19 Decision To Confess

"Ah! It's this late now? My family must be waiting for me," Sofia said after the high tea was finished.

She had a million things to talk to her little sister about what she had experienced today.

This day she realised that she had to earn hard to become rich.

And for that, she had to study.

After taking some photos together, she posted them on her social media account.

<With my best friends>

In a flick of some time, the online people commented quickly the second they saw such beautiful five people together in a group photo.

Who could ignore these gorgeous hunks? One was prince charming and the other was a cute nerd.

None could be ignorant of not noticing the three beautiful ladies on the left. One had a look of the warm sunshine, one had a seductive charm, and one had a cold and aloof attractiveness.

These five were attractive in their own way.

They were given such a blessing by God today!

After spending some of the time together, Alec gave Zaria the work she had missed for the two days.

He looked at her warmly, but there was still some emptiness in his eyes.

She loved someone else who was not him.

'Ria's heart beats for someone else, Alec.'

If she was happy, then he would try to be happy, too.

"Hey, Ria, if you want Alec can be your knight. He is the most powerful in the class. He can protect you from all the ugly witches, dragons, and monsters, and let you be his princess forever." Mason joked.

They were thirteen years old. Mason just found out about Alec crushing on their adorable yet conceited princess of the group.

Alec smiled secretly and turned away, not wanting to let anyone see him smiling like a fool in love.

A girl who was passing by, had a nosebleed seeing the shy, yet hot Alec Williams.

They knew about her obsession with the stories containing fairytales, the good and happy endings, and most importantly, a faithful and devoted knight to the princess.

Everyone expected Zaria to giggle or smile.

However, she was serious and frowned, "No, he can't be my knight. I already have a knight I am waiting for." Then, a goofy smile cracked on her face. She had not told them about this secret knight of hers yet.

Alec felt strange. So strange that he could not say anything. Everyone felt the same as him.

"But, you could be my bodyguard who will protect me when my knight is not around. When my knight comes to take me home, you can bid me farewell off with him. Cherish me when I'm still here." Zaria winked and laughed.

Seeing her joking like this, the group laughed together. Alec was pacified and had nothing to worry about.

'So she was only jesting.'

Some years later, he would finally ask her to be his princess and he would be her knight forever.

At this moment, no one thought that she was telling the truth.

He could not be her knight who would be with her in broad daylight, but he could be a shadow, hidden in the dark like a shadow guard protecting her from bad people.

Whenever she would be in trouble, he would save her.

"Good luck with your love life, Ria. I wish you well." He gently patted her head with his hand. This time Zaria did not avoid his touch.

She smiled brightly at him. He was happy for her. He gave her his blessing. It meant he felt nothing for her other than friendship.

From the time of eighth grade she kept her distance as to not let him get the wrong idea.

She was wary about the way he looked at her.

A lot of people in the past said that they looked compatible together, and he would gently smile at them, not bothering to correct them.

It was nice and so nice that it was unbelievable.

He would never get angry with her if she did something wrong.

He would let her do everything she wanted, instead of reprimanding her. It was too good to be true.

Bidding Zaria a goodbye, they all left the place.

For another day, Zaria again took a day off from her studies to get a rest before she finally returned.

Days passed and passed.

Eventually, the day Zaria and her aunt had been waiting for, came up.

Ever since her son arrived from abroad, they did not give him a welcome party, so how about now?

When Elian was asked of this, he simply refused and shook his head.

He was never the person who enjoyed extravagance and spotlight.

Such profligacy to him was wasteful.

Zaria pouted when Elian refused to have his birthday party organised in the Anderson household. She was looking forward to it!

That could have been the best time to mark her territory on Elian, so those female wolves would dare not pluck up the courage to approach her knight in shining armour with ill-intentioned means.

These days, Aunt Amelia was perpetually visiting her aunt's house.

Since her son, Cameron and Elian were of the same age, Cameron suggested holding Elian's party in a club with a few of his friends.

Some of Elian's classmates who were in town were also invited.

Andersons did not know of this arrangement except for Cameron and his mother.

As for his mother, she found out from her unknown ways that could confuse people into thinking, 'how the h*ck did she know this much!'

Soon her knight's birthday arrived and it came so sudden that Zaria did not have time to prepare for a gift, as she was busy with her exams.

Her last exam finished on Elian's birthday.

In the end, she decided to go with what the people said on the Internet.

Ahem.

Ahem.

Ahem.

Some answers made her shy, so she chose the most decent one which was the most popular.

She went for the wristwatch. It cost her an arm and a leg.

It was an extortionate one, but she did not once pay any mind to it and bought it with all the money she had with her.

'I hope Elian likes it.'

This time, she decided to confess her feelings to him. The feelings she had been bottling up inside her, since her childhood.

It was now or never.

Her phone pinged. A message was sent to her.
