176 The Return

"Oh… It is really you." Bodil rushes to her brother and takes him in her arms with tears in her eyes. She ran all the way from her room when the servant notified her. "I thought they had made a mistake." 

Bjarte hugs her back, holding back his own tears. Bodil pushes away to take a better look at her little brother. She frowns. He has lost so much weight, he looks drained and exhausted.

"How have you been?" She asks him, guiding him to the sofa.

"I am just happy to see you, Bodil." A fresh set of tears race down her cheeks.

"I have missed you so much." She hugs him again.

"I have too, sister, I have too."

"How did you get here?" She asks, curious. "Did brother send you?"

"I ran away from Pyama." He says to her. "A lot has happened, Bodil. Incredible things."

"Tell me everything."
