[33] Cutting The Dragon's Heart And Running Away With The Core!

When Olivia Forest left, Alberto Del'virmanos still went into a super lazy mood and continued to drink some blood mixed drinks. While his left hand was playing with the potion bottle.

The man seemed to have taken it as some kind of toy and studied it with interest. When afternoon came, he finally showed some movements and stood up from the coach.

"I am too tired, yawn~" He murmured as his body refused to move even an inch.

Even then, he knew that if he dared to be willful and took longer to relay this precious piece of news, his brother would surely skin him alive.

Alberto turned into a small bat and flew up in the sky. When the ray of Delta fell on his back, it looked like he was adorned in gold.

He flew beside a room of the Azure Castle and stood on the windowsill on his tiny foot.

The whole room was shrouded in mist, and the inside was dark. Others couldn't pry into it no matter how much they tried. But of course, the tiny bat was different.

'Hehe~' Alberto grinned and then stopped at a particular side of the window. He blew air, and the glass turned blurry. Then, he drew some incantation on it and the next moment, the glass became transparent.

Similar to the catwalk, he walked inside and the already transparent glass reverted to its original form. Alberto wasn't in a hurry as he sat down on the windowsill.

There was a bathtub in the middle of the room which had space for holding 50 people at the same time. His sharp red eyes stared at the figure who was seated in a lotus position in the middle of a huge bathtub, eyes tightly shut.

The man looked peaceful except his whole body was releasing tiny bits of electric sparks which illuminated the whole bathtub water and made the room misty.

Sizzle~ Sizzle~ Sizzle~

Whenever the electricity travelled through the water, it was making this weird sound.

A weird kind of sweet smell also leaked out from the man in the water, and it intoxicated Alberto for a moment.

'Who would have thought that he is a century-old virgin?' He licked his lips and thought with expectation, 'Brother, can I have a sip?'

'Not even in your dreams…' A voice directly rang inside of Alberto's mind and made him chuckle.

The man in the bathtub slowly opened his grey eyes and the amount of electric sparks coming out of him increased as well. The water rose above his body and a pair of hands formed. Then those water hands gently washed him.

Putting shampoo on his damp hair, rubbing his back… etc. etc.

"Cric, cric, sui o… '' Alberto cackled in his bat form and the other heard him silently, "Tsk, tsk, such a monk you are. Other nobles have five to ten maids to assist during bath and here you are, manipulating the water to wash yourself, sigh~"

Alberto shook his tiny head in resignation. He still remembered the eager young girls of the clan who were dying to become his brother's attending assistant who would take care of his meals, baths and other necessities. But what a pity…

Levin D'razure was unfazed until the other person stopped talking but Alberto's tiny body tensed up suddenly.

While standing up in the water, Levin turned sideways and asked indifferently, "Why did you break in without my permission?"

'Ahaha, that…' Alberto realised he must have irritated his brother just now and thought. 'Isn't it because brother has put restrictions on the door? That's why I have to come through the window, cri!'

The other person continued to put pressure on him and picked up his bathrobe.

'Brother, someone reported that a dragon had been killed and the murderer even stole his core…' Alberto thought seriously.

After all, young and weak dragons weren't allowed to step outside of the clan until they could muster the basic self defense. If a dragon was heard to be bullied, it would only tarnish the mighty image of the Dragon Clan!

The core of a dragon could maintain the lifeless physical body for a hundred years after its death, in lucky cases, it could be revived.

Levin D'razure's hand paused for a moment but then he continued to tie the bathrobe. He stood before a huge mirror and stared at it for quite a while. After the water droplets from his body evaporated completely, he finally turned to Alberto.

By that time, the tiny bat was pressed flat on the windowsill on his face, making weird noises. Only then did he realise why the other person stopped talking.

He minimized the pressure coming from his body and Alberto finally found his breath back. Right after, the freed bat flew up in the air and went to Levin. He sat on the other party's head, just like during the auction.

Levin D'razure seemed to be used to it. He walked out of the room in his bathrobe with a tiny bat on his head.

