'I can't even afford that, maybe a lower rank but it's not worth it... Do I really have to go with potential again?'
He created many skills after that but didn't like them. He could form S or A rank skills and get them but he had the points for a SS ranked one so he wanted to get the best he could. He also didn't want to Train; He wanted to get stronger without boring training... an idea suddenly came to him...

He sighed, 'Infinite potential and fast growth together are unknown and I can't buy it so it must cost higher than SS rank... Even the system can't put a price on it!'
The system could price Omnipotence, so why not this? The reason it couldn't price the Gamer's ability had to do with the fact that Ash had not defined a limit to the max level and since one couldn't become Omnipotent with it, it was not possible to put a price on it. Ash didn't know that of course...
'I am not being smart enough...'
He decided to go for a walk to cool off and then go back. He put on a simple outfit with a black cloak and left the Inn. He had roughly 10 million Jewels on him.
The sun was setting slowly and as he walked on the streets of Hargeon, he could see it slowly going down in the sea, it was a beautiful scene. He sat on the edge of a pier and looked at the setting sun, deep in thought...
'Potential is good but it may take years before I get there... I need the power to protect myself now! I also need to get more points in some other areas since I exhausted singing. The classic saving people by slaying monsters and being a badass wizard can work...'
'But what skill is the best? Something that makes me powerful instantly, has the potential to be upgraded, and is versatile...'
He looked at the emerging stars, 'Each star is a giant in itself, and yet they look so little from afar... A skill that keeps getting stronger as you reach closer to its peak, you can use it for many things so it has to be primal and you start midway somewhere...'
He suddenly smiled, 'Magic itself is all those! I should just get a skill to give me magic and learn how to use it myself... Since the system lets me keep the memories, I can exploit the system! Create then Learn tons of skills then recycle them and get the skill to be able to use all forms of magic! There is also another way...'
He grew confident as he stood up and hurried back to the Inn. There he began creating skills relating to magic, whether Holder or Caster magic, he got the memories of how the magic of Earthland he knew of would be used...
As he continued, he realized a few flaws that persisted even after doing it for many hours over hundreds of skills...
For example, what remained of Dragon Slayer Magic was the knowledge on how each spell was cast and the conditions of that with some basics on the magic itself, without the Dragon seed that the system created, it would be useless and that was true for all other skills of magic.
There was also another problem, every wizard had a magic that was in tune with them and other forms of magic would not be as efficient. He grew familiar with the concepts and general idea of each magic but couldn't use it even if he knew how since he was in tune with Light magic only...
'That's why the wizards of Earthland usually focus on one magic...' he realized and tried to overcome this weakness by manipulating the way he imagined the skills while creating them but it backfired in an interesting way, the price doubled to change his magical nature.
He thus decided to do something else, 'What if I put limits on the skills and separate magic in two parts? Power and my spells...'
He thus created a skill with it being limited to be used on Earthland only; He imagined having 2 active magic containers that absorbed Ethernano from the air at good speeds without changing its nature and letting it remain pure to let him cast any magic.

'This is good! I will have 18 million points for other things...' he decided to get it.
A burning feeling emerged in his chest and he clutched his chest in pain as some changes happened to his body, perhaps it was due to the pure part of the skill but it was something he was not expecting.
A few minutes past and the pain vanished, he was covered in sweat, 'Even the body manipulation skill didn't hurt but this one did! I have to be careful not to learn skills in the middle of battles as it could be dangerous...'
He focused on his body and instantly felt different in his chest, there was some sort of warm yet cool feeling there and the more he probed the more he felt it, it was as if he had a small ocean of energy somewhere there which he could control.
He tried moving it and suddenly, his body began glowing a dazzling golden color and the room began shaking fiercely, the entire Inn was thrown into chaos. The magic power could be felt all over Hargeon... Ash's magic power went rampant around his body, it felt like an adrenaline rush and it felt incredible as if he was surrounded by cool comforting winds in a warm summer while on high adrenaline.
He quickly stopped moving it and smiled, 'When I got skills on magic, I didn't try to move the magic... I did not expect it to feel this good! I also feel no limit to the amount of my magic power... SS rank should have given me a lot of magic...'
He quickly gathered his stuff and left the Inn due to the slip-up and left Hargeon in the middle of the night.
A few minutes after he had left, a bunch of Rune Knights had stormed the Inn asking if anybody had seen a Wizard Saint...
The next day, he bought a train ticket to Crocus, and there, he went to a magic shop and bought Gale-Force reading glasses at 120 times the speed of average; These would help him read 120 times faster than normal. He also bought a simple but durable sword.
He went to an Inn that night and created a few other skills... He made them with limitations due to lacking enough points...
'I need a basic form of magic that can help me control my magic power, Perfect control costs 30 million on my level so this way is better... I will create the spells myself after this trip so the price should be low...'
[Light Magic. (Technique only, No spells) Rank: SS Price: 4 Million Skill Points]
This let him control and use light magic and manipulate it, the magic that was most in tune with him since the magic power despite being pure had to be used by him still and the tune mattered even if it didn't negatively affect other types of magic Light magic was still stronger than others.
He could create simple constructs of light and move them around but he was quite clueless on what to do with them without spells, despite being awed by his new ability, he wasn't a warrior or wizard yet. He just had to make spells himself and gain some experience.
[Enhanced Physical Power and Control. Rank: S Price: 6 Million Skill Points.]
He grew much stronger, faster and his stamina increased by a lot. He could easily lift a boulder weighing dozens of tons above his head while being in perfect control of his power, this was average for S-class wizards. When Enhanced by magic, it would become terrifying...
[Sword Mastery. Rank: S Price: 3 Million Skill Points.]
He bought a sword to defend himself since he wasn't a real wizard without spells. He learned how to use the sword like a master as if he had trained for years in an instant, 'This system is way too op...' he concluded.
[Hand to hand Combat Mastery. Rank: S Price: 1 Million Skill Points.]
He didn't want to be helpless without a sword...
He also made a few spells, not for combat but very useful.
[High-Speed Regeneration.(Self only) Rank: S Price: 3 Million Skill Points.]
[High-speed learning.(Reading only) Rank: A Price: 800 Thousand Skill Points.] To use with glasses to learn fast from books...
[Absoluty Clean State.(Self only) Rank: A Price: 150 Thousand Skill Points.] He didn't need to clean himself ever again...
And lastly...
[Danger Sense.(Toward Self only) Rank: B Price: 50 Thousand Skill Points.] In case he encountered danger; Without being aware in the moment or while in sleep, he would know instantly.
He saw he was back to 0 Skill points and sighed, 'There are so many other skills I can think of but these will be enough... Let's go and make the spells!'
The combat skill and sword skill gave him a lot of confidence and changed the way he even walked, he got the ability to fight but since he had not experienced a real fight yet, he wanted to set out and experience it, he had a very strong body and regeneration so he wasn't that worried unless a mighty Wizard showed up somewhere...
His skill in combat and sword was like someone who had trained by himself in seclusion for decades in all forms but had yet to experience a real fight.
He bought food and things he knew he was going to need if he wanted to survive on an adventure and put them all in his big bag that he planned to put on his back. He also bought a new outfit, it was all black, simple pants and boots, a T-shirt, a long coat that the cloak would go over in case of rain or snow.
He was all set as he departed from Crocus. He didn't need points immediately so he decided to adventure a bit since he was plenty strong already and needed to master his current abilities before searching for more.
