The story of Leo and Cynthia who had been married for two and a half years. The hurt crept into their relationship.

Leo a young and successful Doctor and his gorgeous wife the love of his life, Cynthia owned one of the most popular YouTube channels here in Nigeria. They live in Garki, a place with one of the best houses and neighborhood.

"Babe I'm home", Leo called out as he closed the door behind him, but his call gave no response "babe are you home," he called out again now worried still there was no response.

Cynthia who was watching a show on tv in the living room had heard him but she ignored her husband. "there you are babe you didn't hear me call you" he said walking into the living room. She looked up and said nothing continued watching her show.Leo amazed but tired walked up to her and gave her a kiss on her forehead, which she replied with a sly smile. He nodded and left the living room and walked into the bed room to change and take a shower.

Cynthia's attitude continued for two months and Leo was fast getting frustrated and tired of her attitude, so he went out one Friday night with his friends to chill and talk to them about his problems. Chilling turned into a wild night and he ended up having a few too many shots of tequila. He came back very tipsy by 3am in the Morning, and as he jammed the door, there was Cynthia who had waited up all night "where have you been all night?" she fired at him making Leo laugh " what do you mean by that, what do you mean," he chuckled "what do I mean I said where were you all night."Cynthia in her high pitched voice replied him

"babe we've been married for two and a half years and I have loved you everyday and cherished you treated you like a Queen" Leo shouted now angry at the reply she gave him "messed up from time to time yes but I'm not perfect I mean who is ?they were times I raised my voice at you but babe there was never a day that I did that and didn't apologize he continued "babe no matter how right or how wrong I was I will always come around and cuddle you, make sure you are ok. But for the last two months you've put up this godforsaken nasty attitude, you don't respond to me like you used to, you don't kiss me back... you act like you just look through me.. and sex! babe we don't have sex anymore" he fired on with hurt in his eyes

"I'm a man and I've been horny, I come to bed and touch you and you shrug my hands off your shoulder'. So yeah I got frustrated and I went out with my friends.. we had a wild night and I hooked up with a stranger" he said with a mischievous grin on his face. , "you what!" Cynthia exclaimed completely shocked and furious ,

Leo realized what he had said rubbed his face and moved to her trying to calm her down and explain.. "babe let me explain" he said "explain what?!! You had sex with another woman" she asked him moving back " look babe " Leo said Still trying to explain "didn't mean for it to happen.. you know I can't stand you being mad for a day let alone two months, do you know how much it hurt me to see you like that babe" he spoke all at once.." so your love for me made you sleep with another woman Cynthia asked turning to leave.. immediately Leo holds her and trying to calm her down babe I love you so much, it hurts me to see you mad or unhappy and I know I messed up sleeping with another woman it's wrong and I'm not trying to justify it or give any excuse...

" so what are you doing?, Cynthia said. "trying to make you understand babe" Leo said .. understand what, Understand that you slept with a hoe?" Cynthia yelled cutting him off. "She's not a hoe" Leo replied, Cynthia looked at him and said; Oh so you are defending her now?

"No no I'm not" he said face palming himself

"Babe I'm so sorry" He continued , "don't call me babe again" Cynthia said, "ok wow it hasn't come to that" Leo said in shock.. ok Cynthia he said rubbing his face, but babe you wouldn't even look at me for months, you wouldn't have a conversation with me.. I had to get your attention babe, "don't call me babe" she warns again.. Sorry Cynthia Leo replied.. but do you know how hard it was; he said with tears now forming in his eyes.. I just want to know why, "what did I do wrong" said Leo.. you don't know what you did wrong Cynthia asked.

"How would I know" Leo asked as he raised his voice.. I asked you severally you wouldn't talk or respond to me how would I know I'm not sidekick. I wouldn't know if you don't communicate what the problem is with me; you are my wife we live in the same house, you are not some other woman if I did something wrong you should communicate that with me right? He said, but no response from her... with a confused look on her face, after a few seconds of awkward silence "I'm no longer in love with you.. I fell out of love and I couldn't pretend anymore so I had to put some attitude on but you were too blind to take a hint she said.

