Chapter 35: The manticore
Immediately Xander was dragged into the cave he Immediately let go and he rolled on the floor violently without control, leaving a trail of something being dragged on the sandy floor.
When he stopped rolling he immediately stood up, ignoring the pain he felt all over his body. He casted his magic flames and immediately, a big sized blue flame appeared over his hand and the heavy footsteps he heard slowed down.
The manticore stepped into the light and like the first time, it looked controlled as it swayed it's head as it stared directly into the fire.
Xander had enough of this monster, it has terrorized him and put him in fear for too long and it was time he ended it.
'With it distracted by the flame I can finally kill it.' Xander thought.
Two red swirling flat disk of energy floated behind the minotaur.
'It wouldn't be enough.' Xander thought and summoned a total of twenty chains ready to wrap the minotaur.
