Ch 224: Reports

Now Aaron came back on the balcony and handed the drink to Sally. Without stalling she engulfed it down fast.

"That felt amazingly good on my stomach," she said, seeming more than satisfied. I just beamed at her. She is absolutely beautiful in every aspect.

Matt chuckled, replying, "yeah that's where the heat is being triggered close to the area of your reproductive spot."

Sally giggled adorably saying, "I know how it all works. I am a hybrid woman. Plus my masters' wives shared with me about their painful heat cycle. Of course, I just never thought I'd experience it."

I don't think any of us knew how to respond to her comment. We understood she was abused being with those old masters. It's not something I or any of us wanted to continue talking about.

"Why don't we get you some water," instead I made a notion and dropped the topic. "It might help keep your stomach cooled down."

Aaron took my hint and reached out, taking her glass from sitting in the chair nearby us. He got up to get her some refreshing water. He was gone for barely two seconds. After he returned with the filled glass. He sat the glass down on the small table stand between our chairs and then he sat down to relax.

I looked somewhat down to notice Sally was dazed looking at that fire that men and women surrounded. They were likely all single courting couples having fun together. Being single they can't mate or else it would be rule-breaking in our Kingdom.

"Who's having a fire?" asked Sally so curiously.

Nick suddenly answered before me. "Just some of the men and ladies that aren't married. The guys are enjoying the time off. The whole mansion is partying it up. Some are chilling in the pool, or they're hanging out in other entertainment rooms."

Matt chuckles saying, "I think it's just mostly the guys are up. Earlier I saw a handful of single ladies turning in for the night."

"Don't you guys ever sleep?" Sally questioned, giggling.

To see her giggle so brightly filled my heart with joy. I am glad she wasn't seeming to be in severe pain. Most of us chuckled at her cute question.

"We are known to sleep very little. On other days we sleep more. It Kinda depends but we trained ourselves to sleep fewer hours and become alert fast if we are in a deep sleep." I enlightened her curiousness with more knowledge about us Kingdom men.

Before she even had a chance to reply Matt chuckled. "A good deal of guys are going to be snoozing tomorrow."

"Isn't that the truth," Aaron said laughing. "I am curious what the count will be."

Matt said, shrugging his shoulders a chair space from Aaron. "I'm not sure, I mean it might be high. A good deal of guys turned in they're trying for a baby this moon phase. A lot of them are staying in this mansion. If they are successful, there will be a lot of pregnant women living with us."

I nodded to hearing this information. Since Matt never told me beforehand. Not that it was a big deal. I just didn't look over who reported it in that they're trying.

Yet Sally was baffled hearing the conversation and asked. "Why do you have to know that information?"

Hearing her speak, I answered, "because the process of trying to conceive an unborn weakens a hybrid man during the moon phase. The Moon Phase affects a man differently. So he'll need his sleep and then he needs to get himself pumped back up. Mating depletes our adrenaline horribly. That's why by code we take two days that attacking each other is forbidden. Taking a break gives the men two days to rest and regain their strength."

At first, she kinda rolled her eyes. "I knew that mating makes men more tired. But it kinda seems like there are a lot of rules with the Kingdom. The guys sleep with their wives during any other ordinary day. How do they report that?"

Nick replied, "well, that is true but the guys are just very prudent. On those other days, the men aren't as weak. I mean it still weakens us but we use adrenaline boosters to deal with that. It's just a system we have. We always need men ready and able to fight if an attack happens."

In the chair by Nick's left, JJ added. "The second reason why it's reported is for the safety of the pregnant woman and her unborn. The faster I and the men in my division know about the pregnancy The better precautions we can take to protect and care for the mother and unborn."

When Sally sorta nodded I then told her. "Sally, I always take into consideration that my married military men are going to naturally lay with their wives. Reporting it just gives me an idea of who I'll need to call if an attack happens. I have fewer Highest-ranks that are married anyways. It's not a huge worry because I always call on my unmarried men first for an attack."

I told her but she didn't say anything. I could see she was trying to stay focused on what everyone was doing at the fire.
