30 Her worries!

In the evening Subaru came back home with the official letter of the board in hand, stating that he had passed the entrance exam and the identity card attached to the paper, would work as proof when he would board the plane from Japan.

Subaru never had imagined that the entrance test would go so fluently and something would cause him to skip one of the tests.

"Congratulations baby. Your mama is very proud of you". Sasha greeted him with a party cap on her head and a happy smile on her face.

Subaru hugged her lightly before entering the house. The whole house was party decorated like how she always did on his birthday with a delicious chocolate cake on the dining table whose fragrance penetrated the olfactory of Subaru as soon he entered the dining hall.

" Were you this much confident that I would pass? " Subaru asked as this party would have become really awkward if he had failed the test.

" Of course baby, I was 120% sure that you will pass easily and if you had failed then I would have enjoyed more in that case." She grinned playfully before grabbing his hand and escorting him toward the table.

They celebrated the whole evening before Subaru's phone rang. It was from Theo.

" I passed, what about you? " As soon Subaru picked the phone Theo said these words.

" What do you think? "

" Rinka chan failed can you imagine ?" Theo's voice was sorrowful like he had failed himself.

"I am surprised that how you passed the physical exams. And wasn't it obvious that the loli will obviously fall short in that practical test". Subaru said straightforwardly as he saw what and how the participants went through the advanced test which he never gave. He concluded that those who passed the advance test were worthy of being at least a D rank hunter even without attending the school.

"Dude atleast cheer me up in these type of situations". Theo nagged before Subaru asked him something unexpected.

" Do you know where Ms. Principal is? Somehow I wasn't able to contact her". Subaru asked as he was unable to call Fubuki for some reason and she also didn't called him to ask about his exams or something.

" She is at home. Do you want me to relay my phone? " Theo asked however it seemed that he already started moving.

" No let it be". Subaru didn't pressed this matter as it was already awkward to ask about someone else's mom when they knew that you are in a relationship with her.

"Okay as you wish. Ah yes can you meet me the day after tomorrow before the departure time?" Theo asked.

"Yeah sure, i will pick you up". They ended the call soon after.

Ririka also called Subaru late in the evening telling him that she also passed the exam and how happy she was. Her voice was so cheerful that it felt that she had won a war and was ready to get retired.

Subaru chatted with her for an hour before ending the call.

Sasha still didn't knew about Ririka nor Subaru told her specifically as he was uncertain how would she react . He wasn't going to hide it , if she asks him directly but he wanted to keep it secret until he graduates from the hunters school.

Going back inside the house he saw Sasha cooking dinner with humming sound filled in the kitchen. Subaru walked toward her and gently hugged her from the back.

"Someone is really happy today. What happened?". Subaru asked as Sasha was really happy since the time he returned however she was really pitiful in the morning when Subaru left her to take the exam. Subaru was sure that Sasha would be sad to know that he passed and he would stay away from her for 2 years , but he was wrong .

"Yes , i am happy for my child , what else". She closed her eyes and leaned back with her head on his shoulder.

They enjoyed the peaceful time silently even Subaru was slightly confused with her behaviour. He knew her stalker mother won't become normal all of a sudden after waking from the coma , more to it she was acting more spoilt after she woke up. That is why he was tensed what she could be brewing secretly.

Subaru sighed and as night arrived he called Fubuki the last time but again his call wasn't connected. Now he was worried , so he decided to meet her right now. Subaru didn't cared what time it was, and got up immediately from the bed making Sasha who was about to lie down, confused.

"What happened baby?"

"Mom I am going to meet Ms.Principal. She isn't picking my phone since morning. Can you...sleep without me for now?" Subaru asked hesitantly as he felt bad for Sasha .

"Yeah you can go but don't cross the line baby ". She waved without thinking for another second and reminded him again to not go all out with Fubuki. Subaru was again suprised to see Sasha's easy going attitude.

He nodded and jumped out of the window. It only took him two and a half minute to reach Fubuki's house in full speed of hovering. He knew that Fubuki lived on the ground floor so he jumped over the fences and after easily avoiding the survelliance , jumped inside the bedroom of the owner of the mansion.

Subaru silently walked inside the huge room which was dimly lighted with curtains covering the whole room. Fubuki's room despite being huge wasn't crowded at all. Only a simple couch , a big study table and a queen sized bed. Subaru already had been inside her room several times, so he knew the interior of the room and without stumbling on anything made his way toward the bed .

