"So, what did you go to the forest for today?" I ask her studying her reactions to the question.

"I have been here a long time, I would not betray the lord" the maid said confidence on her face. Mily's expression did not change or waver one bit. All of us that had been here for over 10 years knew how much we would get from the lord and his special condition.

"Traitors are put to death everyone knows that" says the maid very angry now.

"Well yes that is true unless you work for Terminus. He thinks a quick death is the easy way out so you will be blacklisted and die slowly" I tell her in a cold harsh tone. I watch as the realization hits her she has just been caught.

"Alright I was paid by the Duke Azriel to capture the maid that Lord Terminus was in love with, so as soon as I heard Daisy say that she slept with the lord and was in love with him I took her to the woods where two of his men took her away" the spy said looking down at the ground.
