23 I will be taking care of Hayley today.

"Of course not, I'm his Auntie."

I looked at her in shock, no matter which angle you look from, she looked no older than my age.

"I would have never guessed. You look like you're only in your early 20's."

I politely reply back and proceed to keep quiet.

She stares at me but doesn't say anything back. Anger clearly written over her face. Unsure about her hatred towards me, I couldn't understand what I had done wrong. It wasn't like we had met before, not that I can remember anyway.

"That's quite enough Aunty. You can leave."

"I will call you back."

Saying just these few words Prince Elijah sent Judith outside and went straight back to his giant computer filled desk.

He gave what seemed like a silent signal to Robert, seeing this he quickly followed suit and left the room along with Judith.

Once all that was over, it was now just the two of us. Other than the soft melody coming from above, the room was as quiet as the evening moon. I let him talk first as I roam my eyes around his enormously hefty office. Walls purely decorated with white and so was all the other decor, even the plant pots were white, he really was a cleanfreak as Robert had mentioned. Further behind him, the walls were made of glass which was joined by the sliding door leading towards the outside balcony. I imagined him taking a breather, his soft hair fluttering by the wind, short bangs covering half his eyes and him pushing it back with his hand in frustration.

My thoughts were short - lived as I heard him clear his throat, clearly asking for my attention back to him.

"Miss Hayley. I'm glad to welcome you. I hope you won't let me down."

"Thank you for the opportunity, Your Highness. I will serve to the best of my ability."

I firmly reply back with determination.

He smiles, satisfied with my answer and hands me 10 huge documents, which looked like it would take 10 years to complete.

I reluctantly accept it from him with my faded smile. Noticing the change in my expression he begins to speak.

"There is a lot more coming. Please read them carefully before signing.'

He says with his lips firmly tight.

I quietly nod in agreement.

"And remember, Miss Hayley. Being my personal assistant requires a lot of responsibilities, I hope you are prepared for this job. Keep in mind, time management and cleanliness should be your top priority."

"I understand."

Hearing my reply, he picked up the telephone and punched in numerous numbers before pressing the dial button.

"I will be taking care of Hayley today. You're not needed for the day."

"Prince Elijah, um..I thought Judith was taking.."

"Don't worry about it, I just sent her home. You can make yourself comfortable and read these documents."

He gives me his soft smile and hooks his eyes back into his computer screen.

I quickly carry the heavy documents and move over to the large sofa area. I put them down on the wide table and start reading the long, boring company policies, procedures, agreements and so on. I had managed to go through four documents by the time it was 12pm, I looked towards Prince Elijah and waited for him to say something, or just anything to let me go have lunch.

Just at that moment, my stomach decided to make a loud growling noise. I hide it in embarrassment but damage was already done.

"Would you like to join me for lunch?"

Prince Elijah asks with a soft chuckle, clearly failing at hiding his amusement.

I nod, with my face burning, with a blazing red colour I'm sure.

"But before that, I will show you around the staff kitchen downstairs. For when I am unable to accompany you."

He says and extends his hand towards me. I accept his offerend hand and pull myself up. My legs wiggling a little from all that sitting.

We go down to level 20, which Prince Elijah says is the biggest kitchen and lounge area. Upon reaching the Staff room, we become the center of attention. Everyone quickly left what they were doing and bowed down in welcome. Their faces in pleasurable smiles as they dreamy looked towards Prince Elijah but the same gaze looked at me with a bit of jealousy and scorn. I ignored them and followed behind him.

"Everyone please continue."

He says and takes me to show around the kitchen drawers, fridge, freezer, where I can store my lunch and where all the utensils were stored.

I nod my head along to everything he says as I look at him, the more I look the more astonishing he gets. Respect for him grew 10 folds, I hadn't expected him to know all these. Infact, most CEO's wouldn't even know or show the place around for their new employee.

"I see, Thank you." I tell him and follow him back out the door.

On the way out I catch a glimpse of a friendly face I had met before.

"Prince Elijah, can I ask you to wait for just 2 minutes?"

I quickly ask him, afraid she might disappear again. He looks towards where my gaze had landed and takes a few seconds to agree.

"Ofcourse…"

"Thank you!"

I happily reply back as I fast - speed walk towards her.

"Amelia! I finally met u again."

I call out to her and she instantly recognizes me.

"I'm sorry for before, I didn't know who you were and I just dragged you along with me.."

She says covering her face in embarrassment.

"No don't be. I wanted to look for you and apologize instead! I should've told you earlier. But, let's forget about that."

"Alright, I hope we can be friends."

"Ofcourse."

I agree with her but my mood swiftly changes when I feel an intense coldness behind me, from a distance.

"I should go now. I'll see you again."

"Yeah, see you!"

I walked back towards him, who was impatiently waiting for me.

"I'm sorry Prince Elijah. I'm all ready to go now."

He doesn't reply, instead turns around and heads towards the elevator. I follow behind him until we finally reach the top floor's private kitchen.

As soon as we set foot inside, Robert is calmly standing there, with a table full of delicious foods ready to be taken in by the three of us.
