After all, he did hear all kinds of chatter and conversation all over the world. 

He takes in what he believes important news and filter out the rest with his many consciousness working at the same time

There is not only thousands of conversation, there is millions of them of them talking and conversing. 

If they did not have such abilities to split their thoughts and sift through all the useless noise, the mind would be heavy and one could even be driven crazy with all this information. 

His hand is trembling right now. 

But it is not because of the fact that he is taking in all the information he got. It is for a different reason.
