Revenge plan

"Will you make him my husband?" Ariadne inquired from her mother.

Isabella glanced at the painting once more before looking at her daughter. She was the apple of her eye. She would lay the world at her feet if that is what she wanted.

"I will send the wedding proposal to his family," she said to her.

Ariadne gazed into the eyes of the male in the painting. The word her mother had given her wasn't enough. She wanted more to feel better.

She could relax until she wiped the glare from the boy out of his face. The urge to put out the fire in his eyes was burning through her that she could settle for what her mother offered.

"I want him to be mine in the next few hours mother. If the sun were to set without me being married then I will declare war on Alorenad," she threatened. "It will be compensation for the pain I will be in," she added.

She knew for sure that her mother was not interested in war at the moment. She benefits a lot from the friendship between Acerradia and Alorenad. If anything were to happen to that friendship then she stood to lose quite a lot.

"Do not think of taking such drastic steps. I am the queen of Acerradia and I give you my word that by sunset today you will have this man as your husband," she uttered confidently.

"That is what I like to hear," She told to her mother and left the room to go and get ready for her wedding.

The painting of Draxan was given to the servants. The queen wanted the male found and brought to the palace for the wedding. Invitations to the wedding were made in a hurry with only the bride's name on them and sent to the most important families in the kingdom.

The invite was more like an order. The princess's wedding was the most important function in the queen's eyes and anyone who dared not to come to the wedding would offend her immensely.

The King and the prince had gotten ready for the wedding. The heir to the throne was getting married and the event itself was historic.

The moment was important for the kingdom as it meant that the future of the kingdom was secured with the marriage.

The palace was decorated beautifully. The work took the time it was done wonderfully. Lavender flower and the scent could be smelled from far away. To the princess, it was the smell of victory over the boy who dared to challenge her.

Ariadne lay on her bed playing with the flowers that were going to be used to decorate her room. Tonight was no ordinary night, it was the night that she would spend with her new husband.

To her husband, she was going to be the most important thing in the world. Her happiness and sorrows would be his to bear till death do them part. He will live for her and his life will revolve around him.

He will leave his home move into her palace from which he will have to do as she said. Only her rules would be followed at the Lavender palace and he will be helpless to do anything about it.

"If you truly are a man and consider yourself equal to me then I dare you to stop this wedding from happening," she expressed.

She wished that she could be there when they give him the news of the wedding. She could only imagine how shattered he will be when he discovered that his life will now be in her control.

What she imagined pleased her a lot. She was going to clip his wings and make it impossible for the poor thing to fly and that was a fact.

"No matter what come may. I will make you dance to my tunes," she vowed.

Her manservant walked into the room with her wedding dress. The blue mermaid dress was so beautiful. It had golden linings on them with beautiful pearls at the collar.

The dress was absolutely beautiful to wear for the wedding. There was another option of a white off-shoulder dress that stretched to the ground.

She gazed at both dresses trying to decide what to wear at the wedding. She was so happy that she was getting married. The trouble of picking clothes to wear each day will fall on her husband once she was married.

Just as matters of the family will also be his responsibility. He would leave it to her husband to do all that while she concentrated on the most important job.

"White it is, the blue one will be for a mother occasion," she let out.

The manservant didn't wait to be told twice and took the blue dress away.

Ariadne closed her eyes to get some rest. She didn't want to look anything less than perfect at her wedding. It was indeed the most interesting day of her life.

And one that would change her life for eternity. The people that the queen had asked to seek Draxan found him in no time.

His family was informed of the princess's decision to marry their son and the royal order for them to go to the palace. They were told of the queens decision to get them married that very evening.

Then news came as a shock to them but they had no other choice but to follow the royal order.

Draxan felt his world crumble around him as he was informed of the queen's order. Indeed that was the worst day of his life.

The day that his freedom and his life was all snatched away from her. Their was really no other choice to agree to the wedding but his heart was not in the decision. He was broken inside and didn't know what to do about it.
