Secluded in a forest of green, crackling of the flames beckoned her forth. Alone, she had no one to anchor from her destiny. She was lost in the fiery light, practically roaring in her mind. She had given her mind, and with it, the flame began to reshape her consciousness from how she knew it.

This was it. what she had been waiting for.

Ever so slightly, she inched forward until her fingertips gently brushed the iron-hot flames.

Echos from behind made her pause, at least, until a shadow burst from the growth surrounding her. With a masculine voice, it yelled: "NO!"

And with that, the nightmare that would become her destiny ended, and a young girl was jolted awake.
