27 [Bonus chapter]Chapter 27: The first challenge is completed: Title earned 'Warlock'.

The primordial bind works with his mana. Even as Xander was using it and his mana was depleting, he still felt that something was building up inside him.

He felt different; infact, he hasn't been himself since the day the game changed.

He couldn't figure out what was wrong with him or what caused him to change, although he felt that the answers were not so far out of reach, he still had a bad feeling about what will happen when he finds out.

With a wave of Xander's hand chains spurted out of the three centimeter diameters red portals beside him that looked like orbs.

The chains had a four sided knife and it was with the chains as the edge. They stabbed into four other mosquito men ten metres away from Xander and dragged them towards him.

Xander dashed towards the creatures that were sqealing in pain as they were dragged at visible speed and jumped, rotating his body and slashing the four creatures' heads in one strike.

*Ding!*

[You have killed level six Buy tyrant x4.]

[You have completed the first challenge of the cave of Serebus. Five challenges left.

System warning: Beware, do not trust those who smile and laugh with you, for they would be your downfall.]

'The fuck is this system talking about. As far as I know, I'm the only one in this damned place.' Xander thought, but then he was interrupted by the sound of the system.

[Due to your title 'Bug Slayer' you have received x2 Experience points.]

[You have levelled up to level six. You have received five stat points to assign. You have received one skill point.]

[You have received the title 'Warlock'.]

[Warlock: Even when facing an army of tens or hundreds or thousands, a Warlock stands tall. Even in the face of death, a Warlock smiles and never backs down.]

[<Your mana has been multipled by two times parmanently. You have received ten stat points to [Strength] and ten stat points to [Agility], ten stat points has been added to [stamina]>]

Xander couldn't at all believe what he was looking at. A while ago he had times two times normal human strength but just one title could improve his power by this much.

As he levelled up Xander felt relieved and refreshed as a chilling sensation spread through his body.

Almost like a breakthrough description in cultivation novels he read.

The Warlock title was too good to be true. Xander couldn't help but have hope that he could get out of this godforsaken caves and back to the real world.

He didn't even want to be in the game anymore. He wanted to rest and sleep but that wouldn't be possible for Xander as the creature's of this cave could kill him in his sleep.

The best he could do was to look for a way out of this cave and then back to the real world. He didn't even want to go back to his territory and burden himself but that's the only safe place for him in this world.

"Let me see and work on my status." Xander said and brought out his system screen.

[Inventory: 3 items]

"So far so good. I feel like some sort of super hero." He said with a smile but his expression changed immediately after to that of confusion.

'That's right. Superheroes don't get kidnapped and put into a cage of monsters as food.' he chuckled at his fate.

Xander looked at his status screen again and saw that his inventory, which was a dimensional space of some sort, had three items it was holding.

Feeling confused that the system didn't notify him of receiving anything he opened up his inventory to check.

As he opened it up, Xander's eyes widened with surprise, anger and hope.

He saw three things there, the first one was 1890 improvium.

'Hm. Seems like same items can stack.'

The second one was a weapon. Looking at it closer Xander saw that it was indeed a fine weapon but he didn't inspect it now and went to the last item, which was a red stone with a single carving on it looking like a rune.

Beneath it were three words, 6 life stones.

Xander facepalmed as he totally forgot the logout button which was these life stones. To be sure of the function Xander tapped on the item.

[Life stones: Can be used to leave the Sacrifice dimension. The life stone only gives you one full day in the real world and after then, you will be forcefully teleported back to the sacrifice realm, the location where you logged out.]

[Do you wish to use life stones?]

[Yes] [No]

'Do you even gotta ask?' Xander asked inwardly as he immediately tapped the [Yes] button.

Leaving this place would be a dream come true, it would be a good opportunity to revitalise and be in good spirits before coming back to this damn world.

He could already imagine the things he wanted to do with his six days of peace he was about to buy.

As Xander tapped the button, three seconds later another screen popped up in front of him and he felt like crying.

[You cannot to return to real life until the six challenges of the cave of Serebus has been completed.]
