CHAPTER-21

Oppida prima, Angel Hospital, Private ICU room.

Inside the ICU lay Anna, the flight attendant who was saved from the brink of death by Nanites' use. After Alex landed the plane, she was rushed to the hospital in the medical helicopter and was put in the ICU since then. Due to heavy blood loss, her brain entered semi-comatose state, and she didn't wake up the past few days.

A nurse was attending to her, changing her IV drips when Anna's eyelashes trembled slightly. Then, her fingers shook as the power returned to her body slowly and her eyelids weakly tried to move up. Anna was still in a daze and felt as if her entire body was drained of blood and felt sore and painful, due to the pain she was feeling. She let out a weak groan and tried to move her hands, but her body failed to move as she was too weak at that moment.

After changing the IV, the nurse turned around and found the patient was trembling slightly and trying to wake up. She hurriedly put down the medical tray and immediately pressed onto the emergency button to call the doctors. Then, she put her hands on Anna's shoulder and stopped her from moving and soothed her with her calm voice.

"Miss, calm down. You are in the hospital. You are fine. Please don't move."

Anna saw some blurry shadow moving towards her and pressing her down, which made her even more agitated and panicked. She tried to open her mouth and scream, but she couldn't do it and felt her throat burning like it was on fire. Anna couldn't hear, see and move, she felt so scared and numb and started to struggle even more with that weak body of hers, when she felt some more hands holding her down and felt a prickling sensation on her arm, after few seconds of struggling she felt even more weaker and tired as her mind shut off and she drifted into sleep.

"Phew~~ you did a good job in holding her down and not letting her wake or she would have gone into shock with the pain and soreness she would be feeling," praised a male doctor to the attending nurse as he took out the needle from the arm of Anna.

"It was my duty, Doctor. Phill," replied the attending nurse shyly after being praised by the head of the department.

"Perform your duties like such, and you will have a bright future. I will leave her in your care." Doctor. Phill said and left the ward.

Just as he left the ward, he was stopped by some gentlemen. One of them said, "Good day, Dr. Phill. How is Young Miss Anna, our Master is very worried about her well-being"

"Very good news, Miss Anna has woken up from coma, but she was very agitated and weak. So, we put her back to sleep and increased her pain killers and medications. She will be able to recover from her trauma and weakness by the end of the day and will wake up" replied Dr. Phill while he walked towards his cabin.

"That's such a good thing to hear Dr. Phill. Thank you for taking care of the young Miss, and our Master will be pleased to hear this news. Then we won't disturb you anymore Dr. Phill." said the man and returned back towards the ICU ward.

He then dialed a number on his mobile and the call connected after ringing a few seconds. From the other side of the mobile, a deep and strong voice was heard, "How's Anna doing, Lucifer?"

"Sir, I just spoke with Dr. Phill. He said young Miss just woke up but was very weak and in pain, so they put her back to sleep and also increased her medicines," Lucifer replied his voice tinged with happiness and relief for the recovery of young Miss.

"Hmmm… It's very good that she woke up from the coma. I don't want any more accidents, have her secured at all times and have you found out about the person who landed the plane?"

"No Sir. NED is protecting the person's information, and I heard the person's profile is classified as S. rank"

"What? Classified as S rank?" The shocked and bewildered voice of the person made Lucifer smile slightly as he was also shocked when he heard the news.

"Yes, Sir. The source came from the director himself. He also told me not to dig into that person or we will face difficulties or something even more dangerous," responded Lucifer.

"Well, if the director himself said that, then stop proactively looking for information on the person. I was just curious, nothing much," replied the person from the other side of the mobile and cut off the call.

Toot…toot…

Lucifer heard the sound and shook his head, because from his years of serving the Master he knows he is a very curious person, and he will go to great lengths to satisfy his curiosity. He then instructed the four other members to stay alert at all times and left the hospital.

As he walked towards the hospital's exit, most eyes stared at him because of his handsome and manly appearance.

Lucifer had black hair, green eyes with a chiseled face and a straight nose, while a little scar ran across his right eye to forehead and with his well-toned muscular body, giving him a wild and charismatic appeal.

He walked out of the hospital and entered a black vehicle as it sped into the distance.
