2 The Woman Named Jen

Jen finally put down her pen, and in front of her eyes, was a quick little sketch of the views outside.

"I always knew YD has a beautiful building but now I think it is such a waste to own this land but not let anyone visit." She pulled her sketch off the notebook, folded it in half, and stuffed it in her bag.

"Shouldn't you go after him, Jen?" Lynn shouted while her tiny little heels were stopping her from jumping out of the room.

This was when Jen finally realized, her little "master" had run away- and it was her job to go catch him.

"I don't know why I have to agree to this job," Jen mumbled, and put down everything she had, walked out the door to look for Sebastian.

Jen always thought she was just a regular grad school student when she was reached out by Lynn, Sebastian's auntie, one of the leading characters for female entrepreneurs.

Jen has never really liked Lynn- she wasn't a self-made businesswoman and looked more like a beauty queen than a serious lady.

But Lynn said she was very good friends with Jen's parents and she was ready to take Jen in, teach her how to do business, and also offered to pay for her tuition- all of these on one condition: if Jen agrees to babysit Lynn's nephew.

Jen thought this little nephew must be 3 years old or something, so she agreed.

Not to mention Lynn's dermatologist did a good job in making her look extremely young- but hey, Sebastian was definitely not three.

Both of Jen's parents had passed away several years back so there was no way for her to confirm what Lynn was saying, but since she had no interest in paying such high tuition on her own, this babysitting job didn't sound like the worst offer in the world.

But to Jen's surprise, Lynn's nephew is a 22-year-old man.

Jen must have searched half of the building, but still couldn't find Sebastian.

Actually, she wouldn't know what to say if she saw him:" Hello, I am just a babysitter" or "Don't worry, you don't actually have to listen to me, you are technically listening to Lynn. I don't know why they introduced me like that."

None of these answers seemed good enough, and honestly, Jen didn't quite remember why Sebastian ran out of the door- she was busy drawing.

Walking around in the tight little Mary Jane shoes Lynn bought her, Jen was quickly tired. She slowed down her steps and decided to try looking for Sebastian using another way:

"Sebastian!! Sebastian~~ I have candy for you~ Come out, we know you are still here! The Administrative building is locked today, you can't run awaaay~"

Jen found it quite entertaining to hear her own echo in this building, she does have a beautiful voice.

"Sebastian~ Mr. DAY! Se-seee??"

Before the last echo hit Jen's ears, her mouth was covered and she got dragged into a little room.

"I always hated that name."

It was Sebastian.

"I will let go of you now but you have to be quiet and answer my questions."

Jen nodded, thinking:" How can I talk if you don't move your damn hand. TI will bite. I do bite. What kind of sick game are these rich people playing..."

"Who are you and who sent you here?"

Jen moved Sebastian's hand away from her mouth, but he was not ready to let go of her, so his left hand was now grabbing to her wrist.

"Hi, Jen, grad school student, MBA, terrible major by the way, too expensive, so I took a job from Lynn. She told me to babysit and you seemed a little too big to be a real baby, so I'm confused. And no, I don't know how to run a business so I don't know why she introduced me like that. Maybe it was just a game to test you. You failed, by the way."

Sebastian's hand started gently letting go, but he still looked serious and concerned.

Jen wanted to take a better look at this "baby CEO" but he was either sitting too far from her, or too close, well, and also too dark.

"Why did you say you will be my secretary? You are still a student."

"That is true, I am. But Lynn said if I take a gap year and work here, she would cover all my expenses for the next few years. Maybe I will get a PhD if I'm in the mood for it. She had some sort of a deal or story with my parents, I don't know..."

"How can you not know? Just ask them."

"Yeah, baby genius, as if I didn't think about that. Why don't you just ask your dad to come back then?"

Sebastian stopped... He realized he said the wrong thing. Jen's eyes looked directly at him, it was too dark for him to see clearly but he could sense that she was not comfortable with this topic, so he decided not to ask.

"So you also have stories..."

"Well, I am a little older than you, if I don't have stories that will be kinda boring, won't it? Now, can we get out of this tiny place and go back to the meeting room like the adult you are pretending to be?"

Sebastian felt like his face started burning. No one asked him about the life he had before, he thought if he attended the meeting in the best suit he could find, no one would think he was still a child.

" I suggest you to be quiet now." He said, trying to cover up his embarrassment...

"Where did the two of them go? It's not possible to get out of the building yet, and Sebastian hasn't heard about our plans..."

The sound of Lynn's high heels hitting the ground was getting closer and closer, Sebastian got close to Jen again, gesturing for her not to talk.

"I know, Sebastian's secret room. He must be there again."

"What secret room?? I have never heard of that before."

"It used to be a storage room but he liked it so much as a kid, so we cleaned it out for him. Oh he used to be so cute, what happened to him."

Jen could hear Lynn talking, she was getting closer and closer.

"What should I tell her when she asks? What did we do? Hidding here and I insulted the baby I am supposed to watch?"

Before Jen could even gather her thoughts, she felt a firm grab on her arm, and the next thing she knew, she was under Sebastian's expensive jacket and pulled into his arms.

She opened her eyes wide, but her face was smashed against his chest- lucky that she did not wear any makeup, or his shirt would be colorful by now.

She wanted to get away from him but he kept pushing towards her...

"Omg, Se-se??? What are you doing!"

A beam of light shot on them, Lynn opened the door, surprised.

Jen froze on the spot, she didn't know what to do anymore.

"Didn't you say she would be in charge of me? Then she has gotta take care of everything."

Sebastian said, with a totally different look in his eyes- playful, and also a little evil.

But Jen knew he was secretly squeezing her hand when Lynn showed up.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Lynn gasped so hard that she almost sat on the floor, "Let go of Jen, what are you doing?"

"Oh, this is going to be interesting," Jen could not see Lynn's face but she somehow found this entertaining, "Ah, rich kids..."
