Yami was completely merged into a tree near the huge mountain cave and was watching Kisame with confusion in his eyes.

Yes , the blue shark like bastard in front of him was really Kisame. He was already at low super Kage level chakra reserves. Yami could see that he would definitely be close to or will be at tailed beast level chakra reserves in future. Yami was confused because he could feel dense aura of loneliness from Kisame. He did not know whether to manipulate his memories or not.

Looks like Kisame had already killed his former teammates now and was searching for the meaning of life. He and Itachi were both highlighted a lot in the anime so Yami had good amount of information about them. Yami contemplated for a while and decided to make Kisame his pawn in the end.

Yami did not intend to stop Obito yet so he would definitely manipulate Fourth Mizukage Yagura in next few years and then Kisame would join Akatsuki . Yami wanted to change Kisame's memories permanently so that he becomes his loyal subordinate. After all who did not want future human tailed beast loyal subordinate.

To Yami this was only secondary concern because by the time Akatsuki actually started moving for real in future, he would have become insanely powerful himself. He wont fear Nagato and Obito at all. Now Yami was most interested in Kisame's bloodline.

After his mind was made, Yami decided to make a move. Yami came out from the tree and shot a special kunai straight into Kisame's direction.

Before Kisame could touch the kunai to deflect it with his sword, Yami already teleported before him and put Kisame in his most powerful EMS genjutsu.

Yami nodded in satisfaction as he looked at the frozen Kisame and held his special kunai inscribed with his Flying Thunder god seal on it. It was not much different from a regular kunai as Yami did not like much flashy things. The pitch black kunai only had one head and was litte longer than normal kunai.

Yami eyed the 40 Doku clan members who had not noticed him because he was standing more than seventy meters away from the cave. Yami's understanding of space element was highest among his elements so they were not capable of sensing the subtle space movements during his teleportation with their messily strenght and senses.

Yami again returned to his lazy expression and sighed because even erasing memories was a pain in the ass and now Yami had to spend a lot of time and instill new memories on top of that inside Kisame's mind. He had to do it anyway so after releasing a helpless sigh Yami got to work.

Yami first read all the memories of Kisame and was frightened a little because this guy was forced to complete many dangerous and nasty missions. Now he could feel his emotions directly so Yami could feel a lot of sympathy for Kisame. He was just raised as a human weapon for Kiri but they had forgot that human consciousness could not be controlled by just simple brainwashing..

Yami decided to ignore these feelings because it was none of his business. Yami used forty three minutes to erase a part of Kisame's memories and then instill new ones. Now he became much more proficient in doing this act and it would take much less time and effort in future.

Yami had made it so that Kisame would recognize him as his savior whom he had swore full loyalty too. After copying little of his dried blood , Yami woke Kisame up and was satisfied when Kisame bowed the first thing in front of him respectfully..

" Master Yami, what can I do for you? "

Yami replied indifferently " Kisame, just take this scroll and remember its contents to your heart later when you are alone and then burn it. Now go and return to your village's mission."

Yami just gave him a scroll which contained some instructions for him . Yami had also placed a mind communication seal inside Kisame's mind palace so they would be able to contact each other any time in future. No one could hope to find Yami's seal because his understanding of fuinjutsu has increased too much and the seals created by him are now much more fortified than before.

After that Yami immediately teleported back to his new small underground base and sent a small scroll back to Orochimaru using reverse summoning scroll. He had added the mission details of Kisame's group too which were to destroy Konoha's supply bases after meeting up with forces of Terumi clan. There were 40 members of doku clan in this squad but only five were jonin class. They didn't even have an elite jonin which meant that either Terumi clan 's squad had more powerful ones or just there were more enemies in this mission and Kisame and doku clan was simply not informed yet. After all Konoha's supply bases were guarded by at least one elite jonin and his team so enemies needed more powerful forces to deal with them.

Yami felt relaxed now so after pasting the new Hoshigaki bloodline- 78% pure, he went inside his time dimension for lazing around time. There were some average quality novels in this world and Yami decided to read one of the copies which he had with him...
