5 New Personal Asisten

In the spacious room belonging to the President Director of Grahem Corp. was sitting a man wearing an uniform that fit tight against his well-built body. Samuel or familiarly called Sam, was doing his routine job, checking reports and signing cooperation contracts.
This morning like his cousin said, there would be a new Personal Assistant replacing the old Personal Assistant who he fired before.
While he was focused on checking every report on his desk, he heard a knock on the door from outside his room.
"Come in !!" Samuel said aloud.

The door was opened slowly and followed by a woman who looked at him with a friendly smile. His forehead frowned, when he felt that this woman in front of him was someone like he had seen before.
"Wait, isn't she the woman from yesterday?" thought Samuel.
"You !!! " Evelyn exclaimed in surprise.
Hearing her surprise, made Samuel's left eyebrow raised and felt funny with the shocked expression of the woman in front of him.
"How funny is that," Samuel thought but hiding the amused smile on his lips.
"Oh, you are the one who collided with me in front of the elevator, right?" Evelyn asked with her forehead creased funny when she saw the figure of the man who was currently sitting with raised eyebrows seeing her.
"Who are you?" Samuel asked in a flat sound. He didn't want to be caught that actually he was laughing at the cute expression of the woman in front of him.
"Get in, don' t stand at the door! " He continued exclaiming.
Evelyn could not hide her startled face. She forgot that she was still standing at the door. Fortunately, there was no one else behind her. She rushed in with awkward movements.
"Y-yes, excuse me," Evelyn said awkwardly.
She stood in front of a handsome man with a dominant aura around him.
"What do you need?" Samuel asked briefly and looked at her with a look of judgment. He stared every inch of Evelyn's body, which made Evelyn feeling uncomfortable.
"Um, I come here to sign a job contract, Sir. I was ordered by Mrs. Khalisa to come and meet the President Director in person." Evelyn replied
" She told me also that the President Director will explain what my job is, " Evelyn continued to explaine her intention.
"So you are the one, who will be my personal assistant?" Samuel asked. He hid his passionate tone instead using his flat tone.
"What a lovely coincidence," Samuel thought happily.
"Yes, I am, Mr. Samuel. " Evelyn said in awkwardly.
"I'm sorry I was impolite,"
She apologized quickly after she realized who the person sat in front of her.
"Oh my God, it's so embarrassing. How can I be so sloppy ?," Evelyn thought anxiously.
"Hm, I'm Samuel Grahem. The president director and the owner of Grahem Corp, a company owned by the Grahem family. " Samuel said proudly.
"You can sit down. We will discuss the job contract," Samuel continued.
"Fine, thank you Mr. Samuel," Evelyn replied politely.
She immediately sat down, facing the President, who was currently taking the blue map, her CV Map.
"Let's see. Evelyn Carla. It's the name correct?" Samuel asked and looked at Evelyn with sharp gaze.
"That's right, Mr. Samuel, " Evelyn replied firmly with her head nodded, confirming the President's question.
As Samuel read her CV, Evelyn glanced around. This spacious room was very elegant, complete with a masculine fragrance that made her unconsciously inhale.
"The room matchs with his personality," Evelyn thought.
Then she returned to focus, as Samuel cleared his throat for attention.
"Ekhem....I have read your CV. This is your job contract. Read it carefully. And you can ask me if there is something you need further explanation. If you have agreed with the written terms, sign it. Do you understand?" Samuel asked.
" Yes, I understand Sir," Evelyn replied and nodded her head.
Then Evelyn began to focus on reading the regulations company which were also written on the contract.
Meanwhile, Samuel was busy paying attention to Evelyn who wasn't realized that she was being observed by her boss.
For Personal Assistant, there were additional rules that made Evelyn raise her head. She looked at her superior, Samuel, who was immediately pretending to be busy looking at his documents.
"Ehm, excuse me Mr. President, may I ask?" Evelyn said fearfully. Samuel turned his head back to Evelyn who seemed to be disagree with the contents of the job agreement. Made his lips lift, but unfortunately Evelyn didn't notice.
"What?" Samuel asked briefly.
" Do I have always to be stand by everytime you needed me? " Evelyn asked doubtfully.
She was talking about the working hours that required her to work 24 hours. Reading again at that point, made her questioning if a personal assistant should always be beside her Boss.
"Then when will I have the time to take care of my mother?" Evelyn thought frustrated.
"That's the risk of being a PA. They work without working hours. They should be ready whenever they are needed by the boss. Do you even know what a PA exactly does?" asked Samuel coldly
"My apology, this is my first time becoming a personal assistant. I'm sorry, Mr. Samuel, " Evelyn said in regret.
Her ridiculous question made his future boss feeling offended.
"Hm, no problem. I will pretend that you've never asked me this question. Now everything is in your hands. If you accepted, you can sign it, but if not, I will not insist," Samuel replied coolly.
"Hm, what should I do?" Evelyn thought.
A lot of things went on her mind right now. She reconsidered this job because of her friend who already helped her to find her a job, and there was the hospital fees that needed to be paid.
She glanced again at the nominal salary, which was written in the contract. It was true what Riki said, she would receive more Zero numbers if she took this opportunity.
"Fifty million, that's a lot. It's ten times more than my previous salary," Evelyn thought with swallowing her saliva.
"Very well sir, I agree," Evelyn said eventually.
Although she was still thinking about her mother, but when she calculated again between the salary that she would receive with the debt costs, she was assured that all her debts could be covered by her salary. She had to take this job.
"Fine then, you just have to sign the contract letter. Then, it is done! " Samuel replied happily.
After the contract was signed, Samuel called his right hand man, Barly, to escort Evelyn to her desk.
After Barly and Evelyn left, Samuel returned to his work that have been delayed.
"Damn Riki, hide someone that beautiful," Samuel muttered with his hands busy flipping through the paper, and signing there.
Accompanied by Barly, Samuel's trusted right hand man, Evelyn took a tour in the company. She visited each division, from downstairs to the top. She also got a brief explanation about the President Director's personal from Barly. Evelyn just nodded and confirmed every explanation she heard. Before she returned to her desk, Barly gave one more secret information, which was not on the job contract.
"Every day there will be all kinds of women coming, please, if there are still other women inside, don't let the new ones come in. Do you understand?" Barly said in a whisper.
"Understood Mr. Barly," Evelyn said curtly.
"Hey, just call me Barly. It sounds weird if you call me sir. After all we're both subordinates. Take it easy, Evelyn," Barly said casually with a faintly smile. A cute smile that made Evelyn smile back. "Fine Barl, he-he ..." replied Evelyn chuckled

Barly hurriedly looked away, before his new female partner saw his blushing face.
"Oke, let's get back to work, Evelyn!" Barly said.
Then left Evelyn, who could only look at Barly with an astonished look.
"Oke, Thank you!" Evelyn replied cheerfully.
"What's wrong with Barly?" She muttered with shoulders shrugged indifferently.
Evelyn sat on her work chair, turning over the sheet of rules that really made her pattted her forehead in frustration.
"24 hours serving Mr. Samuel, will I be able to do it ?" She asked herself.
