3 Chapter 3 - Jealousy?

Thinking deep.. As deep as the pacific ocean. I feel like I'm drowning in thoughts.. It keeps bugging me like as if I'm her jealous girlfriend..

But after a while, Raf was done cooking and was on his way to where I was. (mmmm! The food smells delicious!.. No! Focus Van. Remember what you wanted to ask.)

Took a deep breath and asked Raf,

Van: "Raf? Someone just called you while you were cooking. I think it was Kaye?"

Raf: "Really? She kept calling me since she broke up with her boyfriend. She's my bestfriend actually."

(Ouch! Did my heart just felt something? As if it was pricked by a pin!?)

Van: "Oh I see. I thought she was your girlfriend. Was afraid, cause maybe she would know we're together here.", calmly speaking.

Raf: "No worries Van. She's just a friend. You jealous?"

(Hell no! He dint say that! Why did he even bother to ask that kinda question?!)

Van: "Uhm. Ah.. Jealous? Why no! Why would I be. I just met you."

(really Van? That's the best you can say?!) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Raf: "Hahaha. Just kidding. You're too serious. Try to laugh a little.", then he got close to me and just smiled in front of my face. IN FRONT OF MY FREAKING FACE.

By the way.. I'm not the beauty queen type of girl y'all think I am. Just a typical, ordinary girl, brown skin, long hair, 5'2 in height, but I dance and sing a lot. And even Pat haven't seen me dance nor heard me sing yet. Hahaha.

Back to reality! 🤣

While I was trying to pull myself together, I told Raf to sit properly already and eat. So after that, I could show him a few tricks on how to make a cocktail with rum! Haha.

But as I was eating, he poked my arm and just fed me a calamari! He just place it inside my mouth, and I almost bit his finger!

Raf: "Easy now! My finger's not the food. Haha!" speaking to me with a tease.

Van: "Why'd you even place that food in my mouth all of a sudden?! I could've bitten your finger off!" felt a little pissed.

Raf: "Sorry. Was just being sweet. But.. Tastes good. Ain't it?".

(he keeps teasing me. This guy is.. Idk. I'm confused)

Van: "Sorry though. I was just shocked. I'm not used to this thing. Pat was sweet, but not this sweet."

Then out of nowhere.. Raf just asked me a very hard question.

Raf: "uhm Van.. Do you like Pat? Like not assuming or anything and not that he was the one asking though. Just curious. Don't you even like him a bit? A lot of girls like him you know and they're jealous of you. I see his inbox sometimes. Haha."

He glared at me and then he just removed his sight away from me.

(Does Raf like me??????) 😳😳😳

Van: " What kinda question is that? Of course, I don't like him. He's just my bestfriend. And he acts as my older brother. So I like his company. That's all.."

(But as soon as I answered Raf, I felt as if I said something wrong. But nooo... It was the truth.)

Raf: " Oh alright. Well uhm.. Can I ask you another question?", now he's speaking nervously. Hmmmm..

Van: "Okay. What is it?"

(Don't even say the words Raf.. Pls no..)

Raf: "I like you Van. The moment I laid my eyes on you, you were different. Your beauty's different and you move and talk so cute. You were so attractive that I dint care you were a little chubby.. Can I even.. Uhm. Well.."

Van: "spit it out raf. What is it you wanna say?", I asked with a little fuss.

Raf: "Can I.. Uhh.. Hmm.. Court you? Or maybe can you be my girlfriend? Without any doubts, I'm gonna make you the happiest girl in the entire world and in your whole life. I assure you, I'm not gonna hurt you. And if I do that, I'll never see or speak to you again.. Will you Van? Please? "

WHAT THE HEEEEECK! He said it! I'm doomed. He's the first. Idk what to say. I'm in awe and confusion, chills all over my body, heart pumping so loud that even Raf can hear it. What am I gonna do? What am I gonna say?! Wait! Calm down..breathe..breathe. BREATHE VAN!

Van: "uh. Oh.. Hmmm.. Well. I.. I'm not sure what to say or answer back Raf. You sure with this? Like what you're saying right now??!"

Raf: "YES VAN! I AM SURE! Now can you PLEASE answer my question! Can you be my GIRLFRIEND?!"

Van: "Easy now there Raf.. Hmm.. Nothing's wrong in trying.. But sure. Okay. I can be your girlfriend..

Raf: "Is this true?! You really will?! So you love me?!"

Van: "oops! Wait a minute! Haven't said I love you yet but..

Raf suddenly cut me off.

Raf: "There! You just said it! You love me! I love you more!

Van: "Hey I dint say.."

Raf: "ssh! I said I love you" 😍🥰💋

Then he kissed me on the cheeks then my lips!! My lips isn't virgin anymore! Hahah. Funny but nooo!!

As he kissed my lips, he moved it around as if he liked it.. But.. I also liked the feeling then I kissed him back. He held my face and pushed my face calmly away from him.

Raf: "your first kiss?"

Van: "Huh? Well.. Yea.. You stole a kiss from me! Crazy!!!"

Raf: "Well you seemed to like it", with a smirk on his face and his eyes locked to mine.

Van: "heyyy! Hmm.. Yea well it was my first. But yea, I liked it", I smiled sweetly at him.

Then he stole another smack on my lips again 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Van: "Hey too much! You're enjoying it aren't you?!"

Raf: "Hmp. Haha. Yea I really am. Specially for you my love"

Woah.. That made me feel tingly. But sweet 🥰

All of a sudden, I just said something involuntarily.. Maybe? 😑😳

Van: "*sigh. I love you my love."

Raf: "Did you just said you love me?!!! On your own?!! This is exciting. I love you the most my love!"

He just hugged and held me close to him.

But as we sat down, I felt someone coming.

It was Pat.

Pat: "Van? Why are you here? You dint text or call me that you'd be here. Did Raf bring you here or did you come on your own?", while gazing at me, then looked at Raf uneasily.

Raf: "I brought her here Pat. She's actually my girlfriend now."

Then Pat's eyes grew, with an unquestionable expression and in shock.

Pat: "WHAT?! This true Van?! You just met him awhile ago!"

Van: "Uhm yea.. It wasn't.. You know.. Uh.. See.. I just.. I'm just trying to see if I could be in a relationship. He's also my first kiss and.."

Pat:" What the heck?! You already kissed her Raf?! I haven't even.. *sigh. Nevermind!"

Me and Raf was confused. But it looked like Pat was mad. He just walked away and went in his room. Raf tried to talk to him, but he was tough to crack. He just locked his self in his room.

After a few.. Raf brought me home. We dint finish drinking though. But I brought home the food. Hihi..

Raf: "Sorry for the fuss awhile ago with Pat. Idk what's gotten into him."

Van: "Neh. That's okay. He was always that way. Just freaking out all of a sudden.".

(But I was worried about Pat. About what happened awhile ago.)

Raf: "Okay. Let's call it a day. You rest well now my love. Love calling you that. Haha! Iloveyou!"

Then he kissed me on the lips again. He's getting used to this alright.

Van: "Yea I will. Thanks my love!"

He hugged me and kissed me on the cheeks and left for home.

Had fun this day. Got a boyfriend already and had my FIRST KISS on the same day! But something wasn't right. Was it me or was Pat jealous?!!! Now I'm more confused!!!😳😣
