9 The Engagement Day

The atmosphere in Asteria's house this afternoon looked so crowded and dazzling. Luxurious cars lined up on the street in front of the house. There were a lot of journalists who fulled fill the street. They wanted to capture the beautiful moments of the most wanted news all over the Kingdom of Wei.

The special forces of the secret service agents stood so firmly surrounding the house. They didn't let even a single insect enter the house. All the neighbors came to see the Royal family proposing Renny. Their voices did not go down with the sound of the police car's sirens.

A car with the Wei emblem on the cap came. A black limousine car. All the secret service agents opened the street so the car could be on time to arrive at Asteria's house. The other secret service agent built a perimeter to guard the King and Queen. They communicated with each other using a voice device in their ears. Standing tough to hold the wave of humans.

The King and Queen had arrived first before The Prince. They wore Royal attire, complete with kingdom attributes such as brittle medals on the chest. The King and Queen gave journalists and their people warm smiles and hand waves before going inside their in-law's house.

The journalists fought to memorize the event with their cameras and videos to spread the news to the world. The sound of camera shots could be heard shouting at each other so fast. Not only journalists from inbound, but outbound also was racing fast to capture the perfect moment of the Royal family's engagement.

"Long live the King and Queen!!"

"We love you, My King!!"

"For the Sun and the Moon of this prosperous country!!"

All the people yelled to their highness, and praised them loud until the King and Queen entered their future in-law's house.

After the King and Queen, the Crown Prince of the Wei kingdom arrived at front of the house and descended his car elegantly. His tall and well-built torso looked very tempting in his official state attire. Complete kingdom accessories as the crown prince pinned on his chest and shoulders. And there was a cape that covered one shoulder, maroon color with gold embroidery of their kingdom's symbol. The wind blew and his cape fluttered slightly showing off Jayden's perfect body.

"PRINCE JAYDEN!!" shouted his people. Jayden waved his hand to them.

Jayden stepped inside the house after giving his deathly smile to the pers and his people. A few secret services followed him behind. They were carrying a few boxes that were believed to be the dowry from the royal family to propose Renny Asteria to be the crown princess.

"All hail for the Great Sun and Majestic Moon of Wei." The elder who had been there before the King arrived shouted to greet the King and his Family.

"Long live King Jared and Queen Dyna. The Sun and The Moon of Wei. May peace and prosperity be upon us." All of the people inside the room including Andre and Violet bowed their heads deeply.

"Please lift, ladies and gentlemen," said King Jared, then he sat on the seat with his wife, Dyna.

"All hail for the Great Sun's son of Wei." The elder shouted for Jayden's arrival.

"Long live the Crown Prince Jayden Lennart, The Great Sun's Son," greeted them all with hands-on left chest and bowed deeply. Jayden walked through the nobles to approach his parents. Violet nudged Andre's hand, showing her husband how pretty their son-in-law was.

"Father and Mother," greeted Jayden with a slightly bowed head. After greeting his parent Jayden sat on his seat waiting for the next event.

"Good Boy." King Jared smiles. Dyna followed her husband smiling, but deep inside her heart was chaotic.

"Bring in all the dowry for the Princess!!" King Jared ordered Jayden's men to bring the boxes in.

Ten men went inside the room, they brought five boxes made from maroon velvet upholstery Inside the glass boxes. And then they opened the glass boxes with special keys, put the velvet box out, and with their print fingers they open the boxes. When the boxes opened, All the eyes widened and stared with awe at the wonder inside the boxes.

"Hubby, I feel like I'm going to pass out." Violet whispered, she couldn't hold back her emotion when she saw how beautiful the dowry the prince brought for her daughter.

"You think I don't? My legs were already weak since the king arrived." Andre gently elbowed his wife's body.

"Mr. and Mrs. Asteria please come forward. Before the King and Queen propose to your daughter, they will bestow the peerage on both of you." The elder allowed the Asteria couple to come closer to King Jared.

"Ah, yes." They both knelt before the King.

"Mr. and Mrs. Asteria, by the laws of the Wei Kingdom and our policy as the protector and leader of this kingdom. Asteria's name received the peerage Baron and Baroness. May you bring prosperity and wealth to your Kingdom, Country, People, and Family." Jared placed his sword on Andre Asteria's shoulder.

"I swear allegiance to God and the King. And wisely carry out the peerage I received for the prosperity and glory of this Kingdom." Andre and Violet said their oath after receiving the peerage from the King. King Jared put his sword back, and handed it to an elder.

"Good. Let us meet the future princess of this kingdom." King Jared sat back.

After the coronation ended, Jayden got up and gave the code to Alisha to pick up Renny upstairs down. Jayden walked under the stair waiting to hold his future wife. "Shasa!"

"Yes, Your Highness." Sasha immediately went upstairs to meet Renny in her room.

"Are you ready, My Lady?" Sasha held Renny's hand. Renny froze at the edge of the stair.

"Yes, I'm ready," answered Renny after gulping her saliva several times.
