5 Chapter 5_1

"Yafu..." A beautiful woman walked out from the group of women at this moment, calling out Tong Yafu's name.

Yafu was slightly stunned, looking at Pei Chuxia who approached, with an apologetic smile tugging at her face.

Because Ao Chi had suddenly appeared, she had completely forgotten about her good friend Pei Chuxia with whom she had come to the bar to revel. Damn it, Ao Chi, this guy was really a disaster.

"He wouldn't happen to be that husband of yours who 'can't consummate the marriage,' would he?" Standing beside Yafu, Pei Chuxia glanced at Ao Chi's arrogant figure and asked with a slightly provocative tone, a remark that made Yafu feel more than a little embarrassed. Indeed, a heroine amongst women, hitting the nail on the head with just one sentence.

Ao Chi's cheeks slowly darkened because of this comment, he clenched his teeth, nodded slightly, couldn't consummate the marriage, good, very good, extremely good.

Tong Yafu gently lifted her eyes to look at the man opposite her, noting the three distinct lines of frustration on his forehead, the corners of her mouth lifting in a faint, pleased smile.

"Let me introduce you, this is my husband, Ao Chi."

"Hello, nice to meet you for the first time, please enlighten me." Pei Chuxia walked with feminine steps, took Yafu's arm, and approached Ao Chi with a face full of inquisitiveness.

Ao Chi's mouth twitched subtly, his eyebrows furrowed deeply, and he swept a glance at Tong Yafu beside him without saying a word.

"This handsome exterior is decent, but to match Yafu, it's still a bit below her level." Chuxia, never one to mince her words, gave Ao Chi a head-to-toe assessment. "Don't you think so?" Pei Chuxia asked with a coquettish laugh, looking around at the crowd.

"Yes..." The chorus of agreement rang out neatly, darkening Ao Chi's expression even further.

Tong Yafu also began to feel slightly embarrassed; she was quite nervous about her friend who dared to say anything. Ao Chi was not a simple man, not someone to be trifled with so easily.

"Take all of them back to the police station." Ao Chi's anger was clearly on the edge, his jaw quivering slightly with restraint.

"How troublesome it would be for me to go to the police station. Since you will have to personally release me later anyway, it's better not to go at all," said Pei Chuxia flippantly, her tone full of arrogance and pride.

Tong Yafu nodded in agreement, not at all surprised by Pei Chuxia's arrogance, as she watched Ao Chi nod his head like pounding garlic.

There was no helping it, after all, Pei Chuxia's father was a golden olive branch plus a three-star general; of course, she had the right to be arrogant.

"No matter how powerful your backing is, you won't continue to be arrogant with me... Take her away," Ao Chi said coldly, his voice devoid of any emotion, his gaze sharp as he swept it over Tong Yafu with a warning in his eyes.