The man's firm chest and long legs were exposed. Alberto thought it was such a pity there was no female to admire his brother in this vast Azure Castle.

As Levin D'razure was walking through the vast empty corridor, he said indifferently, "That person must be an insignificant fellow. If the clansmen aren't troubled, so do I."

"..." Alberto knew the man would reply something of this sort.

"His core was stolen, such a disgrace. He could have sent it to the clan by 'that' technique. No use of talking now…" Levin D'razure added. By 'that', he meant some kind of forbidden spell.

Alberto Del'virmanos tsked as he heard his brother's indifference. But it made sense in some way.

There were hundreds of thousands of people in the clan and it was inevitable that someone would meet mishaps.

'But ignoring it… somewhat cold.' Alberto thought and a savage glint flashed in his tiny orbs, 'What a pity! I couldn't get to taste the blood! All the things got wasted!'

"Cough! Control!" Levin D'razure said when he heard his inner thoughts.

'I will try…' Alberto replied with misty eyes. His eyes were on the verge of closing.

Soon they stepped into a huge dining hall. All sorts of delicacies were laid on the long dining table in an orderly fashion.

Smelling the aroma, sleepiness vanished from Alberto's eyes. He left Levin's head and flew to the other end of the table. Then, he transformed into his human self and put on gloves.

When he picked up the lid off a dish which was before him, his lips bent into a smile, "It's my favourite Volcoplasma Pudding…"

Just that instead of spitting fire, the mini volcano-shaped pudding was spitting blood. A slight chill was coming from the dish as well.

Gracefully, he put a napkin on his lap and then picked up a spoon made of crystal. When he ate a spoonful, he nodded in satisfaction.

The other person ignored him and drank spring water absentmindedly. No food before him could attract his appetite at that moment.

Alberto was dissatisfied that he had to eat alone and wanted to see him worked up!

"Brother, it's said that… A mysterious thing was seen in the Wandas Ice Mountains. First, it looked like a meteorite, caused an avalanche and then… "

Alberto dragged out his words and took out the potion bottle. The remains in it attracted Levin and looked over.

"It appeared to be a mecha! It killed that dragon and… the time oddly coincides with Miss Van's disappearance."

After he was done, with an evil expression, Alberto deliberately threw the potion bottle on the ground.

The man who was drinking his spring water suddenly appeared in front of Alberto. He grabbed the potion bottle and vanished from the dining hall.

The playful expression on Alberto's face changed into a smile. He concentrated on his pudding and resumed eating it gracefully while pointing his pinky upwards.

"Delicious~"

Last night.

After Kayra had killed the dragon, she was troubled. With the system's help, she manipulated her blood essence and changed her eye and hair colour into dark black.

Later, when she saw herself in a mirror she was amazed at how changing colour could affect someone's look so strongly. She looked 95% similar to her past self.

After giving the Wandas Ice Mountains a last look, she turned around to leave the place in case somebody discovers her with the dead 'worm' on the ground.

However, before she could leave, Phiphi detected a thing which started to give off some kind of weird signal in that dragon's body. Because Kayra had yet to leave, it was able to detect that thing.

[Host, don't leave yet! Go back!]

"Why?!"

[The core! A dragon's core has spiritual energy! We should take it before we leave!]

Thus, Kayra had to go back and with a lot of disgust, she split open the dragon's heart and dug out the core from his massive heart.

She put it in Cardinal's space to avoid attracting other people with the golden leaking energy and ran away from the site.

The dragon's eyes reflected the image of her running away. At the same time, his body started to slowly dissolve into golden light particles and the absence of his core had caused this phenomenon.

Before his existence could be erased completely, Olivia Forest arrived on the site and secured some of his remains. The rest got mixed in the cold nature of the Wandas Ice Mountains.

The cold air was blowing away his aura while the falling snow was busy covering his traces.

"Roar!"

The polar bear lifted her head and made a screeching sound. The cubs were scared and snuggled together.

The mother bear seemed to have detected the aura of death from afar and entered her cave, expanding her size to block the entrance with her back for the vulnerable cubs.
