1 Chapter One: The Glowing Tree

As the sun rose over the small town of Ile-Ife in southwestern Nigeria, Ada went about her usual morning routine. She woke up early, brushed her teeth, and got dressed in her school uniform. She then went to the kitchen to help her mother prepare breakfast for the family.

Ada's mother was a hardworking woman who ran her own small business, baking and selling bread and cakes to the locals. Ada had grown up helping her mother in the kitchen, and she enjoyed the smells of fresh bread and sweet pastries that filled the air.

After breakfast, Ada grabbed her backpack and headed out the door for school. She walked along the familiar path to her school, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling town. Her school was located on the outskirts of town, near a dense forest that was said to be haunted by spirits.

As Ada walked past the forest, she couldn't help but feel a shiver run down her spine. She had heard stories of strange things happening in the forest, like glowing lights and mysterious noises. But she had never ventured into the forest herself, as her parents had always warned her of the dangers.

As she walked along the edge of the forest, Ada noticed a strange glowing light coming from deep within the trees. She was curious and intrigued, and against her better judgment, she decided to investigate.

As she made her way through the dense undergrowth, Ada saw that the light was coming from a massive tree in the center of the forest. The tree towered high above her, and its trunk was wider than any tree Ada had ever seen before. It glowed with an otherworldly light that seemed to pulse and dance like flames.

Ada was transfixed by the sight of the glowing tree, and she felt drawn towards it like a moth to a flame. As she approached the tree, she felt a strange energy pulsing through her body, making her heart race with excitement.

As she reached out to touch the tree, Ada felt a sudden jolt of electricity run through her body. She pulled back in surprise, but the energy kept coursing through her veins, filling her with an overwhelming sense of power and awe.

As she stood there, mesmerized by the glowing tree, Ada heard a faint whisper in her ear. It was a voice she had never heard before, soft and gentle, yet strong and commanding.

"Ada," the voice whispered. "You have been chosen. You are the one who can unlock the power of the Glowing Tree."

Ada was speechless, unsure of what to do or say. She felt like she was caught between worlds, between reality and fantasy.

But the voice did not give up on her. It spoke to her again, urging her to take up the challenge and unlock the full potential of the tree's magic.

Slowly, hesitantly, Ada reached out once more and touched the glowing bark of the tree. She felt a jolt of energy course through her, stronger than before, and she felt her mind expand and her senses sharpen, Suddenly ada fainted.

When she woke up she was in a new world.
