Chapter 2 - Spirits seem unreliable

(BTW, to all confused readers, I changed Leonard to Leo to make it easy to write these chapters and so that I don't have a hard time.)

Leo having noticed a few new icons added beside his status screen.

Clicking upon an icon with what looked like a map. This appeared:

[Congratulations, player! Seems like your not that stupid after all! The Spirit Guide Interactive System has already been activated already for all players. Make use of it if you want to live. Well, no promises of course!]

After that message, a semi-corporeal fox appeared right in front of Leo.

It began to introduce itself by responding as such.

"Ah, hello! You must be the player I, the great Kram, am in-charge of guiding! You may great me as Sir Kram or Magnificient God or Lord of Guides Kram or the Great and Mighty Kram of the Grasslands!"

"Yeah, right?! To hell with that idea! I'm defitnitely just calling you Kram at most. Wait, I thought of a new name for you. How about *Shorty." Leo responded.

"F*ck you! Your entire family is made of shorties! You're the little one here! For your information, I am a 7th Grade Spirit Guide, not your regular weak a*s normal 9th Grade Spirit Guide!" shouted the little fox.

"Huh, and how are you different from others?"

"Tch, I'm pretty sure you don't know since your new but the higher your grade is in this world, the stronger and better you are at your job. For example, I, Kram, am a 7th Grade Spirit Guide, only two grades away from the top and am strong enough to use soul shocks of a level which could kill most of you players hundreds of times over.

Although it is unlikely that I will ever be willing to use my abilities against your enemies since your such a meanie!"

"Look, I'm sorry I said that but it was still partially your fault since you were being rather narcisstic in this horrible situation so can you show me the way to a safe zone or area and you can scold me later."

"Fine, but know that you won't be let off the hook!"

With that said, Kram guided Leo to a safe zone though not without trying to get him in trouble but it just wouldn't work.

For example, when Kram was guiding Leo down an alley, he used a bit of spirit power to grab and throw garbage at Leo but they would either miss, hit various things or just end up landing on the floor or hitting the walls.

What happened later was even worse as he ended up feeling a severe backlash and ended up being more injured even though he only used a small portion of spirit energy

which led to him looking even more incorporeal.

This led to Leo to comment.

"Huh, don't tell me you are just going to disappear and leave me alone because if you do, I'm going to spread rumors about you Spirit Guides being rather unreliable."

Hearing this, Kram's face colour changed from white to black and he just guided Leo to a safe zone miserably while scheming of ways to punish the unharmed man.
