25 25. Decisions

After all that had happened in my life these past few weeks I had spent time with Eddie and his family.

Today is Christmas and it is also Eddies birthday aswell so everyone at the Smith household was trying their best to make it a memorable day for us all as uncle Reg and I had managed to persuade them to go to college in the new year.

Eddie was totally heartbroken and the twins were clearly disappointed. After a family lunch with the Smith's Eddie and I had headed out to the beach to spend the rest of the day today. We rarely spoke after I had convinced him to go to college.

At the beach I had given him his birthday gift which was a framed photo of the two of us and a silver wrist watch that I had gotten "for every minute that will lead to our forever together" engraved at the back of the watch.

He had cried and declined going to college. A few days later I had started working at a clothing store in the mall and he had joined his dad and Wesley at the workshop. The twins had already left for New York to settle in for the year and Eddie and I had decided that we would join them the following year and we all would start classes.

We had later recieved the news that the Thompsons had met in a car accident. Stacey had died on the spot and Denton was hospitalized after a few hours of agony being caused upon Wesley he had passed away leaving Wesley completely devastated.

I had contacted Myrah who decided we should go to support Wesley on the day he buried both his parents.

On the day of the funeral there were many people who attended the ceremony. Wesley was really upset as he had not expected to lose his parents in such a way without saying goodbye and especially without being able to forgive them for all the wrong they had done.

Four months had passed and their lawyers had contacted the 3 children to give us each a shares of 18 billion dollars each. The house was to be given to me. Myrah and Wesley were to take the store and whatever they had wished from Staceys belongings.

Myrah had taken her share and so had Wesley I had declined my share at first but I had accepted after alot of persuasion from Wesley and Myrah.

Wesley had helped me sell the house and I had bought a new one which I had gifted to Wesley who would be moving into it with Melinee after they got married. Myrah had decided to let workers continue working in the shop and were now looking for a manager. Wesley would soon become the owner.

Myrah had transferred her share into my account saying that she has more than enough money being married to Elton. I had declined at first but she had shown me proof that this money belonged to me as Elton used to transfer huge amounts of money on a monthly basis into an account that he had set up in Dentons name for me. Also almost everything that the Thompsons have owned was supposed to have been mine when I turned eighteen and I figured that is the reason Denton had wanted to forcibly marry me.

Eddie and uncle Reg said that I did not need to accept any of the shares but I didn't want to have to be a burden for too long therefore I had accepted the money as it was mine and I deserved it after what they had put me through.

My job at the mall had not been paying very well and I used to try and take on extra shifts which always made Eddie angry but I have now quit that job decided that I would take this time to enjoy my life as we will be going to NYU to start in the new year.

I went to speak with Mrs Steward to contact Mrs Foster to inform her that i am ready to accept the scholarship and would like to start in the new year and I also asked about Eddie and the twins getting into their programme of choice. Mrs Foster was contacted and said she will send us letters in a few days.

For the first time in life I had seen so much of money I wanted to do something nice for the Smith family so I had taken them on a holiday to Italy.

Eddie and uncle Reg were not really interested in it but it was to show a little appreciation for the time that they had taken me in and besides I had become a freaken billionaire. The twins were excited and at the end we had all enjoyed the trip. The twins and I had spent a lot of time shopping. Eddie and uncle Reg mostly relaxed.

After the new year Myrah and Elton had come to visit us at the Smith's and Elton seemed to be a very nice person though we hadn't spoke much.

Myrah had told us that he regretted giving me away and that they now had a very intimate relationship sharing everything with each other since they got married.

I was really happy for her and Ria that they were living a good life but my heart was still broken from incidents of the past.

Myrah had informed us of her pregnancy and I couldn't be happier for her but part of me was angry at the fact that Elton had given me away and now he has started a new life.
