Where am I Who am I why I am here I thought to myself why can't I remember my name as I was look around is this is a hospital what I am doing here?

The nurse walks in looking at her chart she's glazed towards me her eyes widen your OH MY GOD YOUR AWAKE I'll go get the doctor she ran out the door.

I'm puzzled on what just happened right now, why is it so hard to move my legs I can barely move them I'll try not move to much I don't want to hurt myself.

The doctor walks in with a surprise face oh my it's miracle that you awake this is amazing he smiles "why is that I asked with a puzzled face" well you have been a coma for a year.

WHAT A WHOLE YEAR I shouted what happened to me why can't I remember who I am, why am here, why have I been sleeping for a year what month and year is it?

Slow down there one question at a time the doctor said your name is Alex and it is November first 2035 also we don't know the full details on what happened all we know is that you survived a four-story building and no one saw you jump off on top of that no one was with you on the roof, also the security was puzzled on how this happened.

They checked the cameras and there was no signal at the time you were on the roof or any of the cameras also the police is looking into it they said they will inform you more when they contact you. "Doctor who called 9/11 I asked" it was your one of your co workers if he wasn't there in his car you would lose too much blood and died luckily he was there to call 9/11 Im just glad you made here.

"Why can't I remember anything" you have amnesia the doctor said but we don't know what type so we're going to run some tests to see what type of amnesia you have, I know it's a lot to take in.

Doc has my family check to see if I've been safe or anything "im sorry but non of your family members has once been here the only person was your girlfriend and your friends she's been here every single day she's on here way right now as we speak" oh alright.

He chuckles I'll have one of the nurse get you some food I'll be back later to see how you are feeling already I'm off he walks out.

Wow that was a lot of to take in I still can't believe that I've been sleeping for a whole year that's so much time that has passed by I wonder how all this happened to began with?

The door opens hi my name is Lana (the nurse) here's your food it's a sandwich and chips with water "thank you so hungry I feel like I can eat everything I said". The nurse chuckled anyone would be that hungry if they slept for a year. It's amazing you regain conscious after a whole year, she said, after you're done eating, I'll take your tray, I'll leave you to eat Lana walks out.

I wonder if my family even cares if I am in the hospital, or if any of my friends do I even have friends I wonder what I was like did I go to college or did I just work, am I ever going to be my old self I don't know anything I feel so lost thirty minutes passed by.

Lana (the nurse) walks in I can take your tray "thank you" of course how are you feeling "I feel lost a little bit if I'm being honest" why is that the nurse asked" well I don't know what's going to happen and I'm kinda of scared on what's going to happen next.

It's going to be alright "how is going to be alright has my family hasn't even once called to checked if I'm safe or anything " I'm sorry they must have been busy with work the nurse said.

Scott (the doctor)walks in hello then Alex how you feeling so far "Honestly I don't know I'm just trying to wrap my head about everything earlier". Don't hurt yourself like I said it's a lot to take it in just take it easy, by the way you have a visitor here "who is it"?

Yeah next month in December first is the anniversary then we'll be dating for nine years " I'm speechless I don't know what to say I just feel so happy."

How are you feeling Audrey "I'm really happy that your coming back home and that your awake" thank you for being here everyday I'm blessed for having you in my life "Audrey blushed of course". The door opened I got your wheelchair" sweet thanks Doc" not a problem alright now let's get you on and then your all set and here's your medication take it at 12 p.m for three month and we'll see from in there.

Alright I will "I'll see you in two weeks take care" ok I will thank you for everything Doc "of course I'm just glad that you everything went smoothly."

Bye Doc take care "would you like to go get something to snack on Alex" kinda of " what would you like get "what is there" we can go to the store and a donut does that sound?" Yeah that sounds great which one is your car "it's the SUV I borrowed it form mom (Audreys mom)" she let you use it.

"Yeah when I called her and told her that you woke up and she said here take it I'll be much easier for Alex and you when you go home I can't wait see him again that's what she told me"I can't wait to meet her again. "Audrey opens the door here give me your right hand "alright whoa that feels weird "are you ok? "Yeah it just feels different that's all" you can adjust your chair if you want it's on your right on your bottom chair."

Alright thanks "you ready" yup by the way do we go to college " yeah we do we're in the same grade since you were in a coma we're juniors. "Well at least we're now in the same grade now "Audrey chuckles Yeah" thirty minutes past by.

"You wanna go to this store here or near the house" one by the house since it's closer "alright cool would you like to listen to the radio I also have an aux if you want pick your own."

Sure we can use whatever you want I don't mind as long i'm with you i'm just happy "Audrey smile's alright i'll put on the aux here can you plug this into my phone." Alright I'll put the donuts in the back seat "okay Alex said" ready when you are "here we go" I'll put your wheelchair in the trunk then we're off. "sound good could you hand the donuts please" yup here you go "could I get a napkin I got some one my shirt" Audrey chunks here you go "thanks" what do you think "it's really good" that good.

"You wanna bite" sure mmm it's very fresh today " is it not fresh everyday" it is but it's usually I'll get them at a later time. "Ahh I see" we just take a right and then we're just about home" alrighty Alex looks at the mirror I think we're being followed as he said that the police turn on his lights.

I wasn't even going fast "I wonder why he's pulling us over" we'll see Audrey turn right and pulls over next to the curb.

The police walks up to the window ma'am do you know why I pulled you over " yeah for not saying hi at the donut shop DAD" no it's because I wanted to surprise Alex howdy I'm Bruce Audrey father. "hello it's nice to meet you" 'I thought you were gonna be home' well I wanted a snack then I saw you too so I wanted to say hi.

"You could of wait you know" well I you know me I wanted to be first well let's go to your house "alright Audrey said" Bruce walk to his car.Always impatient as usual I wanted him to wait " why is that Alex said" because I wanted to surprise him "it's alright" yea I know well we're home.

Dad can you help Alex since you wanted to be first "alright" his wheelchair is in the back I'll get the bag and unlock the door. Put you right arm on my shoulder " ok" there we go as we were going to the door I suddenly feel at home.
