5 5. 3 years later

I really missed Myrah and the last I had seen her was at the mall over a year ago. She had never returned home since she left 3 years ago and now she was writing up her final examination but was doing an internship at one of the top hospitals in London. We called each other frequently and she always questioned me about school and I always complained about how I hated that she was so far away from me. We never really spoke about my parents and at home everyone was okay with her being away for so long. She always made me promise that I will work hard and never give up.

Edwin Smith had returned home last christmas and decided to stay so uncle Reg had got him registered to complete his final year with us.

He seems so arrogant now with his good looks and I really have a huge crush on him. He seems so mature now and I rarely ever go next door to visit the twins at their home anymore as he is always rude to me either slamming doors in my face or making silly comments.

This year he came in and knocked all the girls off their feet at school. He started dating one of the popular girls Skylar at school which maddened me for some reason, especially when everyone knows Skylars reputation amongst the guys which didn't seem to bother him in the least.

A few days later I stomped over to where he was standing alone smoking and decided to ask him what was his deal because earlier that day as I was trying to show one of our classmates Ben how to work out a few math sums and he walked over to us, ripped off the page from Ben's notebook and walked away.

As arrogant as ever he had smirked at me and said I do not want you talking to Ben if I ever see you do that again I will hurt him. He pushed me against the wall removed my hair tie and left. For some reason the next day onwards Ben had completely ignored me.

A few nights later I went over to the twins house to study as we were writing a test in a few days. Edwin had let me in and told me that they will be studying in the kitchen today and to my surprise he had joined us .

I was really amazed at the fact that for someone who skipped class alot he was really very intelligent and had even managed to show us how to work out a really difficult equation. After we had studied I headed home and walked me out the door to my gate and with a light kiss on my cheek he said goodnight and left.

I woke up early the next day to get to school on time I did my morning routine put a little extra effort in my hair grabbed a banana and left to meet the twins at the gate who greeted me cheerfully as their brother will be giving us a ride from now on.

The twins started bickering about who gets to sit in the front with Eddie which made him furious resulting in both of them at the back and me sitting at the front.

Eddie had broken up with Skylar after two months, causing her to have a little bit of a meltdown for a few days and then she became her cold self again dating all the other guys and dictating to everyone.

The twins and I had never been invited to a party before but since Eddie came into the picture we got invited to one of the other popular girls Amber's house on Friday night which was said to be the party of the year and it was decided that we will all go.

My parents would have never let me go so on friday night I sneaked out and went to the twins wearing a pair of blue denim shorts matched with a white tank top with white converse sneakers and my hair left down pin straight with a red scarf tied around my hair with a bow in the front.

Eddie offered to take us so we excitedly got into the car and as we reached there it seemed really lively.We greeted everyone and decided to join the party.The twins and I have never drank before so Eddie had decided to get us all a beer each and I accompanied him midway he stopped turning around and saying dont mess this up you're the reason we're here with that he marched off leaving me to trail behind.

I followed him even with all my confusion we had gotten the beers and headed back out to see that the twins were already taking shots with a group of people some of who I recognized from school and without thinking it through I had joined in.

After a few shots I looked up to see Eddie staring at us red faced I mouthed him a sorry and continued, by the end of the night we all were having a good time we turned out to be responsible drinkers as we stopped after a few shots when we had become tipsy and danced with everyone.

The next day I don't even remember how I got such a terrible headache but it so happened that Eddie had convinced the twins to get me me to come over and we spent the rest of the relaxing by the pool almost as if last night was a dream.

When I got home later that afternoon Wesley had overheard about the party from Skylars older sister Melinee whose car he had sorted out a few months ago and they are now a couple.

Wesley threatened to tell my parents if it ever happened again and he also warned me against having anything other than friendship with Eddie.
