In the class, Caleb sat in between Mei and Fatty, who were sitting on the seats on his left and right side. It felt like being sandwiched. It was Fatty who was mostly yapping about usual school gossip to him. Mei occasionally talks to him about 'Big events' in the circle of wealthy families and what gatherings they should attend. Although both of them were his friends. Mei and Fatty weren't close. They would greet each other at most but wouldn't engage in a long conversation. Why so? Well, Fatty's family and Mei's family are business competitors, as the businesses of their families were in the same industry.

Just like that, Caleb watched bored as familiar faces and unfamiliar faces of his classmates entered the classroom and started to occupy the empty seats one after another. Zhou was the last one to arrive. As usual, he glared at his way and snorted.
