14 14. Catching up

Later that evening the twins had come by again to fetch me at first I had refused and they began asking questions about why my eyes are so red and puffy but I decided that i did not want to tell the truth to them right now so I had lied that I was asleep and they had woken me up.

Not wanting them to ask anymore questions i had quickly washed my face and swiped on some makeup to cover up the effects of crying I had even put on a pair of grey contacts lens, some eyeliner and mascara.

With no time to change as they were beginning to rush and said that I looked amazing I left with them in the same outfit I had on and on my way out I didn't even bother telling them that I was leaving Denton glared at me motioning that I should be quiet and I understood that he meant that I should not discuss anything with anyone.

Eddie still hadnt called or texted me yet perhaps he had forgotten and that was fine I really wasn't in the mood because I knew if I saw him I would cry again and that's exactly what happened when I entered the twins house and uncle Reg along with Eddie, Trey, Chase and Myrah shouted SURPRISE!!!

I was so excited to see her but I also was afraid of her being around now because I wondered how she would take it when she came home and learned of her parents actions.

I cut the cake with Eddie feeding me really carefully without messing me and then everyone gathered around me giving me hugs and kisses and gifts. I had completely broken down I could not stop the water works

Myrah and I had hugged tightly and cried causing everyone to look at confused and uncle Reg decided that Myrah and I should be left alone to catch up.

Eddie sent worried glances my way and I assured him that I would be fine so he left us and went to help the others in the kitchen to set up the table and to check if the meal was ready.

Myrah asked me what's up and I decided that is was best for her not to find out the truth right now she should come home and she will learn about it eventually so I responded saying nothing much and telling her how happy it is to have her back home.

She said she that did not want to see her parents and will not be going to visit them ever again. I was shocked I said but they really miss you as you are their only real daughter and she laughed at me.

"Milan I am adopted just like you are their only real child is Wesley. I hate that family Milan if only you knew what they had done to me."

I asked her what she meant by saying that and she responded by saying that we will discuss all this later and that we should go and enjoy my seventeenth birthday.

We headed out and joined Eddie and the rest of the Smith family. After the meal we all had cleaned up the kitchen and Myrah had decided that she will be going to stay at a hotel but uncle Reg insisted that she stay over for the night and tomorrow if she wanted to leave he would let .

I felt really happy in this home so I spent the night with the twins and Eddie watching movies and playing board games as we had decided that we would stay up and hang out as nine of us could get any sleep due to results being released in a few hours. Myrah was tired so she went to bed.

At 2 am Mr Thompson who I no longer have the desire to call dad anymore had come over to take me back home without wanting to cause a scene I left.
