34 Chapter 34

Yami's figure flashed around the battlefront where Fugaku was fighting Pakura. His speed was too fast for even regular jonin to follow . Whenever he passed near an enemy , he would die with cleanly split throat and leave for the next enemy nearby in less than a second. Fugaku had some leisure while fighting Pakura as he was mostly focusing on avoiding her scorch release attacks.

He was shocked inside because the kid before him was totally a monster. Others may not know much about Yami but he had read the reports about him with much interest. After all Yami was not even nine years old but already a Tokubetsu Jonin. He even killed seven jonin class enemies until now and chunin were almost countless. Now that he saw the live action , Fugaku felt amazed and little scared of such a talent because he Could not imagine Yami's future at all.

Yami's main body only arrived a few minutes ago and already one jonin and twenty one chunin were slaughtered by him. Yami's mood was completely focused on his task because this time the job was much difficult for him than before. Fugaku was here and Yami did not activate his sharingan because he did not want to leave any chances of his secret's leakage.

So he was using swift release chakra to boost his speed by five times normal but had no sharingan to easily maneuver his steps. Thus he only focused on enemy's neck where he could ease his job by locking on a common target. After all every enemy had one neck and he just had to quickly slice it. The chunins were mostly under effects of genjutsu of Fugaku's small squad who specialized in genjutsu even though none of them were from Uchiha clan except Fugaku himself. Yami guessed that the squad must have adapted to Fugaku's style after following him for a while now.

They made his job too easier though because he only needed the enemy to be distracted for one no even half a second was sometimes enough for Yami to finish one. Yami looked to be randomly choosing his prey but that was not the case as he had fully unleashed his chakra sensor skill and only focused on the enemies whose chakra signature was in little turmoil due to being under effect of genjutsu.

This combination of swift release body Flicker and sensor skill became too deadly because of genjutsu being added. Yami did not even need to prepare himself for facing any counterattack and could solely focus on maintaining high speed movement. Actually Yami had never shown his true speed because his dexterity was already reaching higher levels of high jonin level along with his body strength after consent heavy training and regeneration of his stronger cells.

He only showed top chunin level speed empowerd by his swift release which was more than enough to silently reap the lives of enemy normal jonin if he caught them with extremely swift surprise attack. Yami simply was too lazy and did not want to attraction more than this because his missions would become more bothersome otherwise and he simply did not like too excessive attention whether it's from bad or good people. He still sighed a lot because inevitably his current actions were already more than enough to give him insane amount of attention. What can he do anyway? Yami was just doing best to amass kill pointed quickly while hiding most of his ability. Otherwise if he used Flying Thunder God then even thousand of chunin were ants combined with his shadow clones.

Yami finished his thirty fourth prey and acted like he was out of stamina. He Flicker neared Fugaku and flashed a pale smile at him which was intentional but it did not appear so in others eyes. Even with sharingan Fugaku could not see through Yami's chakra because his system allowed it to manipulate as much as he wanted. From the anbu experience he copied from Sakumo , Yami was already a master at faking expressions and even his breath easily.

" Ha..ha.. Fugaku san, has your child born yet ? I saw Mikoto sama many times in the village before being deployed here. "

Fugaku's stern face softened as he remembered that Yami was actually a small kid and he was really happy with the concern for his family.

" Haha.. Hm.. my first son is born now and I have named him Itachi. Kid, I hope that you will sometime help him in future when he needs you.. "

Yami confirmed his guess that Fugaku was actually a nice guy inside. So he genuinely smiled as Yami wanted to have a good relationship with him in future.

" Fugaku san , Congratulations. "

" Thank you kid. It would have been much better if I could see my newborn child up close but this war just... "

Yami also sighed along with Fugaku because he could feel Fugaku's emotions a little . After all which father did not want to spend time with his newborn child and help his weak wife to recover faster. Well honestly Yami just wanted a break as he must have completed collecting the necessary kill points to purify his Uchiha bloodline to 100% already. Now they were in middle of battle so he had no leisure to even check his system.

' What a drag.. ' Now the signature catchphrase of Nara became same for Yami too because this war shit was just too damn tiring for him. Pakura and her remaining subordinates have took some distance from them now and did not show signs of attack but Yami could feel the tensed air as the eyes of enemies were always scanning for an opportunity to break through Konoha's forces. Looks like they still had not given up on the idea of assisting their main forces. Fugaku sensed this too so he was little bit relaxed because they could conserve energy which would have quickly exhausted if the battle proceeded at fast rate.
