1 It begins

A small rustling sound could be heard as a small white rabbit jumped out of a tall patch of grass before starting to consume all the tasty clovers that grew in the meadow with vigor.

This was the rabbits favorite spot as the clover here was extra thick on the grassy taste.

Going nom nom nom it was unaware that a dark shadow was slowly creeping closer inside of the tall grass it had just left.

'Stupid furball so focused on eating you don't even realize death is creeping ever close' The shadow thought or it would have if it actually thought about anything else other then sleeping and eating.

Meanwhile the rabbit gorging with delight suddenly exclaimed with shock.

"Isn't that the legendary....Oh it cannot be..." It's mouth hung open as half eaten clovers and saliva sputtered out on the ground.

"It's the fifty-six leaf clover only said to appear every once in a blue moon. Grandpa said it was the very cloverest of the clovers and it's taste could put every other clover to shame and would e-hum, help with certain nightly activities." It would most likely have said if rabbits could talk.

Instead it simply skipped in delight towards the special clover, seemingly drawn to it's strange shape.

All of a sudden a large shadow engulfed all the light around the rabbit who was blissfully unaware of it's approaching doom.

Exploiting the rabbits negligent behavior as it approached its new target. The beast hiding in the thicket decided that it was time for it to get a meal of its own.

Opening its maw that could swallow the little rabbit in a single bite, joy at a successful hunt and full stomach filled the beast.

Inches away from the little rabbit it could almost taste its flesh and blood...sadly it was not meant to be as space itself seemed to be torn apart in front of it.

Jumping into a portal from the wrong side meant the beast was perhaps sent on a merry adventure in another world, perhaps even reincarnated as a strapping young prince or more likely it was shredded down to its tiniest molecule forever lost in the very fabric between space and time.

Alas if only this was a story about a random beast cough cough.

On the other side of the portal a young boy looking no more then ten years old stumbled out of it. Wearing a flashy robe in purple with strange symbols stitched on it with a golden thread. He would most likely grow into quite the heartthrob and even now make women with certain tastes squeal with delight. He did however make quite the sorry sight as he hurriedly threw himself to the side of the portal.

Shortly after the youngster had jumped to safety a great shock wave teared everything in front of the portal apart, followed by a great flame that dissipated as quickly as it appeared since the portal closed shut preventing anymore destruction to damage this poor meadow.

Everything was over in an instant and if not for the great devastation left behind no one would believe anything had just happened.

The huffing sound of the youth kneeling down and greedily drawing in air could be heard.

Alive!

It was really great to be alive.

As the youngster who was aptly named Richard looked at his small hands he started to do fist bumps into the air with delight.

While the rejuvenation spell had been a great success at least from looking at the result. The youngster was in fact a pseudo ninth circle wizard that was over three hundreds years old and very close to becoming a demigod. Now with his youthful vigor restored it would only take him a short while to becoming a true ninth circle wizard and then becoming a demigod would no longer be a dream.

Sadly, or perhaps deliberately the rejuvenation spell handed to him by Mordenkainen had seemingly been flawed to some degree, when he had just regained his youth the catalyst used for the spell had become highly unstable. He instinctively knew that the ensuing explosion would most likely kill him along with the destruction of his wizard tower.

Thankfully he had been able to escape and looking at his surrounding it seems that no harm had come to life or property.

"What do you mean no harm to life! I was just minding my own business and eating clovers when you came out of nowhere and made me experience the process of evaporation. Where is the justice, where is my special clover and hot rabbit girls. Grandpa avenge me!"

"Hmph, your just a lowly grass eater what about me? I was on top of the food chain and while randomly grabbing a snack I was sent into a meat grinder, this is clearly animal abuse!"

Patting down most of the dirt, the youngster took a quick inventory and was happy to see that his satchel was still safely hanging from his shoulder. With this he would at least have some money once he got to the nearest town.

Hopefully the teleportation hadn't gotten him too far away from his tower so with luck he should find out where he was shortly.
