7 So This is what Lovestruck Feels Like

Watching her walk closer and how their gap minimized for each step she took; he stood still with his lips stuck in a small O-shape. The smile on her face showed an enchanting grin that was almost magnetic; instantly captivating him to her.

The golden yellow wig scattered randomly on her shoulders as the sunlight from the window shone on her dewy skin. Like a little sunshine, her smile and engaging gaze illuminated everything in her surrounding; making her the main focus.

Like those funny videos that people smile at for no apparent reason, his lips loosened the O-shape and stretched to a charming smile. Though it's only been a few days since he had said that he did not believe in love at first sight, he was already prepared to take those words all back. This was the first time he had felt such feeling when meeting a stranger and it felt weirdly nice.

As difficult as he sounded the other day about falling for a girl, it somehow became as easy as drinking water right now. When she was several steps away, he took his right hand out of his pocket and reached for the white mask that covered a third of his face.

'What should I say? I should be the first to greet her since I'm the guy, right? Damn, I should've asked Alan much earlier if I knew I would meet her like this! Would it weird to say hello? Maybe I should say Hi..more casual.' Countless thoughts exploded like fireworks in his mind as he tensed up from thinking about what to say to her.

Right when she was a step away, he loosened the mask from his face and slipped his tongue, "H..Hi.." The nervousness he felt was immediately taken over by embarrassment when she walked past him the next moment.

He could practically hear crickets in the few seconds of silence when she paused her steps and took a glance at him. 'Shit! I got the wrong idea...Oh, my geez... Need to save myself!!!'

His fingers smoothly adjusted the angle of his mask to fit on his nose bridge and his left arm grabbed Alan's collar. Moving his buddy backwards successfully, Lin Que hid his burning cheeks from her view and patted Alan's back, "Hitman Reborn!!!"

Flabbergasted by Lin Que's sudden action, Alan turned his head sideways to see that his reddened as apple colored cheeks. Finding it interesting, the corner of his eyes caught a glimpse of the girl in the Sailor Moon outfit. A smirk appeared on his face as he licked the left corner of his lips.

'Hoho, bro, I'm not letting you get away so easily...' Alan thought as he saw Lin Que's side winks for help to play along.

Of course, he understood it completely. Alan took the hand from his back and held onto the wrist area as his other free hand formed the gun motion. Facing Lin Que's shocked expression, Alan squeezed one eye close and the other opened to target that one spot on the targeted forehead spot.

"Bang! This shot is the deathperation shot." Alan then blew the tip of his index finger as if he had fired a shot towards him.

Lin Que blinked multiple times; he didn't know how he should react since he had never watched a full episode of that Reborn anime. Seeing how stiff Lin Que acted under her observation, Lily let out a soft laugh, "That's a pretty good anime."

Just like that, she left the two guys and continued to walk. Alan whispered, "Aye, not bad right? My acting~ Praise me~ Were you interested in her? You're blushing! Who is she? Do you want to get her number?" Alan asked many questions while imagining many typical romance animes where the guy confesses on the spot to the girl and the girl accepts.

As he blabbed more romance examples from various animes, none of his words reached Lin Que's ears. His attention was completely focused on that girl. Her gentle voice lingered in his ear and his eyes followed the girl. When he heard her lowered volume voice from a close distance, his head subconsciously tilted towards that direction.

His eyes widened as he recognized the person standing in front of her. 'That's the Tuxedo Mask from earlier...Are they a couple?' He wondered silently as he observed the way they interacted. Oddly, his pulse raced even faster when he saw the Tuxedo Mask person touch her cheeks and leaned forward to whisper into her ears. She blushed instantly, acting extremely shy that her ears turned red.

'Ah, she already has a boyfriend.' Lin Que inhaled and held his breath before exhaling deeply. He turned around and dismissed his friend's romantic ideas as he pointed to the Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask couple behind him. Alan's mouth dangled opened and shrugged, "Bro..If only you got her number a second earlier than that guy did."

"Doesn't matter whether I asked for her number because she already had a boyfriend. She was clearly looking for someone earlier and that person must have been him. We had the same outfits and we made eye contact earlier. It's alright, I'll probably lose interest after today. It's not like I'll see her again after today." He comforted himself with these words, but Alan could see that he was definitely struck by the cupid's love arrow.

"Yeah, yeah! Come on, we have some customers to attend to! Make me rich with your godly looks, will ya?!" Alan pulled him to the table where he gave Lin Que some tasks to distract his thoughts.

Meanwhile, Lily and Ginny were chatting happily on their own. When Lily saw Ginny looking for her earlier, Ginny didn't have the white mask on her face. She looked so handsome that Lily was deeply attracted to her look. Not only was Ginny's cosmetic and outfit perfectly matched, her voice also changed to a deep, hoarse one.

Ginny put on the mask after seeing Lily approach her. If Lin Que was a few seconds faster, then he would have seen Ginny's face beneath the mask, but he totally missed it.

Seeing how entranced Lily was with her cosplay, Ginny couldn't help but tease this innocent girl! She leaned forward and whispered using a manlier tone, "I kept you waiting, my princess." That line alone was enough to throw her off to cloud nine and blush tremendously that her ears turned red.

Lily playfully hit her from making her feel shy and hugged her arm to guide her to their table set up. She didn't notice how damaging this one greeting between her and her best friend had caused to a young man's heart.