"What!! I don't understand where is this coming from" Leo said with a deranged look on his face and tears in his eyes. "I'm so confused after all this time you are telling me this now.. why didn't you talk to me if I was doing something wrong" Leo exclaimed, you weren't I just lost interest she said.. I tried to see if there was something still there but there was nothing so, who is he? Leo asked cutting her off. She paused "looking confused" and replied who is who?, who is he Leo asked again this time "raising his voice" and cleaning his tears. If you've felt this way for long then you have someone else, "well I don't" Cynthia said I still respect our marriage and now I want a divorce.. what!!!! Leo said you really mean that he asked? Yes I do she said putting her head down, look at me if you truly mean that after a few seconds of hesitation she raised her head and said yes I really do.

"You're just going to give up on us, throw years of friendship away" Leo said, "no I'm not I'm just ending our marriage" Cynthia replied.— "if this is because of what happened last night I'm so sorry babe please forgive me; it was stupid of me" said Leo "feeling remorseful" , No it's not that I'm just not feeling this anymore and it's better we end it now than 10years from now Cynthia concluded "with a straight face"

it's fine babe.. "stop it with the babe calling" I'm not your babe go call your one night stand babe Cynthia said "cutting her husband off".. "I will call you babe cause you are still my wife" Leo said as he drew closer to her, but it's fine, it hurts like hell but it's fine if that's how you feel then it's alright Leo continued .. "you've broken my heart" he said crying "but I will always love you and you will always have a place in my heart the broken parts of it, your name will always be written there, as heaven is my witness" he said still crying "as he continued" I loved you so deep it was pure like the depths of the ocean, there were days I wasn't my best but I loved you, I loved you in your dark days and in your bright ones... I loved you when you were a still day and when you were a storm. And you "he said smiling as tears rolled down his eyes"; before all the sadness and attitude before all these started we were unbreakable. "I was so happy when we got married because you were everything I ever dreamt my life would be.. everything I ever prayed for" said Leo.. on days when I was sad "he said cleaning his eyes" I was still happy because I had you by my side.. "it was me and you against the world remember" he asked her as she nodded her head with a cute smile... now everything is falling apart... "I emm" he said covering his face and crying.. "Babe stop" she said "in a low nice tone" he raised his head and asked me?, yes you she said smiling you gave me so much shit about calling you babe, "yes I know" she replied "are you kidding me" Leo exclaimed; "hey hey hey,it was all a prank babe" Cynthia said smiling..

What!!!!! Leo said shouting angrily what the hell he said; Cynthia you got me all messed up "still crying", "my name is babe" Cynthia said. it was all for my YouTube video .. "you remember a couple of months ago when you said you don't cry and you don't get all emotional and all" Cynthia asked, "yes I do" he answered as he nodded his head... "so all this was just to make me cry why didn't you stop when I shedded the first tear" he asked.. Cynthia smiling as he responded it had to look real... "damn" he said "two months of not talking, no sex just to see me cry you are evil babe" Leo said "you made me cheat on you"... no you didn't She said.. "what are you talking about" Leo asked "it was all a set up" Cynthia replied. "I called your friends and told them what I was up to and they were in on it" wow! "those miscreants" he said smiling, and the girl (smiles) "that was my friend Sandra you were very tipsy she just seduced you but nothing happened" Cynthia said with a grin ... "how are you sure because I did things yes I know when I do things", Leo replied; "don't push I play boy" Cynthia exclaimed with a smile, well she sent me a video, you just danced and went to a room. Leo so angry and confused.. "I'm so sorry babe it hurt me so much causing you pain.. it was hard for me doing this prank especially when you cried but I had to get through with it, plus it felt good to know you love me this much" she said crying too as she cleaned his tears "I love you so much babe" she said, "I love you too, I'm super mad at you right now, but I'm so glad you are not leaving me" Leo said. "This last hour and a half has been the most intense of my life" He said smiling "you are such a good actor why don't you join Nollywood" he continued, "I just might" Cynthia said smiling, as she hugged and kissed him.
