YO! Author here, making my obligatory review as custom dictates. To all the new readers. finding this book. I welcome you! So then getting to the point, what's the story about and why should I read this? :In short its about fighting against Fate and 'Them'. To change the past, advance his 'plans' and ultimately plot the destruction of these 'ultimate beings' who purpose is to manipulate the Universe and control the lives of everyone in it. All for their entertainment. The MC is an emotionless, apathetic person who is determined to advance his plans, even if it costs him his life. A person who wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice an entire species, if it is of use for his plans. A person who had no bottom lines in his morality. So if you like a story filled with mystery and a greater goal, coupled with an MC who strives for this goal, no matter the cost. Then I think you will enjoy this story. (think of the MC to be like Fang Yuan.) All supporting characters also have their unique personalities and lives outside of the MC. In fact, each character has the potential to be the MC, therefore their perspectives, thought processes, and ideals will also be frequently seen. (you will understand what I'm talking about as you continue reading, which I hope you would!) ----------- Volume 1's pacing is a 'tiny-bit' slow, but I assure you every event in it is of great significance. (either for character development or for the latter parts of the story.) I know that my punctuations and grammar isn't the best in the first few chapters, but I assure you, it improves by a ton in the later chapters(around c20-ish?). Makes you wonder if it's written by the same person. Updates will be consistent with an average of 14 chapters a week. At lest 7, if I'm busy with school stuff. I hope you enjoy reading and would appreciate your feedback and support!

Very intresting so far, can’t wait to figure out everything thats going on. Love the MCs pesonality and how smart he has been. Would recommend to anyone who likes a cold blooded and clever Mc, while not being evil

I see the potential and think it is worth you trying it. It has not only entertained my interest, but it also hooked me - who has read 30,000+ chapters of novels, comics+200hours of shows - because it felt quite fresh and a properly written, defined, complete book [img=recommend]. And the stars I have given are not cheap, as this story really deserves recognition. So I will talk about this while in the most honest way I can express myself : It's a little rough at the start but the writing definitely improves. The story is proceeding in a defined direction, the events have a cause and effect at the same time veeery entertaining, while the characters feel like real people and intrigue me as well as make me invest in them- all of these make me invested in it. Grammar is relatively proper and only has minor typos, but definitely not a problem mind you. The power system is mature and definitely a positive point of the story. Regarding the protagonist, he is not evil nor good and not as simple as he presents himself to the other characters, and to us the readers. We will slowly unveil his past, the mystery of his origins, his relationships, and the future that he hopes to achieve by fighting against "Them". I welcome you to read it because while it is the author's first book, it is pretty great for the first novel for me and I enjoyed the story regardless of any criticism I had. It has kept me and my picky tastes. The updates are constant and applaudable too. For the author, good job and just maintain the story on it's upwards cycle! Keep it up! For other reviewers, read enough chapters first before giving a review so you can give an accurate opinion even if you disagree, and please don't impose expectations of other books onto this, as those and this are totally different. Try to see it for what it really is. Also. Don't! Spam! - It buries helpful and real opinions.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. The world is so intriguing and the story devlopment just draws you in. I would give this a 5 star just for that not even mentioning the best part of the book the MC. This MC is one of the best ones i have ever seen in a book. He is fantastic and so intriguing to learn more about. All i have to say is that this book is has been simply fantastic so far and i cant wait for the future.

Hello ^_^ Let's start with that i don't usually write a comment cuz i am too lazy :P But this novel is a hidden gem and now is one of my top favorite. My main reason for writing is because i saw that the support wasn't much compared to the quality of the novel (and also compared to so many trash novels that have a lot of views/reviews) :( The MC is smart and he does things while thinking about them not totally based on luck and stupid decisions like a lot of other MC's. The world bulding and side charactes are interesting and feel alive. I am not sure about the updates of the novel itself since i binge read it just recently :P As for the grammar part it is totally fine (except for some small mistakes here and there but they don't effect the reading experience, and it is 10 times better in grammar than a lot of other stuff around too) All in all it is a great novel and totally worth a try. My guess is that it needs a bit more advertisment and also to stack some more chapters (since a lot of ppl i have seen read the novels after they have been stacked a bit with more chapters) I hope that you don't get discouraged and drop this novel Author. Keep it up with the great work :D

Listen guys....this novel is amazing..but if your someone like me who LOVES novels..this one is going to be a no-go sadly... After the first volume it requires money to access the chapters..and if your poor like me...then it will crush your heart.. Well, goodbye author, thank you for some of the best times of my life. I just sadly don't have enough money to continue..

Love the story so far. The MC is ruthless but not excessive. His actions all have meaning behind them. I'm iffy about the love interest. I do not want a harem where the girls are okay with him being with both of them. no girl actually wants that. If this turns the harem route , i'll drop but so far its been a very good story!

