Chapter 72 : The times before.

Third person point of view

The mood became cheerful again and they continued to chat away happily. Junkyu convinced them to stay back for dinner too. They couldn't reject Junkyu after all. So they had it together and then went back to their own home. Junkyu and Haruto went back to their room after they left. They all had a nice time together for the whole day.

Junkyu was the first one to finish his shower. He was sitting on the bed fiddling with the ring on his finger. Haruto finished dressing up after a shower and walked out. He went and sat beside Junkyu on the bed. He saw Junkyu lost in thought while playing with the ring. He kissed Junkyu's cheek bringing him out of his daze. Junkyu smiled turning to Haruto.

" What are you thinking about ? " Junkyu took a deep breath and tilted his head. " Nothing much... A little about my past ". He said with a small smile. Haruto was intrigued after hearing Junkyu's answer. He never really knew much about the Junkyu then. " What was it like ? " He asked and Junkyu looked up. He gave a small shrug.

" Well everyone has their ups and downs. When I started it wasn't that easy. I know how Hyunsukie hyung and Jihoon stood by me. Once when I was a rookie, I was mistreated at an audition and Hyunsuk hyung was ready to throw fists. He made sure they apologized for behaving like that with an actor just because they were new.

Jihoon is nothing less. He is ready to throw people off with just a word from me. The both of them are very close to my heart. They are like family to me. Even Jin hyung believed in me and supported me since the start even though some people said that I wouldn't make it. He never let his belief in me go down and he is one of the reasons I am here today.

He is really like a hyung to me. He never lets anyone mistreat any of his artists and takes very good care of them. As time went by, after a few hit shows things changed and people were careful not to mess with me ".

Junkyu let out a breath. " That house is the one I got after my first big success. Jin hyung helped me to get it back then. It is something precious to me because it feels like a proof for all of my hard work and struggle from all the years. And that it all paid off at the end. That is why I didn't want to let go of it ". Junkyu sighed.

" It just brings back so many memories... " He said looking down. Haruto put his hands around Junkyu and pulled him to his chest. Junkyu put his hands around Haruto and closed his eyes, breathing in Haruto's scent. He felt calm in Haruto's embrace. " What is it with Jeongwoo then ? " Haruto asked patting Junkyu's head.

" I already told you what he is like. It is a one sided rivalry. We both started around the same time and we even worked in a few dramas together in the start. He is just raged that I got better opportunities as time went by. So he tried to keep flaring me up whenever he sees me. It was like a childish revenge. I never had or will anything against him. I just either ignored or countered right back to shut him up.

I knew the reason for him being like that, but I never said anything because I didn't want his pride to be hurt more than it did. Well I can just act along right ? Not a difficult thing. So I just gave him what he wanted. He spouted nonsense from time to time and he did cross the line a few times. And I took it to heart being a little dumb. That is all that is there. Nothing more than that. But... now even that is solved. So everything is fine ".

Haruto kept patting Junkyu's head as he listened to him. " You should've just let Jihoon punch him once more ". Junkyu laughed at Haruto's words. " It is fine. His expression, during the one time he got punched is priceless. I will never forget that in my life. He even had a swollen cheek for a few days ". Haruto chuckled.

" That's good then ". Haruto said making Junkyu giggle. Haruto fell backward on the bed still holding Junkyu. Junkyu laughed. Haruto adjusted their position to be more comfortable. Junkyu rubbed his head on Haruto's chest. " I wonder what it would be like if I met you back then ". Haruto said looking a little dazed.

Junkyu also fell in thought after hearing Haruto's words. " I don't think I would've agreed to the contract if it was back then ". Haruto was surprised at that. " Really ? " Junkyu nodded. " That me was a little more immature than now and I really didn't have anything to lose back then. I was also kind of a rebel and a little head strong too ".

Haruto chuckled. Junkyu scratched his head and said. " So it would've been different maybe ". Haruto hummed and nodded. " But I would still like to meet that you ". Junkyu was the one surprised this time. " Why ? " Haruto smirked. " I wonder what it will be like to tame that kind of you. Makes me curious ".

Junkyu snickered and hit Haruto's chest. he could feel the vibration of Haruto's chest as he laughed. " Ah right ". Junkyu said and looked up at Haruto. " There is something I need to ask you ". " What is it ? " Haruto asked resting his hand on Junkyu's back.

" Do you mind if I tell people about us ? No details or anything, but I will reveal my status is all. Will that be fine ? " Haruto nodded. Junkyu's eyebrows shot up. " You agreed way too quickly. Are you really okay with it ? " Haruto chuckled.

" Is there something not to be okay about in that ? I don't mind it. You can do as you please ". " But- " " Don't worry about paparazzi or anything like that. This whole community is under my control. No one can try sneaking in or out around here. Even if something happens, I know how to handle them ". Junkyu smiled. " So cool ".

Haruto shook his head smiling. " How did you know that I was thinking about that ? " Junkyu asked amused. " You are too easy to read ". " Tsk ". Junkyu sneered. Haruto smiled putting his hand on Junkyu's cheek. " But... you really want to reveal it ? " Junkyu nodded his head. " I want to ". Haruto nodded. " Alright then ". Junkyu smiled.

Haruto patted Junkyu's head. " You should sleep. You have work tomorrow right ? " Junkyu nodded. He got out of bed and turned the lights off. He got back in bed and snuggled up to Haruto. " Good night ". " Have a good sleep ". Haruto kissed Junkyu's forehead. Junkyu fell asleep with a small smile on his face.
