Chapter 1: A Bad Day

"Elizabeth, I need you to clean up this room quick, fast, and in a hurry. Come on".

"Yes boss, I'll make sure to clean it up. I'm on my way."

Liz was immediately settling down in a chair trying to go on her break but her boss told her in.

"Damn what took you so long you were supposed to be here in five minutes. How did it take you at least ten minutes to get here?" the man said

" I was on my break, I was supposed to be going on break ten minutes ago but then you told me to clean the bathroom." Liz said.

"Are you telling me what I am saying to you is wrong?"

"No sir." Elizabeth said.

"Good just because you are a good-looking girl doesn't mean that you deserve to have the World Around Your Finger, now stop standing around and get this mess cleaned up!"

"Yes sir."

" Todd, why does he always do this to me? I have done nothing wrong. I'm always nice to people that I… I don't even know and I still am nice to the people that I already have."

"Why am I always being bullied?"

Just when she was thinking about this Todd stuff in the room.

"You're still cleaning up this room God why don't you do such slow work what did I do to deserve a worker that is nothing but a slow-moving sloth?" Todd said.

Todd was weirdly looking Liz up and down at one point he got even closer to her. Todd was suddenly reaching out his hand but then suddenly the manager stepped in.

"Todd, what the hell are you doing? Why are you just looking at what's here? We have customers that need help to quit slacking off and get to work."

A tall man looks around 6 ft and is big built.

"I was telling her that she was going slow and she needed to pick up the pace I'm going back up to the front end." Todd clam

"Liz, are you alright did Todd try to touch you?"

"No, he just came in here and told me that. thank you for helping me out Mr. Mike."

"Not a problem at all, just make sure that you always check yourself."

"Besides you only have an hour left of work, make sure to get back to the college as soon as possible and be safe about it." mr mike

"Yes sir" Elizabeth said gracefully.

Mr. Mike was suddenly locked away no matter what people say he cared for Liz he thought of her as a niece that he has to protect.

Liz was going back to cleaning and after an hour and a half, after he went back to college, she made it back to the University of Cincinnati. She got into it by getting a scholarship in programming. She was known as one of the top students.

But because of the way she dresses and looks, everybody would be bullying her.

"Hey, meditation freak are you going to be seeing the new hipster world oh no wait you're going to go and show the residents of peace and harmony."

"Oh my God, it's that freak again I bet you she has nothing better to do."

"Why did my dad make me go to a college where weirdos are always around?"

Just then she's so amen that was on the football team who was broad built and good looking it was her boyfriend Michael.

" Michael!" Elizabeth yelled excitedly.

"Oh, huh… hey there Liz what are you doing here I thought I told you not to be around."

"I hope I'm just getting back from work and I want to know…"

"Oh my God, Michael, why are you talking to that freaking loser?" A woman suddenly said.

The person that said it was Sydney Morrison, the popular cheerleader of the University's cheerleading squad.

"Oh you see I was just about to tell her but well... tell me what? Oh my God Michael I have to spell it out for you. It looks a little icky."

"My name is Elizabeth."

"I don't care what your name is, you can be dumpster fire for all I care I'm just going to spell it out for you Michael doesn't like you he's been sleeping with me on the side." Sydney said.

"What? Michael, she's telling lies right you want to do that to me, would you?"

"Look... I just got to come up with it straight and forward, I never thought that what we have is special. I didn't think you were falling for me this much and I still get away with bullshit like that." Michael said.

Elizabeth looked distraught and started tearing up.

"No, it's not true. Please tell me that this wasn't true." Elizabeth said.

"Look, Liz, you have to understand how long you think that we were together for one every single time you and I were hanging out. I felt like my popularity was going down because more people thought I was just dating you because I felt pity for you in actuality I did… So do me a favor and never come back or never call me by my name again because what we have is nothing, got it?" Micheal said.

She started to cry running back to her dorm. Upon reaching her door her two best friends Casey and Bri saw her enter.

"Hey Liz you're back how…" Casey suddenly stops.

"Please, what's wrong?" Bri saw her crying and asked.

"Michael he… he was cheating on me."

"What?" They suddenly yelled out.

"He was fooling around with Sydney while he was dating me." Liz cried out.

"That fucking bastard I'm going to go kill him!" Bri shot it out angrily.

"No, please don't..." Liz said.

"But why not if he does this then the entire school should know." Casey said.

"Now his dad is the deputy mayor of the city and if you want it gone he can easily do that or even worse." Liz said sadly.

"Look men are jerks, you shouldn't have dated such a bastard of a man." Bri said.

"How about this even though I have Club activities I can cancel them for today so we all can go somewhere and relax, how do you say that?" Casey said.

"Yeah, after what happened today you deserve to relax and be happy. Let's try to get this funk out of you." Bree said.

"Okay, I guess I can try." Liz said quietly

They all got up helping her feel better and started walking straight to Casey's car.
