Tag

Dao pulled his hand back and fixed his shirt, "So what do I have to do get my tag back?" He asked.

"Why is his tag with you Meng?" Xin looked confused.

"He knows the reason" Meng glared at Dao.

"I don't know what happened, but if you don't have your tag until tomorrow, you cannot join the briefing tomorrow and you will be marked as failed too" Xin explained the situation.

Dao looked very angry, his face started to turn red, his friend Luo noticed it and dragged him out of the cafeteria quickly.

Luo took Dao with him out to the hallway, "Calm down Dao" Luo tried to calm him down.

Dao was really a short-tempered person, if he gets angry his body was always faster than his brain.

"Calm down? You don't see what that asshole is doing? How can I be calm!?" Dao who was still in the heat of the moment wanted to walk back to the cafeteria, but Luo stopped him and put his hands on Dao's shoulder.

"I said calm down, if you are going back there, you definitely need to retake the MOS next year" Luo said, looking into Dao's eyes.

"Then what should I do?" Dao scratched his head when he was confused he always lost composure and acted like a kid.

"He did that because of what happened this morning, you remember? You talk back to him when we were the ones at fault" Luo explained the reason to Dao.

"Just because of that? What a kid, so what should we do?" Dao asks Luo for a solution.

"I don't know either, maybe try to talk to him. But be more respectful towards him. Because just now you acted like a thug, you know? I've told you many times your punch is not a solution, we'll talk to him later, let's go to the Music faculty to get some signature for now" Luo took Dao's hand as he started walk. Afraid that Dao would run back in to the cafeteria.

All the freshmen have finished their activities for today, they are free to go home or stay on college to collect signs or hangouts with their friends.

Meng takes his bag and goes home first because he needs to get his phone repaired.

He hurried down to the parking lot, seated himself on this motorcycle and drove off.

Dao and Luo saw him drive off, Dao quickly took Luo's motorcycle key and chased after Meng.

Luo looked after his friend, sighing and shaking his head. "That was my ride home."

Meng arrived at the phone repair shop, he parked his motorcycle and walked in to one of the shop.

"Excuse me sir, I want to get my phone fixed, it fell into the water and can't be turned on after that" meng put the phone on the table and explained the cause.

"Let me check it for you" the shop owner took the phone and brought it to his work table.

Meng was walking around the phone case area while waiting for his phone to be checked.

Dao walked in to the shop and found Meng looking at the phone cases, he quickly grabbed Meng's hand, Meng looked surprised, "What are you doing here?" Asked Meng.

"What I'm doing here? Isn't it obvious? I want my tag" Dao's exhausted and looking tired from searching in every phone repair shop, that he could find, for Meng.

Meng shoved Dao away from him, freeing his hand from the other's grip. Without looking, he walked up to the counter again.

He asked the owner about his phone's condition. So the owner answered him with the devastating news.

"It has suffered to much damage from the water. If you had put it in rice after it happened, then maybe. But now? It can't be repaired, you will have to buy a new one"

Meng looked sad and took the phone back and he stared at the floor while thinking how to get the money to buy a new one.

He is barely has enough for living, so buying a new phone was out of the question. He couldn't even afford to buy new shoes for himself.

He told the owner that he didn't have enough money to buy a new phone. Meng walked out of the shop followed By Dao.

In front of the shop, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break your phone, I will buy you a new one, you can choose which one you want" Dao looks apologetic.

"There's no need for you to do that, this is your tag, don't come close to me, ever again" Meng gave Dao his tag and walked to his motorcycle and went home.

Dao could only look at him until he was too far away for him to see.

At night, Dao has returned home, he sat on the sofa. He kept thinking about what had happened this afternoon, he tried to call Luo to explain to him.

Dao: (Hey Luo, I want-) Dao got cutoff by Luo

Luo: (You still have a dare to call me, you forgot what you just did today, how can you just steal my bike just like that) Luo shouted on the phone.

Dao: (I'm sorry, I'm not stealing, I'm just borrowing your bike, listen to me now.....) Dao explains what happened this afternoon at the repair shop to Luo.

Dao: (so that's it, what should I do?)

Luo: (well, if he doesn't want to accept your apology, then try to buy the same model phone for him, and tell him you're really sorry)

Dao: (you think he will accept it?)

Luo: (I think he will, no need to think too much, by the way, tomorrow you have to come to pick me up. Fortunately, that someone wants to take me home today, if not, I might have gone to the police to make a report of stealing)

Dao: (okay) Dao hung up the phone and walked back to his room to get some sleep.

The next morning, Dao arrived at Luo's house to pick him up, Luo quickly ran out from his house and get into the car.

"Hey Dao, you know what I found?" Luo looks serious.

"What? Have you found a new girlfriend?" Dao made a joke and started driving.

"I am serious right now, do you remember when you were kidnapped? Meng is the person who was kidnapped with you", Dao suddenly pressed on the break too hard which made Luo hit his head.

"You're kidding right?" Dao looked surprised and looked at Luo.

"you want to kill me? Why do I have to lie to you, I tried searching about him last night and I found out he went to the same school which was your previous school before you change school after the accident, so I tried asking one of my friends there, most of them knew about him because he's one of the victims" Luo explained to Dao.

Dao suddenly started driving again at high speed to hurry to the college, "Hey I still want to get married, I don't wanna die yet" Luo quickly put on his seatbelt.

At college, Dao and Luo have arrived, Dao wants to look for Meng but got stopped by Luo because they need to attend a briefing from their faculty.

After arriving at his faculty building, Dao looks for every mentor in his faculty but looks like Meng is not one of them.

He could only hope that the briefing ended quickly so he could go looking for Meng.

After the briefing was finished, Dao went to another Faculty building to look for Meng and Luo had no choice so he followed him.

They went to all the buildings and couldn't find Meng so they went to find head mentor Xin to ask about Meng's whereabouts.

Dao and Luo found Xin discussing with the other mentor in the cafeteria, they walked to their table and greeted the mentor.

"Good morning, I want to ask where is Mentor Meng? I can't find him anywhere" Dao asked Xin.

"He is not coming today, he said he is sick" Xin told them.

Dao's eyes looks sad, "Oh okay, thank you for telling me" Dao turn his back and walk away with Luo.

They are walking to the hallway and Dao is asking for Meng's address to Luo, Luo is like a walking encyclopedia, he knows all information that Dao wants to know.

"Of course I know where he lives, if you want to know, well you know what you need to do" Luo grinned while looking at Dao.

"Okay fine, as usual?" Dao agreed to him, what Luo want is food, he could eat all day and never gets fat, which made everyone envious of him.

Luo told Dao the address of Meng's place, He lived in the college dormitory which was just behind the college.

Dao went to Meng's dormitory by himself because Luo had to practice the activity for his faculty's performance at the college.

Dao arrived in front of Meng's room, he tried to call him and knocked on the door, but there was no response from him, he kept knocking on the door.

Suddenly someone spoke to him in the back, "What are you doing here" Dao quickly turned around and looked very surprised like someone getting caught.

It is Meng, he looks annoyed by seeing Dao in his place, Dao looks so shocked that he can't answer him.

"I asked what you were doing in front of my room" Meng asked again.
