Her love or hatred

The princess left Draxan in the room alone after breakfast. Having a lot of frustrations in her heart, she took her sword and headed to the training arena.

Draxan wanting to become just as strong as the females followed the sounds of the swords to the training ground.

He watched from a distance as the princess clashed her swords with the other warrior. She was moving at such a fast speed that the warriors were unable to see her attacks coming.

A smile appeared on his face as he watched in awe how beautiful Ariadne looked while fighting. Her body movements was so swift, her flexibility was nothing short of astounding.

He gazed at her, his eyes glimmering with desire. He desired to trade places with her and feel the force of the wind clash with his skin as he moved as fast as he did. To be able to fight in a field of women and be able to get them to accept defeat as easily as the princess did.

In no second Ariadne had left behind a trail of bodies of wounded warriors. The warriors were holding parts of their bodies that we're wounded by the princess. She had hurt them with her hand and not her sword.

They were not at war and she was only practicing to vent out. She was having difficulty with her revenge, in the process of trying to break the make that was her husband. She too was being broken in the process.

Her husband was getting under her skin which wasn't good. She was losing sight of her goal. She had to cripple the male's mentality before it grew and affected others as well.

Draxan bit his lower lip finding this side of the princess to be quite alluring. Having her in her armour made her look fierce and scary. She had no sweat on her face from not having used any energy at all to defeat the other warriors.

"You are doing it alll wrong?" he heard and jumped. From hiding spot he didn't think that someone would see him. He swallowed hard.

He raised his gaze to meet that of the princess's best friend Izora. The female matched to close the distance between them, she stood looking down at Ariadne not looking at Draxan.

"You are doing it all wrong," she repeated. The make frowned, he didn't understand what she was going on about and why she was releasing herself. He was only watching the princess fight, there was nothing wrong with that.

"What?!" he raised his voice to have his misunderstandings cleared.

"You are never going to win if you fight her like this," Izora stated to him.

Draxan was even more lost. She was making no sense at all, he wasn't fighting with anyone and was just watching the fight. He made a note that the girl had lost her mind and that he was wasting his time trying to understand her. .

"You won't win the fight with the princess if you fight with your mind, she will break you," Izora said. "If you want to prove to her that women and men are equal then level the playing field," she added.

Draxan's attention was completely captured by her. The sentence that she uttered last was of great interest to him but it also made him more confused.

Even if he wishes to, without the proper training he would never be able to equal the princess. There was no way for him to level the playing field in this case.

"How do I do that if I am not allowed to train?" he questioned to her.

Izora then turned her gaze away from the princess and pulled the prince down with her. At that very moment Ariadne looked at that spot feeling eyes on her, the creeping chill was telling her that the person was the nightmare that she had invited to her palace as her husband.

But upon looking she found ko one there. She blinked and looked again and as before there was no one there.

"Even when he is not around I feel his gaze on me," the princess uttered and sighed helplessly.

Izora sneaked a peek and saw the princess moving away from the training ground. She motioned for Draxan to get back up, it wouldn't be good if the princess caught them talking.

"Love," Izora mentioned.

Draxan felt all the hope that had risen in his heart fall and shatter to pieces. He had really thought that the girl had a Sutton for him but she went and proposed something so stupid and pointless.

"I have often heard that love can move mountains, then why can't it prove that men have a right to be considered equal to women," she reasoned.

Her explanation got Draxan to thinking and indeed she was right. Love had the power to achieve the impossible and it might help him but he didn't get how. The Princess hated him and she felt no love in her heart for him so that idea was useless.

"But the princess hates me and I feel the same towards her," Draxan admitted.

"There is a thin line between love and hatred. One can always become the other in no time," Izora said. "You can decide if you want the princess's hatred or love," she added.

Draxan listened to her, he had his doubts about the advice that she was offering. After all, she was Ariadne's friend so it didn't make sense for her to help him.

She must be someone with high rank in the kingdom to associate with the princess. It was not normal for such females to consider the idea of men being equal to women let alone encourage it.

"Her love can open doors for you to achieve your dreams while her hatred can break your dreams to pieces and leave you with nothing," she said to him. "Give it a thought and choose what part of her you want and work to get that," she added.

"Why are you helping me?" Draxan inquired of her.

"If you want her love then change your tactic but if you prefer her hatred continue batting heads with her," Izora said and walked away into the direction that she appeared from.

Draxan was left speechless by the girl's words. But it gave him something to think about, hope that he might get to be the man he dreams of becoming.

'If this possible then I want your love Ariadne,' he thought.
