19 Chapter 19

I glanced at Kalex who seemed to have no intention of annoying me today and I was grateful for that. He just stared at his cellphone.

Looks like he is reading something. Maybe Eunice's chats or texts.

"You insulted me when you saw me naked on your yacht and even when we were in the mansion but I didn't know that your type of woman was even more vulgar than me." Of course, this is my chance to annoy him.

He turned off his cellphone. I don't know if he's done with what he's reading or not yet. He frowned at me.

"What are you talking about?" he asked me emphatically.

"It's even more vulgar that your girlfriend can show off her body in her events and pictorials and the way you insult me, is just that easy." I didn't want to chisel my tone and made it insulting.

His mouth cried. Looks like he didn't like what I said.

"Eunice is far better than you. She's a model and I understand the kind of work she has."

It was as if I was slapped for what he said.

Better than me? On the sexy side? Yes, she is sexy but our bodies are not far apart. She's slightly chubby and I'm slim. When comparing to our boobs? I'll admit I'm a loser when comes to this. Because the size of my boobs is normal. Not small and even more so it doesn't look like a drum in size, unlike Eunice.

Or, in bed? I know nothing about it. I am too innocent to know who is better on us. Maybe she is because of the amount of flings he had been on actors and models. They shouldn't just stare at their condo where the paparazzi always see them.

I was bored with what I thought. Maybe Kalex was right, though I don't want to admit Eunice was much better than me. I adjusted my seat and closed my mouth. No comment.

If she thinks his girlfriend is better, so be it.

"You're quiet," he said. "Why? Can't stand the fact that your friend Eunice is better than you?"

I looked at him with narrowed eyes. Friend? Yes. Eunice and I used to be friends. We are not just only friends but more like sisters. We're good, really. But the wind changed when I suspected her uncle had killed my father. She was the first to leave me even though I needed her at those times. She distanced herself even though I wanted to talk to her.

We promised each other that after graduation we would join the modeling agency that we always dreaming. But I just found out one day that she already a model of the said agency. I felt betrayed by her actions and in an instant our long association was gone.

"Ex-friend," I corrected. He just shrugged.

"And think whatever you want. As if I care," I said before avoiding looking at him. I was out of the mood to annoy him. Why when if I am or he is the first to annoy it lead to the same ending. I am always the one who is getting pissed.

I could hear his deep sigh and I could tell he didn't want to speak again until we got to what he said, on heaven. I was literally stunned. Heaven is really the name of the shop he brought me.

He smiled when he saw that I was shocked. "Why? Do you think of another heaven?" he said teasingly.

I stared at him in annoyance. I kept looking green minded.

This shop is almost as big as the small building in Alta. On the first floor you can buy a variety of shoes and slippers. On the second floor, you can choose the design of the bags you want.

Third floor is literally heaven for me. There you can find almost the best types of women's clothing, be it casual or formal. The quantity I chose there was no doubt bought by Kalex. On the fourth floor are undergarments. I moaned when he actually accompanied me all the way. He looks bored as I choose bathing suits.

I just ignored him. He likes it so it's up to him to wait when I'm done. It was almost past twelve when I finished buying the things I would need to live in Kalex's mansion.

Even though I knew I wouldn't be in the mansion for long, I bought so many clothes. If I can't get away from him right away my first plan is to consume his patience and so his money.

My stomach is churning. I'm hungry. I thought we were going home to the mansion so I was shocked when the SUV stopped at a restaurant. We went in there with the two bodyguards we were with. I stopped walking when I noticed something not far away. I smiled when a plan formed in my mind.
