CHAPTER-8

Alex woke up the next morning earlier than usual, he felt refreshed and his brain felt sharper and faster than usual. He sat up from the bed, picked up his mobile and opened the mail and rejected the mail of joining from Jaypee business.

He still hasn't accepted the job offer as he wanted to look for other opportunities. Now that he has got the Nanites, there is no use working for any other person as he can create his own Empire and do much more than any human being could have ever done.

He willed for the mobile to change into a watch and went to take a bath. After that, he packed some clothes and booked a ticket for Flemington city. That is where he will go, even though it's rather dangerous to go to big cities and do illegal activities. He checked his luggage once more, to see if he had forgotten anything. after making sure he didn't forget anything. He picked them up and exited the door and walked down the stairs for the exit.

As it was still early, his parents were still sleeping and he had already informed them of the trip, so he didn't want to disturb them from their sleep. He exited the house from the side door of the garage and opened the trunk of the car and placed the luggage inside the vehicle. He walked towards the driver's seat, opened the door and entered it.

He then willed and typed a message on the mobile for Angela that he was going for the airport and started the engine. He drove the car swiftly and reached the airport in an hour. The flight was at 6:30 am, he looked at the watch and it was already 5:45 am. He got out of the car, took out his luggage and passed through the security doors after he passed through them. He relaxed his shoulders as he was afraid of the detectors finding any abnormality with the watch as it's of a different metal.

He then walked towards the counter and verified his ticket by scanning the Q.R. code generated. It was very hassle-free and more comfortable to get your ticket checked out, by just scanning the code generated uniquely for your I.D. After that, he walked towards the security and luggage counter and placed his luggage and mobile in the track to be scanned.

After that he walked through the x-ray scanner and went to the end of the line to get his luggage. He then proceeded to make his way towards the entrance for the flight way. It was gate-way 55, the flight was going to be there. He walked along the long path and saw gate-way 55 and entered it. After getting his boarding pass checked, he entered the flight and walked towards his seat. He had booked a first-class ticket as it will take three hours for the flight to reach the destination.

The interior of the flight section looks classy and neat, and he walked in with a hostess tagging along, taking him towards his seat. The first-class area was empty except for two people. One was an old man who was relaxing, and the other is a woman of 30 years. She was dressed elegantly in business clothes, it seemed she had noticed his gaze and looked over and nodded at him with a smile.

Alex too reciprocated with a smile, for a second he seemed to have seen her eyes glint with feral while looking at him. He laughed at himself and shook his head, thinking he is getting too crazy. He reached for his A2 seat, which was at the forefront of the plane and just four seats in front of the lady and the old man.

After having him seated, the hostess smiled at him gracefully and left for her work. He sat down comfortably and stretched his feet and put on the headphones and switched on the telivision. He selected the Flemington city's flash news and started watching. That was when he found out that a world league soccer match was being held in Flemington city's biggest stadium.

After a while, the pre-flight announcement from Captain was heard.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard flight AF-77 with service from Old York to Flemington. We are currently second in line to be taken off and are expected to be in the air in approximately seven minutes. We ask that you please fasten your seat belts and secure all your baggage".

Alex calmly put on his seat belt and closed his eyes while he was looking through the information that the Nanites passed on after they absorbed the mobile. It seemed as the host; Alex can absorb all the knowledge from Nanites as they devour techs. He was looking through the many smaller branches of technical data from various electronics in the mobile.

Just with the knowledge, he can be considered a genius, as he can basically create his own mobile with the knowledge he has now. As he was in thought, the time moved on and the flight took off on time. After ten minutes in the air, another announcement from the captain was heard.

"Good morning, passengers. This is your Captain speaking. First, I'd like to welcome everyone on Airbus Flight Af-77. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 400miles per hour. The time is 6:45 am. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side, we are expecting to land in Flemington ten minutes ahead of schedule. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, sit back relax….

"What the!!"

Thud!!

Weird sounds appeared from the announcement speaker and it got cut off. It was then a scream broke out from the deck of the cabin startling everyone. Alex, who was in his own world was startled awake by the scream and peered over. As he was at the very front, he clearly got the view of what's happening. And it made his eyes go wide as saucers and his face paled.

The scream came from the attendant who showed him his seat. He remembered seeing her I.D., and it was named Anna Martinez. That young and beautiful lady was now lying on the floor motionless as blood flowed out of her neck dying her clothes in bright red color. She seemed to be still alive as her body was twitching ever so slightly.

He instantly became cool-headed as he then looked at his surroundings and noticed that the old and mature woman were not present in their seats. He then heard screams and noises from the back aisles, he instantly made a connection that there were more than two people present that had hijacked the plane.

With the Nanites' help, he thought of many scenarios and finally decided to act. He willed the Nanites to blend in and close the wound of the dying lady. As they are micron level nanites, they can clone the cells and stitch the wound back, maybe saving her life. But, a lot of blood has been spilt, even if the wound closed, she might not live until the plane is landed.

As he was directing the Nanites, he thought of ambushing the people that may have come from the deck, but he gave up on the thought as he knew he cannot defeat that many members by himself without using Nanites. And if he used them, it would be a dead giveaway to the authorities that would later check the footage from the black box.
