Prologue

*Alarm rings at 4am

I can't believe it's actually here. Oh wait, I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? Me and my bad manners. My name is Jake Brown and I am a starting freshman in college. Today is the first day and the opening ceremony in the university I am attending at. Honestly, I don't really know how to feel about being in college. I guess we'll see when we start it out then.

"Jake come on over and have your breakfast", my dear mom yells from the dining room.

I come over and just before I entered the dining area, the familiar scent of my childhood favourite breakfast tingles my nose and my face could not hide my excitement again. We are having Bacon and Egg for breakfast.

As I finish up my breakfast and start getting ready, a thought suddenly crossed my mind, 'Will I finally be in a romantic relationship?'. It's weird for me to think that way suddenly because during my highschool days, I was known for being a study-holic. All I ever did was study. I know, it's not like my generation to be studying hard huh?

As I was walking past my house and headed towards the university, I come across this girl whom I have reason to believe goes to my university as well. Well, not really. I just love jumping into conclusions. Pretty weird for a so-called study-holic huh? Anyways, she was sitting on a bench on the sidewalks of the busy highways and as I was trying to sneak a glance into her face, she suddenly headlocked me for who knows why. I was really weirded out and thought to myself, 'Oh great. I made contact with a psychopath who headlocks random strangers. Great way to start your college life Jake. Great way.' When I finally got myself out of her grip, I tried to find out her reason for suddenly putting me into a headlock but she just left. Will I ever see her again?
