i guess i haven't introduced myself, well my name is Adam i'm the only child in a wealthy family, my parents were both doctors they picked up covid-19 and few days later i found out i catched it up too, and you know the rest i've been in a bed for weeks now, both my parents died first and now it seems i'm in its last stage before death, and it hurts like hell even with drugs to sustain the pain.

I coughed out some blood but it has become a daily thing for me while lying in this deathbed.

The doctor came to check up on me, and after a few check up and pulling up my blood, hours went in the blink of an eye, i felt fine no longer feeling pain and i also wondered if they'll find something abnormal in my blood since the system clearly states i'm immortal.

"Mr. Frost, congratulations you recovered and it's a miracle, your blood results came back clean, follow me please" the doctor said and signaled me to follow him into a room where i cleaned my body so i won't drag the virus outside and infect some more.

After i was done, i found out they already called my family's butler Victor, he has been working for my family for years now, anyway he came to pick me up.

"How are you feeling Mr. Frost?" Victor asked while driving towards somewhere, i'm sure it isn't home since it's on the other way.

"I'm fine" I answered while keeping my eyes fixed on the system's panel.

I finally knew where we're headed to, my parents grave. I left the car and went forward to their grave and knelt and like everybody else I cried real hard then it spoke again.

I stood up and wiped the tears off my face and left the graveyard with Victor to my home, there I went to my dad's office and sat.

You know our family has a dark secret, and our generations were always doctors, you can guess what the dark secret is, human experiments yes exactly. I found out when i was eleven i strode around the house and stumbled upon a hidden stairs heading underground, there i found both my mother and father experimenting on a young child while screaming, my parents face was cold as ice treating the victim like a toy.

They found out later that I saw them and from that day they took me with them to the underground, they taught me everything there is to know of their profession, after years of being taught about my family's legacy.

Simply our family great doctor's success came from the great sacrifice we pay, our humanity.

I came out cold just like them. I no longer hesitated to experiment on someone to achieve something greater. Victor knows about our family and his family has been loyal to ours for generations.

And with the system now at hand, it fits the family business perfectly, so i called Victor to come.

"I want 20 down in the lab," I said, then he immediately left the office and I swear I just saw him smiling while leaving.

I stood up and went to the library and there was a particular book with the color of icy blue and with no title on it, i pulled the book out and mechanic parts could be heard rotating and a shelf split open revealing a staircase, i went ahead and the lights turned automatically on, this lab is using the latest high tech you could ever find and the underground isn't just a lab it's a complete base, everything you could possibly need when a nuclear war or something worse goes off.

I walked in the white corridor and and entered the lab, the smell was somewhat suffocating at first but you get used to it, i wore my lab coat and wave my hand then a holographic screen appeared displaying my latest work, it was about the coronavirus aka covid-19, i made some progress but not enough to come even at 10% cure.

I tapped on delete and a window came out 'are you sure you want to delete project C19' i tap on yes, and there it goes away. I don't need it anymore. I got something even better.

I can't wait for the Mall function, to see what kind of abilities i can acquire gives me this excitement~

"Sir they have been delivered, where would you like me to put them?" a man in a black armor with an MP5 with silencer hanging on his side said.

So i simply and coldly replied "bring them in here"

Then screams could be heard, some tried to run but were drugged to sleep, and hey they're not all children so don't say i'm a monster there are adults among them too.

The soldiers put the 20 subjects on the lab's tables and tied them and then left me alone with tied points hahaha…

Now how should I do this? Do i just kill them and get it over with or torture them before sending them on their way~

I wondered what to do, and decided to just get it over with, I summoned one of the soldiers and told him to give me a pistol.

"So how many are in the storage?" I asked while rotating the gun silencer.

The soldier's eyes looked cold while looking at the sleeping subjects in the room then said "15 elderly, 50 Adults, 101 Children"

I guess we're running out of subjects a bit so i thought of the perfect plan "bring me all the elderly and force mating on the rest, we need more children, if we don't have enough adults kidnap someone who'll be unnoticed when they're gone"

Then I walked to the 20 subjects, I kept my face expressionless and pointed my gun on the first.

Poh! Poh!

Then the next, and like that i finished them all, blood was running in the floor. I left the lab and sent someone to clean up.

That plague force evolution ability seems okay~

I purchase the plague force evolution ability, and i felt a strange refreshing feeling coursing through my hands, it gives me this feeling that if i focus my hands on any virus i'll be able to force into an evolution.

I heard footsteps when I looked. I saw the elderly and the soldier, then I told them to get them inside and after that I went in and shot all of them in the head, my shooting training paid off well.

I looked at my status and i now have 15 DPs, i handed over the gun to the soldier and left the underground, i went to eat dinner then took a bath afterwards since i clearly reek of blood, then i went directly to bed and when i closed my eyes to sleep i received a new task.

The upgrade Function is great, but what's the side-system thing mean?~

I Guess i'll find out once complete the task, and this one is sure to take a long time~