He saw Fubuki lying on the bed motionlessly with her face dipped in the soft pillow . She was wearing an one piece white night gown with her sexy legs fully exposed and bountiful butt inviting him to grab on them, but he held back the urge and stood silently.

Subaru's movements were very fluent when he entered and his mana was concealed to zero but still Fubuki realised that someone had entered her room and she immediately stood up .

As soon she lifted her body to see who dared to come inside her room without permission, her body froze immediately.

Subaru was standing there silently waiting for her to react or speak first but no word came from her mouth , so he decided to speak first.

"Why are you avoiding me". Fubuki immediately lied down again before pushing her face on the pillow , and said in muffled tone .

"I am not". Subaru walked toward her and pulled her up forcibly after grabbing her arm.

"Then look at my eyes and tell me that again ". He forced her to sit up and face him and after a little protest, she obeyed according to his commands .

"I-I am.." she wasn't able to complete her sentence when her voice broke out. She tried to hide her face again but Subaru's grip was too rigid for her to break free .

"Fubuki , are you sad because I am going?" Subaru asked with warm eyes and in a very gentle tone. Very few people had saw this side of Subaru or to say only three person in this world knew how this cold and aloof guy could be romantic and caring.

"I ...yes. It is laughable right?". She accepted it before her gaze fell downward.

Subaru heart melted at her cuteness and he hugged her gently, placing her head on his chest. He started slowly caressing her beautiful hairs as he spoke.

"Why would I? Isn't it obvious to feel like this way ,toward the person you care for ?" Subaru said as he also felt the same toward Fubuki and Sasha too.

"You know , after Theo's father left me 14 years ago , I never even in my wildest dream imagined that I will be able to open my heart toward anyone. I had friends and colleagues and even a best friends with whome I could share my any pain or happiness without hesitation, but you know there is always a place which a best friend can't fill. Then, you came into my life and I don't know when my lust toward you took the form of love..." She paused for a second before continuing again. Subaru was just listening to her each word carefully , and didn't interrupted her. He was little surprised as it was the first time she mentioned her deceased husband .

"I know this is too sudden and too shameless for a middle aged woman to say this but I...I am in love with you Subaru not today but since a while. Whenever I don't see you even for a day i feel at loss like something is missing . i don't know when this happened but I fell head over heels before I could stop myself. I know our relationship is impossible but-" this time he interjected before she could finish.

"Who said it's impossible. I mean, is it because of our age gap and what others would say?" He asked as Fubuki had already mentioned about this various times before. She nodded hesitantly , with her eyes closed and palm pressed against Subaru's sturdy chest , feeling frail in his arms.

"Fubuki I also love you and i already told you age is just number . You are and always will beautiful in m eyes so belive me especially when I say you to believe me . And about people judging us then, I don't give a flying fuck what others think so be proud of our relation and don't say anything like this again. Kay?" Her eyes went wide when she heard Subaru's word. She even forgot to breathe for couple of second . She felt warmness inside her heart like something felt complete today . She clutched his shirt tightly , trying to make their hug more intimated and feel Subaru's warmth more closer.

Subaru sensed her motive and in a natural way wrapped his hands around her shoulders before lying down on the bed. He placed Fubuki's head on his bicep while his chest facing her face.He threw his shoes on the ground and put his leg between Fubuki's thighs, leaving no gap in between them. They embraced each other very closely the whole night and enjoyed each other's presence like they were the only one left in the world.

Next morning they both woke up almost at the same time as they both had similar biological cycle. Subaru thought that the bedhead Fubuki was also cute and after hugging her closely for the last time he got up from the bed. The whole night they only cuddled nothing else, but still it was really a sweet night for both of them. Fubuki slept this soundly without a worry in the world after very long time that she even couldn't seemed to remember. Subaru had came to her room before also but this was the first night he stayed with her.

"Are you leaving already . Well i know you have to prepare so I won't ask for more~". Her old teasing tone returned but she was still feeling a little low .

"Sorry but I won't be able to meet you before tomorrow. And don't worry after going to the school, I will meet you once every month. So be a good girl and don't be upset anymore ." Subaru pecked softly on her forehead before dashing toward the same window he used yesterday.

Fubuki just smiled as she saw him disappearing from her view .

'Its really fortunate that I fell for a person like him.

Coming back to the home, Sasha was frowning, obviously because of spending the whole night alone so it took him an hour to coax her before he started to finally pack out what he needed for the school. Since there were some arrangements of clothing on the island he only stuffed a couple of pairs of clothes in the storage. The day passed in a flash and finally, the day arrived when he and like him many others would step toward learning something new.
