[15] FAILED TO LEAVE

Watching her smiling, the four men became awestruck and didn't know what to say in return.

Right after, Kayra nodded at them and turned around to leave, but someone grabbed her arm.

She froze while the butterfly earring began to heat up again. Before she could shoot the one who dared to grab her without her consent, a mellow voice rang beside her ear.

"Lady, I need to know your name. Please tell me before you leave." Levin D'razure whispered as he gently held her hand.

Kayra turned her head and asked with a frown, "Er… for what?"

"To compensate for today's inconvenience… my cousin will do it." After watching her calm attitude, he took back his hand and went to stand closer.

Alberto Del'virmanos also nodded his head, as if to reassure her that he would make sure to compensate her as per his cousin's words.

When Levin D'razure smelled the familiar milky smell from Kayra's body, his eyes darkened.

'A young virgin?'

This thought came to his mind first. Besides children, ladies with pure blood and occasionally virgins would have this smell.

Only extremely rich families who would treasure their daughters from birth and take extreme care had these kinds of ladies.

But as far as he knew, ladies having this smell was very rare, one in a trillion. Even severe maintenance couldn't let a lady have such a strong, pure, and fresh body scent for which many men would go crazy.

People can control and wouldn't carelessly release these either! For a moment, he wondered if she had any kind of motive to appear like this before them while Alberto was in a tricky situation. 

Kayra was unaware of Levin's mental predicament. She stared at the man's eyes with confusion. She had the illusion that the other person was sniffing her. On top of that, a conversation was already going in her mind.

'Compensation… Phiphi, should I ask for a job? How about I ask for money? They seem like rich people!'

Just one line from the system and all her little thoughts disappeared. She peeked at the man who was still kneeling beside Theo. When their eyes met, Alberto smirked like a lecher.

Naturally, earlier, Levin noticed her trance and guessed she might be thinking about what to ask for as compensation. He was waiting for her to ask something so that he could show her his mighty grace.

A powerful lady with a rare soul stirring aura, all men would fight to get her. Unaware of this matter and the danger, Kayra stayed calm and said her name.

"My name… Van." Kayra left this name and swiftly stormed off. She had no intention of meeting them again and getting assaulted for her blood!

This time, Levin didn't stop her and stared at her figure walking away.

A smile found its way to his face without his knowledge as he mouthed her name.

Alberto stood up from his kneeling position. He went beside Levin and said, "Brother, you must not fall for her. If the news gets out, it will cause a huge ruckus. Not to say you have an engagement contract..."

The smile vanished from Levin's face when the matter was brought up. His grey eyes began to shine brightly and soon, those two orbs resembled bright moons.

Alberto realized he had angered his cousin and quieted down to not anger him further.

"If I, the dragon lord, desire something, who will dare to interfere, I shall see!" Levin D'razure whispered with a threatening glint.

Alberto was puzzled by the odd behaviour of his cousin. Rather than a romantic feeling, his behaviour felt more like he was declaring his sovereignty for a possession.

Hearing the underlying 'meaning', Mr. Swine didn't wish to get up anymore.

Theo Glacior stood up and then turned towards the old man, who was shivering nonstop on the cold ground. He gave him a supporting hand. Mr. Swine showed gratitude with a smile as he stood up with Theo's help.

Levin D'razure glanced at his shadow knight and said, "Find her family."

"Yes, my lord." Theo Glacior bowed respectfully.

Mr. Swine went beside Levin in a hurry and whispered with a reassuring face, "My lord, what happens here stays here! Also, the auction won't start without your presence."

Then, he turned towards the three men and added respectfully, even though all he wanted was to flee from the scene.

"Lord Levin, Sir Alberto, Mr. Glacior, let's proceed to the main hall."

Alberto and Theo nodded, and then subconsciously turned to Levin. The latter didn't wait for Mr. Swine to show the path and used his spiritual power to storm off to the designed location.

Thus, in a flash, his figure disappeared. Alberto and Theo glanced at each other and nodded. They also disappeared while blowing a lot of air on Mr. Swine's body.

"Cough! Cough! My lord, Sir Alberto, Mr. Glacior, wait for me! Oink! Oink!" The man used his fatty legs and ran towards the main hall.

At that time, he had only one thought, 'Hope the delay will not displease the honorable guests!'

"Phew! Such weird people!" Kayra patted her chest and walked down the corridor. She glanced around and was relieved to not see any figure in the surroundings.

"Entrance!" She was delighted to see the majestic door of the Auction Palace and ran towards it. But at the same time, the door started to close automatically.

"Ah, wait for me! Don't close!" She dashed ahead, but her attempts were futile. Kayra patted the door and shouted, "Open! I want to get outside!"

Hearing her voice, the automatic sensors around the door got activated. A lion's face reveals itself on top of the door and a manly voice spoke out respectfully.

"Honorable guest, the auction has already started. Please proceed to the main auction hall."

"A speaking door?" Like in the past, she didn't become surprised. Kayra had figured out, that in this world, it's normal. She retreated and glanced above and said.

"Mr lion, I won't join the function. Please let me go outside!"

"Honorable guest, the auction has already started. Please proceed ..."

"Why don't you understand?! I don't want…" Kayra stomped on the ground, but it was of no use.

"Honorable guest, the auction... "

Kayra realized that the voice was an auto function. She shook her head dejectedly and turned around to go inside the palace.
