1 How Strong Is Copper?

You can't help but walk up to the bar, a little dizzy already. You have always wondered what it would be like to have someone that actually cares. You try so hard to make it into the bar seat without falling. Your name is Ruby Lace. You are not allowed to be in love, or drunk for this matter. And yet you are. You order a drink for the bar, knowing that the beating that you will get at home will be horrible. You have always wished for more in life, for someone to love, someone to hate, someone to think of as family even though they aren't. The things that you miss out on. You hate your life. But enough for this view. To the first person view we go!

Ruby

Life sucks monkey balls. Yeah, I know that sentence doesn't make sense but neither does my life so... YEAH. My name is Ruby Lace, the most unattractive person ever. Hey, don't pity me, I don't want your pity. What I want is to be free. My parents control everything and I'm a sixteen year old girl. I'm pretty sure I can handle whatever the world throws at me, cause after all, I'm not your average person. I am apart of a secret organisation, which is full of ninjas, spies, assassins, knights, basically if you can name it, this organisation has it. Me, well apart of the assassin and knight sections. I'm a blood-sworn knight, and a highly trained assassin. They aren't many ways for me to be normal at all. But my last assigned mission was to sneak my way into society, to last one year in the real world, and not my usual one, full of darkness and shadows. So here I am, trying to be a normal average sixteen year old girl. See, I have never been around anyone my age, except for my partner, Kuma Shoshi, but he doesn't really count. So I guess I need to learn somehow.

Benjamin

How had it end up like this? Endria looked at me, long lashes bobbing, as if she was trying to seduce me. My name is Benjamin Thomas, but most people call me Ben. I'm an average student at Noka High School. The girl I mention before, her name is Endria Delate, and if you didn't get the hint, she likes me. Like a lot. See, her parents are very rich, and now we have an arranged marriage. Now, let's be honest, my parents have said that if I meet a wonderful girl that I truly love, I am allowed to forgo the arranged marriage. So I can only hope that the love of my life would just appear right in front of me. But let's think about logically, there is no way that a girl that is so perfectly matched with me will just appear at Noka High School. Not a chance in hell or heaven. Which means I'm stuck with Endria, so someone pray for me.

Ruby

So apparently I got a gold class ticket to this school called Noka High School. Great, I actually have to talk to people. Damm, how do you even start a conversation these days. Walking into the school, I was very nervous. More nervous then when I'm out in the field, doing my work. I had finally found my classroom, don't even know why that was really hard, and when I peeped in, I instantly started scanning for my targets, forgetting that my mission was not to kill, be to learn. The teacher saw me at the door and opened it for me.

"Welcome to Noka High School. This is class 12A, and you will be with this class for most of your subjects. I presume you are Ruby Lace, yes?" I nod, as the teacher smiles at me, and beacons me into the classroom. I look out at my classmates for the next year, and wish instantly to go back to killing and serving my master. The students in the class look at me with curiosity and I felt a lot of the boys watching me, the girls not so much. What would the boys of this class what to do with me, an assassin and knight who is undercover to learn how you act. Honestly, when I said that to myself, I would have been very intrigued on why there was an assassin and knight in this room.

"Everyone," The teacher addressed the class, and they all looked at her. "This is Ruby Lace, and she will be joining our class for this year. So give her a warm welcome, and show her how we at Noka High School act!" The teacher finished, her voiced laced with pride for her school and love for her students. The students all grinned at the teacher, though a few stopped grinning when they looked at me. One girl sent me a dazzling smile, and patted the seat beside her. "Take a seat Ruby." She said with a grin, "Unless you want the boys fighting over who should sit next to you." I hurried over to the seat beside her, and sat down. "Hila Firtu's the name." The girl said offering her hand to me. I took it and shook it. "As the teacher said, I'm Ruby Lace."

Benjamin

The girl that had just entered the classroom was absolutely beautiful. I knew then, that I might have gotten lucky. Maybe this girl, Ruby Lace, would save me from Endria. There was only one way to find out I guess, right? Maybe, Ruby Lace, could be the one I fall in love with.