Worry not new/old readers, as the book will be continued. The author released an announcement in his other series, stating that he burnt out writing this story, BUT will definitely finish it as he already wrote the ending. This announcement was written 5-7 months ago. This "indefinity hiatus" as he said, can be half, 1 or more years. So be patient. As his finishing words, he said the moment we see the book get updated, there won't be any more hiatus.

Writing quality : As far as I can remember, I fid not see any significant and bothering mistakes. Story development : The pace of the story might be slow for some, but you don't really see any blank spot or filler. Even the side stories bring a lot of information and life to the rest of the character, without being too much (generally 2 to 3 chapter). Character design : The main character (Lucius) is a bit flat and did not really evolve in character during the almost 300 chapter, but the rest of the crew (if we can call it that) really matured and changed significantly in a logical way, which really shows the contrast with Lucius in a good way. Updating stability : A constant 1chap/day rarely interrupted. World background : To rejoin with the story development, the main "pauses" in the story are for world background. Be it for humanity or the rest of the Universe, a lot of places, events, mechanics, stories had been teased or explained, bringing in a lot of depth to the story and making it, in my opinion, one of the novel I like the most ever. Continue the good work author! Thank you so much for this novel, and I'll continue pumping those power stone! I hope it will get more attraction in the future!

Almost perfect. Sadly I see a lot of grammar mistakes every chapter, spelling errors, missing commas or words. Needless to say, you can overlook those easily, since it does not impact the reading flow too much.

Writing Quality: simple and too the point, no unnecessary complicated words. Am no major in English but the grammar was alright and I saw no mistakes. Stability of Updates: not as much as I would like but there's no major complaint ,and the author stays in touch and notifies us which is always nice. Story development: pacing is good and the story never feels stagnant Character Design: one the author major skills is writing characters that aren't one dimensional. Each character feels significant and the author doesn't just focus on the main cast World Background: I love the lore and world building, am no sci-fi fan but this story manages to make me interested in it the more I read about it. Am writing this review to remind the author that he/she doing a good job and not to change a thing because of what ppl says THANKS

I really like the consistency of the story, it's well thought rebirth with actual implementations of the butterfly effect. the character is consistent and his growth and struggles can be inferred from the reading. the writing is much better then 90% of the original novels around. I am not bored by the cultivation system, I love how the implementation of standard xanxia assets like "weapon binding" and "soul weapons" are redesigned to fit the world building. the hint of mystery makes it even more appealing. keep it up you have the potential the next best thing on this app.

Interesting so far. I have only read the first few chapters, but what should I say? I am hooked. Mc's character design is pretty good. The setting is cool. Great work. Highly recommended.

Incredible, especially the MC, his personality is what most connects me to the novel, just incredible, I hope it continues like this, the presentation to the world is being gradual and well expressed also, exciting.

Very good novel, I am impressed with the main character, the best I have seen, but the romance part does not convince me, author-san I hope that if you do romance, you include kalor in it, She has been with him almost 300 years and she loves him so much, but if you don't, you better not make romance, take her and olivia, leave them both or just Kalor, but if you remove Kalor, I'll be disappointed. Think about it please. I love your novel.

Even though the release stability is low, i like the story, the character design and world background, not to mention the describiton of different races and abilities. The side characters are also closely descrbed and there are sub-stories about them. Because it's one of my favourite novels ill give it a 4 Star Update Stability which in turn should be 2-3 Star.

Hey author, I have to say that this is a book that went beyond my wildest expectations and it continues to do that. The characters arent one dimensional, side chapters are fun to read, the power levels of the universe most of the time make sense, the battles and powers involved are described in a beatiful way. The three things that I would complain about is the side chapters taking too much of the book, too much filler words and sentences with details that arent really necessary in the chapters, and the updating stability. Regradless, I am eager to see how far this book can go and I hope to be a force that progresses its growth every step of the way.

This story follows one Lucius who is a very indifferent person. One might think: "That's nothing new. I have seen indifference in MCs before." Right you are; however, this MC you can not compare to others. When I say indifference I mean it. The author constructs Lucius to be an all powerful killing machine who doesn't care about those around him only caring about his plan. In other novels you might see the MC not care, but in this novel it truly personifies indifference. And that weaves into what I said before about the way the author constructed him making him a character who does not disappoint. The world that the author set out is super expansive. The world has so much lore and history that it's hard not to like it. Sometimes you can tell when the author is developing a bit of the world without much of a plan, but that doesn't retract from the overall feel of the book for one simple reason: The author takes suggestions on how to manipulate the world. Yes, I said it. If you suggest something that the author deems good for the plot it will 9 times out of 10 make it in. If you're an active member of LoA community you'll definitely see what I mean. This is a change from some stories as the LoA universe isn't something set into store. It makes you feel as though you're apart of its development. Overall: It is a 5 start book. Don't get me wrong, this book isn't for everyone, but to those who do, it will be one of the best books you can read.
