1 Hell of a Night

The sound of a train going over the tracks just as midnight rolled around with distant lights and loud music blasting on the rooftop of a hotel hosting some sort of party. Things seemed wonderful at the moment but there stood a young man at the railing along with an empty bottle in hand. Away from the party starring off into the city. Just down below was a swarm of people all enjoying their evening which turns to night. All with their own lives. Yet here he was with a hundreds of thoughts running through his mind. Wondering how in the world did he let his cousin, his friends to convince him to come on a trip half way across the world. Where every street sign was a different language. Yet he still did his hair and dressed nicely for such a party where he knew people would be drinking and the bathrooms were never meant for urinating. Rather just another room to get high off your feet.

"You know standing alone like that usually just means you want someone to notice you."

A soft voice came from behind as the young male turned to face who it could've been, no one he has meet before until this moment yet from how she was dressed one could tell she often came to these rooftops for whatever pleasure.

"Naw not really. I just got tired of the noise and felt like truly being alone. But that isn't the case. My five minutes are up anyways and I'll just head home."

As he pulled away from the railing the girl had only stood in his way, placing her hand against his chest starting to feel up on him. With her hand gliding from the collar of his shirt slowly reaching down. Until a quick grab at her wrist restrained her from doing anything more. He grabbed her but not tight enough to harm her.

"I don't appreciate being touched like that. Find some other toy you can chew out."

And with that he started to leave passing by many faces he knew he would never see again, and there in the pool was one of his actual friends clearly shit faced, but it wasn't his concern. At least he believed it not to be. Walking through the noise, passing the lights he soon started to get dizzy. Seeing nothing more but laughing faces, his body seemed to grow weak and numb he glanced over behind him seeing the girl he spoke with a moment ago having a smirk played on her lips. A moment later and he's down for the count laying face flat on the floor yet no one bothered to check on him. As far as they know he's just another drunk passed out. Eyes still functioning he could see two men grabbing him and taking him outside as he was basically being carried out like a sleeping infant. Passing the crowds heading towards the elevators he could only see them closing as just behind the sealing doors was white dress but the face he didn't see.

"So.. you guys are like what the clean up crew?"

He spoke clearly with a slurred voice that of a drunk man. But he had only water in his hands. The empty bottle early wasn't his but some random person who asked for it to be held but hold an empty bottle for what?

"What you guys don't talk? I bet.. I bet if you let me go I could kick both of your asses."

The two men laughed as they were giants. Compared to this five foot and eight inches, a one hundred and sixty pounds with no major muscle mass. Fresh out of high school straight to college. Other than him working living the life of a decent college student.. that's a lie he hardly ever gone to class and yet here he is half way across the world from home in an elevator with two giant men. As the elevators doors pinged it's arrival to the bottom floor. The males head only seemed to finally give way to whatever had happened to him. He couldn't see only feel himself being dragged. What amazed him the most is how no one seemed to care.

He could feel the wind bursting through the doors. Cold and slightly humid it must have just rained or maybe there was some drizzle perhaps the oceans breeze with the hint of water linger in the air.

"Just toss him already. Stupid Americans never know when to shut up."

A thick Russian accent perked the ears of the young male as the sound of splashing footsteps could be heard and what seemed to be the sounds of an alley way. Hearing distant cars echo through distant splashes of water from the puddles left behind. All the end with a splash the sound of a body hitting the pavement with a small water effect.

To be left in the cold in a place you'll never call home.

What a wonderful night to wake up to.

"I think it's funny I find you in these kinds of situations a lot. Alex. Get up already this is no time to be sleeping."

A soft voice called out as she knelt down to his level gently patting the man named Alex. The cold wet cement seemed to smooth him as all he done was grunt and groan making that his only response.

"I'm going to give you five seconds to get up. If you don't I'm kicking you in the balls"

She soon started the countdown as Alex quickly sat up on the count of three. Smirking a little as his clothing was mostly all wet by now. He glanced over to see the friendly face he has known for so long.

"Come on Lion. Time to get up. Let's go home okay. You really need to shower first."

After what seemed to be an hours walk was only really a twenty minute walk down the streets to the hotel he had been staying in. Again same situation walking like a drunk man he wasn't sure what it was or what he did at the party to give him this effect.

Yet he stood there in the lobby mind spinning all around it was a miracle he made it to the elevator. With his body not heating up sweat pouring down him like rain he began to take his shirt off unbuttoning the half of it as he stumbled out of the elevator making his way through the hallway the lights began to flicker on and off the halls began to grow smaller and smaller longer and longer, soon he found himself running down the halls as both ends came closer and closer. Making it harder to breathe. For a moment the walls seemed to squeeze him and squish him until he felt the warmth of someone's hands being placed over his head.

"Hey. Alex? You alright there? Hey handsome time to wake up."

A females voice spoke up as he rolled over with sweat all over his face. Whatever he was on.. whatever he was given without even knowing he sweated out.

"Kim? W-what time is it? Where am I?"

Blabbering unsure where he even was as he was passed out in the hall way floor just outside of her room where she stayed. He was on the wrong floor. This being the 12th floor when he was staying on the 13th.

"You sir, are late for our morning breakfast. I thought you said you weren't going to party? Yet I think you are the only one to come back home without a hangover so I'll cut you some slack. Hurry get inside and take a shower."

With that Kim reached down doing her best to help Alex up from his nearly dead state pulling him inside her room as she had the water getting warmed up for him.

"Hey, hey. Wait Kim. I don't like warm water. I like the water nice and cool. Cold to the touch."

A quick eye roll and she began to freeze the water. Touching it now and then she would flinch feeling how freezing it was. Disliking the fake he enjoyed these kinds of showers.

"Okay whatever. I'm going to head out then. Don't be late alright. We are supposed to meet up in an hour but me and a few others want to get some nice seats so Alex please don't be late."

Before he could even reply she had already made her way to the door. Shutting it behind her as she spoke. What more could he really do. He only nodded his head as he stripped himself of last nights clothing, getting into the shower feeling the cold water touch his warm body.

He spent some time inside as his phone would silently ring in the background.

As he finished up he quickly dried himself off brushing his teeth with the toothbrush belonging to Kim.

"Sorry Kimmy. But I'm in dire need for some fresh smelling breath."

Being all dried up he did his hair very slightly. Not adding to much product but enough for it to maintain its hold.

Grabbing the clothes he wore from last night he deemed it unworthy to wear the same shirt rather he grabbed a shirt belonging to Kim which was a buttons up floral shirt. Passing enough to be a mans shirt, but at this point even if it looked like a women's shirt he didn't care.

Now off to a new morning which night still hasn't seemed to end in his mind. Time was on longer a concept in his mind. However as he looked down at his phone he could already tell. The time he was supposed to be there had passed by five minutes.

"Fuck. I'm late."
