One year passed as Yami continued to train silently while completing few missions that came for him from time to time.

The war was not always large scale as it was mostly the combination of innumerable small warfare which connects and results in few decisive large scale battles. Yami knew this fact so he went with the flow.

He managed to gain may kill points because the enemies were generally weak but in time the points amassed and became a large number. He also managed to gain dead blood cells of Terumi mei and gained boil release and lava release bloodline after absorbing it. Mei was the daughter of Terumi Clan's head so encountering her proved difficult. Yami only managed to ambush her once after gaining information from Kisame. He had disguised as his math teacher from earth that time. She was together with more than thirty members but they could not pose a threat to Yami at all.

Yami's standing in Konoha increased as he completed many dangerous solo missions , assassinations and scouting missions. He did not forget to train and his strenght soared even though now progressing further needed way more time than before. The most credit should go to his time dimension because Yami took full advantage of two times faster time flow inside it.

Yami finaly managed to perfect his chakra control because of his daily training method of tempering his inner organs and body with lighting chakra. It proved difficult but daily practice solved the thing for him. Now Yami's body was so strong that normal weapons cant hope to put even a scratch on him.

Yami also gained metal release bloodline from one enemy. This one was very useful because Yami could harden his body to become harden than black diamond now after mastering it.

Yami now showed top jonin level chakra reserves to others and top jonin level strength while fighting. So he was treated as such by higher ups now. He became more and more famous and enemies started fearing him a lot more. Now his bounty was 55 million ryo issued by Kirigakure using black market. Yami was dissatisfied with the amount but had no choice to blame himself for this because it was his fault for hiding his true strength anyway.

Currently Yami was heading towards the location of Might Gai and his team feeling excited because he had recieced their distress signal. Yami knew that seven mist swordsmen had invaded land of fire from Kisame so he immediately put the dots together. He had no doubt that Dai would fight seven swordsmen alone now. Yami was excited because he could finaly obtain Hozuki bloodline from Hozuki Mangetsu who was the leader of current seven mist swordsmen. He had no luck with this bloodline until now so of course he was feeling excited. The ability to turn your body into water element at will was too awesome to ignore after all.

Yami finaly arrived at the mountain forest from where the distress signal came from and clenched his fist in excitement because he could see Gai, Enma and Ebisu. They were his classmates so Yami could not mistake them for anyone else besides the weird eyebrows and green jumpsuit of Gai was too eye catching anyway.

Yami frowned a little because he could feel the bloodlust of seven mist swordsmen and Dai's chakra signature. It meant that Dai may activate his 8th Gate anytime and Yami could not let him die.

So Yami ignored Gai and his team and immediately used swift release body Flicker at full speed and reached the battlefield in almost an instant.

" Oh.. this speed and sunglasses. You are Konoha's Flash Reaper, right? Kekeke.. I will explode your head with my Shibuki."

Yami ignored the ugly guy and his grin because his sword filled with explosive tags was just a toy for him now.

" You must be Might Dai san. Hello sir my name is Nakamura Yami and I'm your son's classmate. "

" Oh.. So my son has such a youthful classmate like the Flash reaper? Hahaha.. "

Yami lazily covered his hears but the youthful guy before him was too loud.

" Dai san, open the 7th gate and let's show these bastards the power of youth of Konoha."

Yami yelled feeling little excited because he had just now decided to display his eight gates technique for first time in front of others too.

" 7th Gate of Gate of Wonder . Open." Yami buckled up and shouted furiously.

Suddenly blue sweat started secreting out of Yami's body and his hair stood like a saiyans. Power aura exploded from his body and the ground around him started cracking at insane pace. His blue sweat evaporated from his body heat and aura and could be mistaken for chakra right now.

" How? Yami kun, you also know how to use my youthful technique? and you opened the seventh gate straight. Haha.. what a great youth ! Six Gate of View Open. Seventh Gate of Wonder Open. "

The ground under Dai also exploded but the impact was weaker than Yami's. Of course it would be because Yami's body is too much stronger compared to Dai's after all.

" Kakaka.. Two manly dudes at the same time. I will cut your heads myself Kakaka.."

Yami rose his brow and looked at the speaker who was the owner of Kiba. He seemed to remember her from the fourth ninja war but forgot her name. Yami grinned and decided to start from her then.

Yami kicked the ground and huge explosion occured from the sheer force while he arrived before her who was standing more than ninety metres away in an instant.

" Strong fist style - Thrust cannon "

Yami simply put all his body power into his tight fist and punched at lightning fast speed in front of her face.

Yami did not even take two seconds to finish her off from the time he started rushing at her. Her head exploded from his punch and Yami's face was smothered with fresh blood and disgusting brain fragments but Yami did not need to wash it off because they evaporated immediately after coming in contact with his insanely hot blue aura..

The rest of six swordsmen could not move their legs from fear while they looked at Yami's grin. He looked like a blue Grim reaper in their eyes. They could swear that they had not felt such fear in their whole lives. Even Dai was shocked and he could not even shout youth because Yami's power was way beyond the one he could exert after 7th gate. In fact Dai wasn't sure if he could match it even after opening the 8th Gate of Death..
