Chapter 1

FELICITY

First day of school after the summer holidays is always fun, everybody always has stories of the interesting places they traveled to during summer to tell. The whole atmosphere is bubbling with so much excitement and energy. A lot of couples were making out, most couples had to spend the whole summer away from each other and they were very wild about the resumption, friends are chatting and catching up on fun events but I feel withdrawn from all the fun and activity going on around me. My parents divorced during the summer but I would like to describe it as my mother dumping me and my father for good, I always knew she had eyes for her swimming instructor but what I didn't expect was for her to divorce my dad just to go be with some screwed up swimming instructor. My parents divorce wasn't actually the only thing that ruined my summer, I caught my boyfriend pants down with his cock in my best friend's pussy, the memory of that incident still makes me cry any time I think of how much I trusted both of them and they stabbed me in the back. "Why are you looking so gloomy?" asked Cortez. "I had a very horrible summer," I told him. Cortez was sought of my new best friend since Bella betrayed me, I have known both of them since I was a toddler, our dads are close friends and it naturally passed on to three of us. "Fill me in on the details," said Cortez. "You know everything, it is the same old story," I replied. "I know but talking about problems and expressing your annoyance actually brings a great amount of relief. Trust me, what you need right now is for someone to sit down and listen to your story," said Cortez. I spent the whole of my free time throughout the day filling Cortez in on details of how awful and disheartening my summer was and by the end of our discussion I was already smiling. "Thank you for hearing me out Cortez, I actually feel very relieved," I said while giving Cortez a friendly punch on the shoulder. "I told you it was going to lift your mood," said Cortez while rubbing his shoulder. I spent the rest of school hours avoiding Bella and my former boyfriend, Bella actually tried to apologize after the incidence but I have never been a forgiving type and I definitely won't be forgiving Bella easily for such an offence. the vibration of my phone distracted me from my thoughts, my dad was calling. "Hi dad," I said after picking the call. "How are you darling?" asked my dad. "I am fine," I replied. "I am calling to know if you want me to get anything for tonight's dinner?" asked my dad. "I don't think I will be needing anything much, just get some chicken, fish and wine," I replied, as I was trying to hang up the phone some random dude walked by me and knocked my phone right out of my hand, all my pent up frustration and anger came pouring out. "Hey, jerk, can't you see me, at least apologize for your mistake," I blurted out from annoyance, the guy didn't seem to take notice of what I said, so I ran after him and pulled him back to my locker side. "I was talking to you," I told the guy. "Sorry, I didn't take notice," said the guy with a smirk on his face, I could tell he did it on purpose, he wanted to see me lose my temper. I am quite famous for getting into loud arguments and throwing tantrums, you can't blame me for having such a horrible temper. The guy bent down and picked my phone for me. He hit the phone on my head in a manner that made feel like I was a child being corrected and he said "never lay your filthy hands on me again", his voice was so sinister that all the anger and confidence I felt earlier seemed to vanish into thin air, he grabbed my hand and pulled it off his jacket. I later asked around about he guy and I discovered he was actually a senior, what was I thinking, messing with a senior in that sought of manner could have earned me a lifetime of embarrassment but it seems as if the guy seemed to be nice enough to let it slide. I searched for Cortez and when I finally found him, I narrated my ordeal to him, he laughed at me a great deal and asked me for descriptions of the guy. "He is tall, very muscular, he has a long hair which is tied in a knot above his head, he has this very spooky looking necklace on and he has a tiny scar on his eyebrow," I said. "Wow, you know all this about the guy, you must have really studied the guy," said Cortez with a very naughty smile on his face. "Just tell me the guys name," I said choosing to ignore the taunt of Cortez. "You just successfully described Jordan Davis, the number one athlete and renowned bad boy of the school," replied Cortez, my puzzled expression showed that I knew nothing about the guy, "you are lucky to have challenged him and gone scot free," concluded Cortez. "He was the one at fault, I was simply trying to get him to apologize for almost breaking my phone," I told Cortez. "I will advise you to steer clear of him, the guy is dangerous," said Cortez. School hours soon came to an end, it has been a very long and boring day for me apart from my fallout with the so called star athlete and bad guy of the school. I met Bella on my way out of school and she came straight to me. "You have being avoiding me," said Bella. "It is not unusual to avoid best friends who open up their legs for your boyfriend," I replied in a very scornful tone. "I have apologized a thousand times. It was Tyler that started the whole mess, he told me you guys broke up at the beginning of summer," said Bella. "You should have confirmed the tale from me," I said. "I am truly sorry," said Bella in a teary tone. Bella always weeps when she is remorseful about something and the last thing I want is her tears, so I walked up to her and hugged her. "I have forgiven you, life is too short for me to start bearing grudges against you because of some boy," I said. Bella and I went home together happily, chatting until we got to where we had to part ways, I had truly missed her liveliness.
