9 Chapter 9

I suddenly cursed. Don't know where to go. All the way down there are bodyguards on standby. There is only one I can choose from. I looked at the bottom of the cruise ship. Can I?

"Hurry up. Catch her!" Vergel shouted again.

His bodyguards came closer to me.

One last glance to below I made

"Don't you dare, Mischa. You will die! " Vergel shouted when he thought I would jump.

I smiled at him.

"I'd rather die than touch by you, rapist!" I jumped then. It doesn't matter if I can afford to swim in my condition or not.

Cold water came out of me. I quickly swam away from that cruise ship and looked for a possible ship or boat that I could turn to for help. But, I saw nothing. it looks like the cruise ship has strayed off the shore of Alta because all I can see is darkness.

"Mischa!" I heard Vergel shout.

I rubbed my hand and foot. I could still hear him screaming. That means I haven't been away from them completely. I preferred to swim away even when I had no ship or boat to see. I let myself take my swim to where as far as that Vergel is concerned.

A few minutes passed and it looked like I had already left the cruise ship but I was tired of swimming again. Little by little my hand would stop flapping. I'm getting cold too. My lips are peeling. I want to cry because I haven't seen a ship or a boat yet. But I shouldn't stop because I have to keep going. Not the sea, cold and tired will kill me.

And I will not allow myself to die here easily until I have given justice to the death of my father. I swam more and struggled with a mixture of cold and tiredness. It's half an hour ago maybe but I still don't see a vessel. I'm losing hope..

My feet and hands are also numb. Looks like I can't afford to spend a few more hours at sea. My eyes rolled when I noticed a luxury yacht not far away. It was just steady at sea. Not leaving. I quickly swam closer to it. I suddenly had a little hope. I approached in the back and was glad to see the bathing platform lowered then. I quickly clung to it and called for help.

"Help! Please help!" I shouted again and again but no one answered me.

I better stop screaming and attempt to climb the platform with all my remaining strength. I had climbed as I wanted to but I no longer had the strength to walk or even crawl. The pain of my whole body, as if I had overcome hazzing over and over again.

"What the h*ll?"

I looked up at the man cursing when he saw me. At least I was just as shocked to see him. His gaze dropped to my naked body.  His mouth gazed.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" he said as his eyes narrowed.

I wanted to laugh at what he said but I couldn't because of fatigue.

"Help…" I said softly. I can no longer voice myself. He stared at me for a few more minutes until he was shocked and approached me to carry me. I didn't want to squeeze myself into his muscular body but I couldn't stand it because I could feel his warmth and I was comfortable in his arm.

He sighed heavily. I felt him lower me to the soft bed and I was not aware of what happened next because I lost consciousness.
