"Brandt." Saga calls. "My love."

Brandt slowly opened his eyes to his dark room. He looks at his lover and frowns. He pulls her to bed next to him and embraces her.

"I waited for you earlier, why did you not come?" He asks with closed eyes.

"Brandt." She pushes away from him. "You need to get up right now. You need to leave." The king opens one eye and looks at her, confused.

"What are you saying, love. Where do you want to go in the middle of the night?" He asks.

"Brandt, they are going to kill you." Saga tells him with wide eyes. Brandt sits up right away and turns on the light to have a better look at her.

"Saga, what are you saying?" He is fully awake now.

"The queen." She gulps. "I overheard her, she ordered her sorcerer to kill you." Brandt blinks a few times.

"Are you playing a joke on me, love?" Saga shakes him.

"Listen to me, you have to leave."
