Yam decided to return to the base camp after three days. He actually spent six days inside his time dimension and completely focused on his body and reflexes training. Shadow clone jutsu was just too useful as he could never run out of training partners.

His chakra also increased by a lot after his body finished absorbing the Hoshikagi bloodline. Now it was already halfway through mid super kage level. Yami was feeling excited about this because after top super Kage, his chakra would reach tailed beast level which meant it would be vast as an ocean.

His strenght would break through to mid Kage level soon. Yami was satisfied with his fast progress and now could not help but feel allure of super bloodlines because he could increase his chakra reserves potential to insane levels after absorbing them. Now his priority was to gain more and more kill points because he wanted to purify his Hoshigaki bloodline completely and others too which he would gain in future. Yami would absorb and purify Hyuga bloodline too if he knew how to evolve it to tenseigan. That power was bad ass from the movie after all.

Yami came out from his time dimension and teleported to the mark near the base camp using Flying Thunder god. This jutsu was too convenient for long range travels. Yami wanted to reveal it to others when he became at least twelve years old because now he was too young and others would die of shock if he told them now. 12 years old was also very young but Yami could not wait any more that because it was a drag to continue hiding it all the time.

After running for few minutes , Yami returned to the base and was greeted by Uchiha Akira who seemed to be on patrol duty today.

" Captain Yami,you have finaly returned. Hehe.. The elite jonin captains were shocked when your intel was recieved by Orochimaru san in front of them. I was also present because it was the weekly meeting then. I still feel hilarious when I remember the shocked face of Hyuga Hizashi from back then. "

Yami continued to stare at Akira with a lazy expression because what does he have to do with Akira feeling happy anyway? Hizashi was one of the elite jonin captains on this battle front and Hiashi the Hyuga clan leader was sent to the front with Kumogakure. Now Konoha could not hope to reserve their forces as they were at war with four Great villages at the same time. So even main clan members were forced to participate. Yami could not care less about them anyway because they were being arrogant and used their branch clan members as fodder.

Yami sighed because Akira was showing no signs of stopping talking shit so he chose to ignore him instead and went inside the base camp.

He was surprised when he found other two members of his genin team there. Yami did not think that Asuma and Kurenai would be allowed to already experience the battlefield. After all Kurenai's dad was an elite jonin and had some authority while Asuma's dad was the third Hokage himself. Yami thought that they would be only allowed after passing the emergency chunin exam held inside the village.

Asuma and Kurenai were stunned and did not know what to say when they saw their teammate after so long. Yami was confused by their reaction because they could at least greet him back even though their relationship could not be called at the level of friendship yet.

Yami had no idea that how much fame he had gotten already. His deeds have been spread back to Konoha and even many civilians knew about him now. Asuma and Kurenai would naturally feel awkward because their teammate had suddenly bloomed his talent at the battlefield. Yami had no idea that both of them stubbornly protested to their parents before they were allowed to join battlefield. They wanted to gain experience and catch up to Yami.

If Yami knew then he would just laugh at their stupidity because they were too weak to even serve as proper cannon fodder in this war yet. What gaining experience? They would die from a sudden ambush instantly instead. The fact that they were sent to Kiri battlefield was the proof of their weakness because the Hokage must have assigned them here because there would be no large scale battles here for the time being.

Some mid scale battles would be fought but they would not include many genins in their ranks. Yami knew that soon a squad would be formed to battle with doku and Terumi clan's squad and repel them. He was expecting to be assigned there too because he wanted to copy boil release and lava release jutsu..
