"Our society is not made up of ordinary people; our reigning monarchs are important; they are not just people who can be replaced at any time, because we do not live in a democratic country where we can choose our leaders; in our case, their lineage is our hope," our professor explained. As his presentation came to a close, the light turned on. "For your last assignment, I'd like to receive a 1000-word essay about our lesson by the end of the month, okay?" I stood up as Natasha, and my desk mate poked me.

"Are you leaving early?" she inquired. "Yes, President Silver and I will be visiting their company for our final project as the Student Body."

"You have it tough," she said, smiling as I waved goodbye. I must arrive at the school lounge before President Silver. I saw President Silver as I approached the lounge. "I'm sorry for being late; our department is quite far away," I apologized sincerely.

"Not quite, I just arrived as well; it's only 2:15, no worries," he said with a smile. We approached the entrance and noticed his car parked there. "Hop on," he said, smiling. "Aren't you afraid of being seen with a low-born?" I inquired; my brow furrowed.

"Here we go again. Your status won't help, and I'm neither noble nor even a young lord, so don't bother making me feel weird." I chuckled, "Alright, alright."

We arrived at our destination after a 15-minute drive to the capital. Ramirez Construction Company, Inc. is one of the most reputable engineering firms in Ylury. Because they are élite, they ensure that their comments and output are also élites. They provide standard engineering services such as bridge construction, environmental consulting, renovation, and construction.

They have always been good at customer satisfaction and are environmentally friendly. As the guards and employees greeted President Silver, he led me inside. He reciprocated with a smile. I was about to enter when the guard stopped me. "Identification, please?" he demanded, glaring at the guards. "Don't worry, she's with me."

The guards were hesitant at first, but they still let me pass. "Let us go to Father's office; it is best to consult him directly," he said as he dragged me to an elevator and pressed the topmost floor. "It looks lovely," I said, admiring the interior. Silver held my hand, guiding me inside the building as other employees stared at us.

The incredible penthouse-style office greeted me. It is advantageous to be born into a middle-class family. I just got through it all with my brain. The president's secretary greeted us and directed us to a couch near the desk.

In turn, I thanked him. "Silver, you are here early; is this for your project? If so, I've already gotten permission from The House of Schwarzburg," his Father said. "Already, Father? Thank you! You know how difficult it is just to make contact and gain permission from someone in the Hierarchy; I hope to thank the Noble Lord of our Land someday."

"The House of Commons in our area approved it because it will benefit our land as well, especially for the unemployed; bother no longer, just make the papers and leave the construction to our company," he dragged me to an empty office near his Father's office and sat on the swivel chair. He invited me to take a seat on the couch facing him. "I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Noble Lord of the Schwarzburg."

"Why? Is it that difficult? I'd like to get in touch." He looked at me, perplexed. "How come you're in the Law and Politics Department and you don't know all of these?"

"I know, but not much; we're just taught about how the laws and the House of Commons work; we know the basics about monarchy and the royals, but how do they work?" I explained. "Let me clarify. Our Hierarchy has titles combined with the Reigning and Non-Reigning Titles. Our town is in the hands of a Noble Lord, his son is the Lord. When the Noble Lord retires, his son will get the title and the process continues. Below the Lord is a Knight, then a Noble, and the lowest of the Hierarchy is the Young Lord, they are Nobles but they still don't have their title."

"How do you know so much?" I inquired, intrigued. "Well, Elites or Upper Born, we learn them at a young age, because we serve them, while the remaining classes serve us. To sum it up, we're just serving those who are higher than us, and but overall, we're just doing this for a brighter future of our world," he added. It must be interesting to live in a different world.

"That's complicated, but I'm getting the hang of it; now, after your lengthy explanation, let's get to work on our papers; I still have a 1000-word essay to write about the society we live in," I said bitterly. "You still have work to do?" he inquired, perplexed.

"Unfortunately, yes, President Silver," I replied in a formal but dull tone. "Here you go again with your President thingy; why do you always refer to me by my title? Am I a prince or something?" He raised his left brow.

"It's just awkward, you know? Our status is different and stuff, like you said, we serve those who are higher than us," he said with a smile. "Not on my watch. Just call me silver; it's enough trouble." he remarked.

"Understood, Silver," I said directly, trying not to stutter. "Good Girl!" he said as he patted my head and complimented me. I am agitated. I have a lot more to learn. How is Theodore doing, by the way? Is he all right?

I am a little saddened by his partnership; because of all officers, why would he pair up with Leila? I rolled my eyes as I began working on President Silver's laptop, which he had lent me. Graduation is just around the corner, but we are still working on these.
