EPISODE 26

                     "A WEEK LATER"

  I sat down on a sofa watching a fashion show, when Preston walked in with a package "hey quakka go put this on we're going out" he said as he ran up the stairs, I picked the bag up and opened it I looked at them then I went to my room to change my outfit.

A red crop top, black leather jacket, red waisted trouser, black cute Gucci sneakers and black bucket hat, it also came with a girls ri branded purse. I let my hair down as I curled the tip only I took like two whole strings on each sides and curled them to the front, I wore my hat and carried my bag.

I stepped outside only yo meet Preston's by my door, did he really wants us to wear the same clothes, because he was wearing all blacks and reds too, he looked and nodded his head. Let's go he said as he turned and walked down stairs.

We entered his black benz as we drove off securities went out with other cars then our's then more securities after us.

"We're are we going" I asked "am attending a press conference" he replied "so why did you bring me" I asked "it would be fun" he replied and opened a small box, rings were inside.

"Give me your hand" he said keeping the rings carefully, I gave him my hands and he wore three rings on my index, middle and pinky fingers. They are really pretty they all have love on them and they were tiny.

"Make sure you don't loose them" he said as he closed the box "it's pretty" I said as I looked at them.

"Yeah I know" he said "so when would you be back" I asked again "I won't take long" he replied.

"Do you want to stay in my office or be in the car" he asked, I weighed the taughts in my head, staying in his office would bring more attention, "I would stay in the car" I finally said.

"Fine I would send someone to you, you can order anything you want" he said.

We entered Into a really big company don't tell me he owns this, it's really massive. The car came to a stop at the entrance, he held my hand and I looked at me he brought my neck closer as he claimed my lips, then he pulled away as he stepped out guards covered him immediately the media already rushed to him but his guards were quick to push them away, he entered inside as he disappeared from sight my phone rang immediately.

"Iris called, it was a video call " hey mom"I said as I answered the call "you're with preston" she asked "emm  yeah but he left already, am in his car" I said into the phone.

"Wow baby you're cute" she said again as I showed her my entire outfit " I almost didn't recognized you"she added "thanks" I replied

"I heard his having a press meeting, hope you're okay" she said as she ended the call, I talked to kai also, but I didn't tell him where I was, we talked for a while before I got interrupted by a guard.

"Ma'am, sir said you should order up something to eat" he said "no am not hungry, am actually fine" I replied "he said you should" he insisted I got a text almost immediately from preston "order something" he sent.

"No am fine" I replied "you know it's hard for me to text you so come on order up something" he replied "okay fine" I said as I dropped my phone.

"Sausage" I told the guard "em ma'am sausages is just egg and cheese sandwich" he replied "okay anything would do" I replied he bowed and left, he came back minutes later with pizza and lobster roll and a bottle of chilled drink "I didn't mean this " I said surprised.

"Sir ordered" he said as he stood outside the car I noticed a lot of guards guarding the car I ate a little from it then I kept the rest.

   The press conference is becoming too long that I fell asleep, the rays of the sun hit my eyes like someone opened the door, I opened my eyes tying to adjust the rays, it turned out to be Preston.

"Did I took long" he asked "no" I replied "but you fell asleep" he said as his eyes landed on the packages "you didn't like them"I asked " no, I ate from it, I taught you wouldn't have eaten anything that's why I kept this once"I said as i opened the pack for him to see "yeah am actually hungry" he said even without touching it.

"Put the pizza in your mouth" he said "why" I asked "just do it" he said again "okay" I said as I put it in my mouth.

"Stop" he said and I stopped he brought his face closer as he ate it directly from my mouth, then he began to eat the rest as the driver drove off, but we didn't take same route back home .

"You want to go somewhere else" I asked "yeah" he nodded as he put on a bucket hat, "you would be needing this " he said bad he gave me a glass shade.

We got to a shopping mall, it was really crowded like it was partying inside, the car stopped as fans rushed the car, I was really scared but thank goodness securities them away.

"Put it on" he said as he stepped out first, he stood at the door waiting for me to come out but I wasn't really willing the door opened again causing me to come out, god knows I was shivering, he held my hand as the camera lights flashed on us, it was like my dream of been popular came to pass, we entered into the big hallway and it was empty.

"Don't take off your glasses" he whispered into my ear. Guards rolled in trolley.

"Do we have enough food stuff" he asked "why not buy more" he added "but we have enough" I replied "fine" he said as we walked to the clothes section

"Why not take this one it's pretty" he said as he removed a particular gown from the hanger, it was a turtle neck sleeve body con gown, if I ware this it's gonna jump I taught as I looked at the gown.

"So if you're not taking so what do you want" he asked frustrated. I went to the food section the doctor who talked about somnambulism said a lot of vegetables and milk.

"Am done" I said as I showed them to him "but those are for me" he said "yeah you asked me what I wanted" I replied "fine your wish" he said in a small smile

Preston didn't even paid "you forgot to pay" I reminded him "why should I it's my shopping mall" he answered as the guards covered us till we entered the car, we drove home.

  I ran upstairs to change my clothes, then I came back down stairs to make something for us to eat but preston already ordered.

"Why did you order" I asked as I saw the food on the dinning "I taught you were tired" he replied, I narrowed my gaze "I won't forget it again" he said cutely as I sat down to eat.

After we finished eating, he took his drugs and drank lots of milk after which he went to the pink couch in the living room with his laptop, I guess he was busy he put his headphone around his neck.

"Jollie" he called "emm" I said as I sat down close to him because he Pat the couch for me to sit.

"For you" he said as he gave me a pack, I opened it "wow, it's cute" I said as I held it. "A new teddy" I said excitedly "it talks" he said as he pressed a button "hellow am your friend make me yours, I love you" it repeats continuously, he got a call and I switched it off.

"Hey mom" preston said a little bit worried "I set up a blind date partner for you" she said, I looked up immediately. "Mom, we've talked about this" he replied "don't you dare it's tomorrow make sure you're there" she said as the call ended.

He looked at me but 8 looked away, then he put his headphone on his ear, I stood up as I wanted to go upstairs but stopped I stood behind him.

   I don't know what I said but my words found itself

  "Don't go I don't want you to go" I finally said as I walked upstairs, I got to my room and laid on the bed.

                 "PRESTON'S POV"

  I loved the way she smiled at me when I gave her the teddy but got interrupted by mom, it shouldn't be one of her tricks on getting me a girlfriend, I answered the call putting it on speakers because she just wanted to talk about stuff, damn I was correct mom set up another blind date partner. I saw jollie's Contenence change when she heard the blind date stuff, I tried reading the expression on her face but she turned away quickly, the call ended I taught she was going to bed already when she stood up so I didn't want to say anything. But instead she stood behind me "don't go u don't want you to go" it echoed in my ears because I wasn't actually listening to anything. My heart beat stopped as I couldn't continue with what I was doing, she already left but I still couldn't get myself for a minute or two......
